    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 地図データ記憶手段からの道路網データ、位置
    計算手段からの現在位置データ、および入力手段
    からの出発地点、目的地点データに基づき車両進
    行コースを求めて表示手段にガイド表示すべく構
    成された車両用経路誘導装置において、渋滞情報
    と統計的推移データに基づいて、今後の予測渋滞
    地点の渋滞開始予測時間と、その地点への到達予
    測時間から予測渋滞地点を回避するか、否かを判
    定する手段を設けたことを特徴とする車両用経路
    誘導装置。
