Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to smoothly stick tape to an object by pressure by a constitution wherein at least some part of suction holes are covered with masking member by being sucked to the outer peripheral surface of a revolving roller, when the tape is not fed to the revolving roller. CONSTITUTION:When tape 20 is not fed between the outer peripheral surface 10 of a revolving roller 1 and masking member 4, the masking member 4 is sucked along the region, which is nearly one-fourth of the total peripheral length of the outer peripheral surface 10, so as to cover suction holes 11 within said region, resulting in holding certain intensity of suction pressure at respective suction holes 11. Further, when the whole tape 21 is revolvingly moved under the state being sucked to the outer peripheral surface 10 of the revolving roller 1, suction force does not act on the tape-like masking member 4, since the tape 21 covers the suction holes 11 by being sucked to the outer peripheral surface 10. When the tape 21 is revolvingly moved to the sticking starting point B and hot air 5 is fed from heating device against the tape 21 and work 7, which is carried by carrying device 6 and the one surface side of which is pressed by the revolving roller 1, the tape 21 is efficiently sticked on the work 7.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] The conventional tape pasting device described above cuts the tape 21a supplied from the tape supply device 2a by the cutting device 4a, and intermittently applies the tape 21a to the workpiece 7a for each required length. , on the outer circumferential surface 10a of the rotating roller 1a,
There are alternate regions where the tape 21a is attracted and regions where it is not attracted. Therefore, the amount of masking of the suction hole 11a opened in the outer circumferential surface 10a by the tape 21a changes, and the suction force changes. That is, the suction force for suctioning the air 8 through the suction hole 11a by the suction device 3 and adsorbing the tape 21a to the outer circumferential surface 10a is the same as that for the tape 21a.
becomes a normal value when the suction hole 11a is closed, and decreases when it is opened. Then, a tape 21a is attached to the outer peripheral surface 10a.
is not present and the suction hole 11a is open and the suction force is reduced, the tape supply device 2a supplies the outer circumferential surface 10a
Even if the tape 21a is supplied to the tape 21a, the leading end 210a and the trailing end (numbers not shown) in the longitudinal direction of the tape 21a are located at positions where there are many open suction holes 11a, so the outer circumferential surface 1
It became difficult to reliably attract the tape 21a to the workpiece 6a, and while the tape 21a was being conveyed to the target attachment position by the rotating roller 1a, the tape 21a was misaligned as shown in FIG. may be done. Also, tape 2
The tip 210a of 1a is the outer peripheral surface 10a of the rotating roller 1a.
If the tape 2 has a curl (deformation) in the direction of moving away from the rotating roller 1a, if the suction force is weak, the tape 2
As shown in FIG. 5, the tip 210a of the workpiece 1a floats up without being attracted, and is not attached to the regular attachment position of the workpiece 7a.

The suction holes formed on the outer circumferential surface are formed at approximately equal intervals along the circumferential direction within the width of the tape that is attracted to the outer circumferential surface. The number of suction holes can be arbitrarily set with respect to the circumferential length of the circumferential surface of the rotating roller. In addition, the number and diameter of suction holes are determined by the type of tape,
Suction is set according to the thickness, width, length, etc., and when the tape is attracted to the outer peripheral surface of the rotating roller, it can be attracted and held in the correct position without causing positional deviation or warping of the tape tip. Preferably, it is something that can provide strength. The rotating roller may include a hollow rotating shaft and a decompression chamber that communicates with the suction hole and the suction device, which will be described later, via the hollow rotating shaft.

A tape supply device supplies tape to the outer peripheral surface of a rotating roller. For example, a tape is continuously pulled out from a roll as a tape supply source, and the tape is supplied from one side to the other side. a pair of guide rollers arranged on the sides to sandwich the tape and send it out in the rotational direction of the rotating roller; a guide gap having a width wider than the width of the tape and larger than its thickness so that the tape can pass through; It can be composed of two band-shaped guide members facing each other. In order to stably guide the tape in the rotational direction of the rotating roller, it is preferable to use a metal or synthetic resin material having rigidity that does not change its shape as the belt-shaped guide member. Moreover, it is preferable that the band-shaped guide member has a gap in which a cutting tool for cutting the tape to a required length is positioned at a position orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the tape. Furthermore, instead of forming the guide gap, the two band-shaped guide members may have a groove for guiding the tape formed on one or both opposing surfaces, and may be used in combination with their opposing surfaces in contact with each other. I can do it.

Until the tape is sent out from the tape supply device, that is, when the tape is not adsorbed to the outer circumferential surface of the rotating roller, the mask member is formed around the outer circumferential surface of the rotating roller by sucking air from the suction hole with the suction device. adsorbs to the surface and blocks at least some of the many suction holes,
This prevents the suction force from decreasing. In addition, a constant strength of suction force is maintained in the suction hole. As a result, when the tape is fed out from the tape supply device, the tip of the tape is immediately suctioned by the above-mentioned constant strength suction force, and the entire length of tape required for adhesion is sucked onto the outer peripheral surface of the roller. The length of the tape-shaped mask member that can be conveyed in the rotational direction of the roller while holding the tape in the correct posture and attached to the workpiece is such that In order to obtain the suction power that attracts
When the tape is not at the outer circumferential surface position, it can be of a length that closes a number of suction holes and maintains suction force. The length of the mask member is preferably at least 2/3 or more of the total length of the tape fed out from the tape supply device and applied to the workpiece. In addition, the length of the mask member may be set, for example, in the range of 6/25 to 9/25 of the total length of the rotating roller in the circumferential direction, or that the perpendicular line hanging from the rotation center of the rotating roller intersects with the outer peripheral surface. When the position where the tape contacts the object to be adhered is defined as the point of contact between the tape and the object to be adhered, the arc length can be set to a position approximately 140 degrees in the direction opposite to the rotational direction of the rotary roller with respect to the perpendicular line. Further, it is preferable to use a tape-shaped mask member whose width is larger than the width of the guiding tape. As for the material of the tape-shaped mask member, it is preferable to use a material such as fluororesin, which is not affected by the adhesive force of the tape.

Therefore, according to the tape applicator of the present invention, when the tape extends in the rotational direction of the rotating roller and is not supplied to a position along the outer circumferential surface so as to cover the outer circumferential surface, the mask member Since it sticks to the surface and closes at least a portion of the suction hole, the suction force can be maintained at all times without decreasing.

Therefore, when the tape is supplied from the tape supply device to the outer circumferential surface of the rotating roller in this state, the suction force immediately acts on the tape and ensures that the longitudinal tip and the entire tape are firmly attached to the outer circumferential surface of the rotating roller. It can be conveyed to the target position in close contact with the adhesive. Here, the rotating roller can smoothly press and adhere the tape to the target object.

In the tape applying device of this embodiment configured as described above, during operation, the rotating roller 1 is rotated in the direction of arrow S1,
Further, the inside of the decompression chamber 12 is maintained in a constant depressurized state by the suction device 3. When the tape 20 is not supplied between the outer peripheral surface 10 of the rotating roller 1 and the mask member 4, the mask member 4 is approximately 1/4 of the total circumferential length of the outer peripheral surface 10.
It is adsorbed along the area of . At this time, since the mask member 4 closes the suction holes 11 in the sucked area, a constant strength of suction pressure is maintained in each suction hole 11.

(See FIG. 4) Then, as shown in FIG. 2, the tape 21 is pulled out and supplied from the take-up tape body 20 in the direction of arrow S2 by driving the pair of tape feed rollers 22 and 23, and the lower plate-shaped tape The tape 21 is guided by a guide 24 and an upper plate-like tape guide 25.The tape 21 is fed between the mask member 4 and the rotating roller 1, and the outer peripheral surface is 10. Next, as shown in FIG.
The tape cutter 26 at position 5a cuts the tape into a preset length. The tape 21 rotates and moves in sequence in the direction of arrow S1 together with the rotating roller 1. Further, when the entire tape 21 is attracted to the outer peripheral surface 10 of the rotating roller 1 and rotated, the tape 21 is attracted to the outer peripheral surface 10 and the suction holes are formed in the tape-shaped mask member 4, as shown in FIG. By blocking 11, the suction force does not work. Therefore, the mask member 4 floats upward using one end 40 as a support axis due to its own elasticity and is separated from the outer circumferential surface 10 and the tape 21. Then, the tape 21 adsorbed to the outer circumferential surface 10 is rotated to the adhesion starting point B, and the tape 21 and the workpiece 7 are brought into pressure contact with the rotating roller 1 on one side of the workpiece 7 transported by the transporting device 6.
By supplying hot air 5 from the heating device of the circuit, the tape 21 is efficiently adhered to the workpiece 7. Thereafter, when all of the tape 21 in the region of the tape-shaped mask member 4 is adhered to the workpiece 7 side, the mask member 4 is again attracted to the outer circumferential surface 10 of the rotating roller 1, as shown in FIG. Until the next time the tape 21 is sent out, the suction hole 11 is closed to prevent the suction force from decreasing. However, the tip 21 of the tape 21
Eliminates the problem of the conventional roller rear end 211 floating above the outer circumferential surface 10 of the rotating roller 1 due to curling, etc., causing positional deviation, or not being attracted to the outer circumferential surface 10 while maintaining the correct posture. can do.
