Description

【発明の詳細な説明】[Detailed description of the invention]

(産業上の利用分野) 本発明は天然銘木化粧シートならびに該化粧シ
ートを貼着してなる天然銘木化粧板に係り、詳し
くは建物や住宅の壁面材、天井材、扉面材等の内
装材、あるいは家具、キヤビネツト、楽器、電気
製品等の表面化粧材として利用できる化粧シート
ならびに化粧板に関する。 (従来の技術) 近年、建物や住宅の壁面材あるいは天井材とし
てベニヤ板を基材とした化粧板が多く使用されて
きており、また家具、キヤビネツト等の表面化粧
材として化粧シート等が用いられてきている。 ところで、この種の化粧壁面や化粧天井を改装
するにあたつては、化粧板を壁面より剥離し、改
めて新しい化粧板を貼着する方向が採用されてい
る。しかしながらこの方法にあつては、剥離の際
ビニヤ板基材が割れて裂けて壁材等に残ることが
多く、この残存基材を取除く必要があるなど、改
装作業が面倒であつた。また、化粧板全体を取り
替える方法であるため、改装費用が高く尽き、経
済的でないなどの種々の欠点を有していた。そこ
で、簡便かつ経済的な改装方法として、使用中の
化粧板表面(あるいは表面層の化粧単板を剥した
化粧板表面)に直接薄手の化粧プラスチツクシー
トや化粧壁紙を貼付ける方法も従来より行なわれ
ている。しかし、この方法では、桧、欅等の銘木
特有の木目が内装材表面に表われないだけでな
く、貼着後撚れ、縮み、カールなどを生じ易く、
広い面積を凹凸なく貼着することが困難であつ
た。 また、家具あるいはキヤビネツトの表面材とし
ての化粧シートにあつても寸法安定性が悪く、貼
着した場合の反りが発生する問題点も有している
のである。 一方、化粧シートを例えばベニヤ板等の合板に
貼着した化粧板も提供されているが、この場合に
あつも化粧シートの寸法安定性が良くないため、
合板の吸湿等により化粧シートに伸縮が生じ、化
粧板の品質不多の発生といつた問題点が生じてい
た。 (発明が解決しようとする問題点) 本発明は前述の如く、従来の化粧シートに散見
される寸法安定性の悪さを解決し、化粧シートお
よび該シートを貼着した化粧板が吸湿あるいは乾
燥により“あばれ”を生じないようにし、それに
より化粧シート自体にそりの発生を防止し、また
表面のフラツト性を確保しようとするものであ
る。 したがつて本発明は、改装を簡便かつ経済的に
行ない得、その上仕上り具合が良好な化粧シート
を提供することにあり、また曲げが可能で加工性
に富み、湾曲部や曲面部の内装材などに有用な化
粧シートを提供することにある。 さらに、本発明は前記化粧シートを合板等の基
材に貼着した化粧板を提供せんとするものでもあ
る。 (問題点を解決するための手段) 本発明者は上述の問題点を解決し、品質の良好
な化粧シートを提供すべく検討を行い、特に化粧
シートの基材の一種としてアルミニウムあるいは
鉄等の金属箔を内在させれば寸法安定性が確保で
き、かつこの金属箔をポリエチレン層またはポリ
プロピレン層で加熱融着することにより良好な接
着性が得られることを新規に見出し、本発明を完
成させたのである。 すなわち本発明の化粧シートは、積層体とし
て、 和紙、クラフト紙、薄葉紙、含浸加工紙等の紙
あるいは不織布; ポリエチレン層またはポリプロピレン層; アルミニウム、鉄等の金属箔; ポリエチレン層またはポリプロピレン層; 和紙、クラフト紙、薄葉紙、含浸加工紙等の紙
あるいは不織布; を積層してなる積層体の表面上に、更に銘木単板

によつてもなんら品質の低下しないものである。 (実施例) 以下に本発明の化粧シートならびに化粧板を図
面に基づき更に詳細に説明する。 第1図は本発明の化粧シートの断面図を示した
ものである。すなわち本発明の化粧シート1は、
銘木単板2、接着剤3、および基剤4の積層体を
後述する圧締処理したものである。 この場合の銘木単板2は、各種の銘木、例えば
桧、楢、欅、桜、楡等の国産材、チーク、ローズ
ウツド、ウオールナツト、マホガニー、ゼブラウ
ツド等の輸入材を、例えば0.15〜0.60mm厚に薄く
切削した〓板である。 接着剤3は、常温硬化性、熱硬化性または熱可
塑性接着剤であつて、化粧単板貼着用として圧締
処理によつて接着剤自体が単体表面より滲み出さ
ない様に配合されたものであれば良い。例えば、
酢酸ビニル樹脂系、ラテツクス系、ユリア樹脂
系、水性ビニルウレタン樹脂系のものであり、具
体的には水溶性メラミン樹脂、スチレン−ブタジ
エン樹脂などを挙げることができる。 基材4は第1図に示す如く、和紙、クラフト
紙、薄葉紙、含浸加工紙等の紙あるいは不織布
5、ポリエチレンまたはポリプロピレン層6、ア
ルミニウム、鉄等の金属箔7、ポリエチレンまた
はポリプロピレン層8、および和紙、クラフト
紙、薄葉紙、含浸加工紙等の紙あるいは不織布9
からなる多層積層構造を有しており、積層構造を
形成す各層自体は、それぞれ特徴的な性質を有す

属箔7は、水分の拡散を制限するため、化粧シー
ト1の防水、防湿性の向上に貢献するものであ
る。このことから、金属箔7は厚さ7〜100μ、

ラミン樹脂、スチレン−ブタジエン樹脂などが挙
げられる。 次に合板等の基材12としては、ベニヤ等の合

できる。 次に本発明の化粧シート1ならびに化粧シート
1を貼着した化粧板10の製造方法について記記
す。 すなわち本発明の化粧シート1の製造方法にあ
つては、例えば銘木単板2、接着剤3ならびに紙
あるいは不織布5の構成のものにポリエチレン層
またはポリプロピレン層6、金属箔7、ポリエチ
レン層またはポリプロピレン層8および紙あるい
は不織布9の構成のものを重ね合せるか;あるい
は紙あるいは不織布5、ポリエチレン層またはポ
リプロピレン層6、金属箔7、ポリエチレン層ま
たはポリプロピレン層8および紙あるいは不織布
9の構成なものに接着剤3を介し銘木単板2を重
ね合せ、かかる積層物を圧締することにより製造
される。 この場合の圧締条件は、例えば接着剤3が熱硬
化性樹脂である場合には、前記積層物を熱圧締す
ることにより接着剤3を硬化せしめると共に、該
積層物を薄肉に圧縮するのであるが、例えば温度
約100℃、圧力約7Kg/cm2、時間約90秒の条件で
行うのがよい。 また、接着剤3が熱可塑性樹脂である場合に
は、前記積層物を熱圧縮で接着した後冷圧締する
ことにより、該積層物を薄肉に圧縮せしめる。こ
の場合の熱圧締の条件は、例えば温度約115℃、
圧力7Kg/cm2、時間120秒の条件で行なつた後、
冷圧締を圧力7Kg/cm2の同圧で常温まで冷却して
行なう。 一方、本発明の化粧板10の製造方法にあつて
は、例えば銘木単板2、接着剤3ならびに紙ある
いは不織布5の構成のものに、ポリエチレン層な
らびにポリプロピレン層6以下の積層物(6,
7,8,9,11および12)を重ね合せるか;
または紙あるいは不織布5以下の積層物(5,
6,7,8,9,11および12)に接着剤3を
介して銘木単板2を重ね合せるか、または合板等
の基剤12に接着剤11を介して化粧シート1を
重ね合せ、前記化粧シートの場合と同様圧締する
ことにより製造される。この場合の圧締条件も、
用いる接着剤3の種類により異なるが、前述の化
粧シートの場合の条件と同様のものが採用され

例を記すが本発明はこれに限定されるものではな
