体に関する。[Field of Industrial Application] The present invention relates to a thermal transfer sheet for clothing and a thermal transfer recording medium, and more specifically, it is used to display on clothing care labels or clothing itself, and has good transferability and the transferred image is Dry cleaning resistance,
A thermal transfer sheet for clothing that can be obtained as an image (including characters, symbols, etc.) with excellent water and washing resistance (hereinafter sometimes referred to as "cleaning resistance"), and a combination of the thermal transfer sheet and a transferred object. The present invention relates to a thermal transfer recording medium for clothing.

。BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Many thermal transfer sheets for clothing have been proposed so far. In particular, when the ink layer of a thermal transfer sheet is formed in a pattern on a transfer object, efforts have been made to ensure that the image formed on the transfer object exhibits good cleaning resistance. There is. The reality is that such studies rely on the fixability of the binder resin, which is one of the constituent elements of the thermal transfer layer.

According to a thermal transfer sheet (among them, a thermal transfer sheet using a specific resin), the thermal transfer sheet is further combined with a transfer material having a receiving layer on a support whose main component is a substance that does not dissolve in a cleaning solvent. It has been found that using this method is effective. The present invention has been made based on this. The present invention will be explained in more detail below.

Copolymer resins are preferred because they have good dissolution resistance to cleaning solvents and good thermal transferability. Note that the melting point or softening point of these resins is preferably in the range of 50 to 200°C. However, it goes without saying that materials that become soluble in cleaning solvents due to their molecular weight or modification are not preferred.

It is sufficient that the layer is configured so that it is thermally melted and becomes a low viscosity liquid after being heated, and the layer is easily broken near the interface between the heated portion and the non-heated portion. Therefore, as the main component of the release layer, a wax-like substance that is hard at room temperature and melts when heated is preferably used.

By doing so, an image with excellent transferability can be obtained. Further, if a specific receptor layer is provided on the transfer target, image transfer with excellent cleaning resistance can be performed more effectively.
