[発明の目的]
(産業上の利用分野〉
この発明は、情報処理装置の外部記憶装置、或いはプロ
グラムソースとして用いられるカード状記憶装置に閏す
る.
(従来の技術〉
従来のカード状記憶装置には、その接続方式によりカー
ドエツヂタイプ及びツーピースタイプの二つに大別され
る.
府者ほやや信頼性に欠け主としてゲーム用等に用いられ
、後者はfiM性が高く、産業用に用いられるが、高価

この発明は,前記事情に基づいてなされたものであり、
カードエッヂタイプの価格で、ツービスタイブと同等の
信頼性を持つカード状記憶装置を提供しようとするもの
である.

(問題点を解決するための手段〉
この発明では、外部端子とカード状記憶装置の接続手段
として、上下方向にのみ電導性を有ずる異方性電導性ゴ
ム又は類似の物質を用い、しかも前記電導性ゴムからな
る接続手段を単に、プリント基板の端子部の上で、且つ
ガード本体の開口の後方に置くだけで機能させている.
異方性電導性ゴムの使用量は極めて小量であり、価格的
には殆ど無視出来る.
また、カード状記憶装置組立に際し、この部分に要する
加工費用も無視出来る程度である.しかも、接続手段は
カード本体内部にあり、力一ドエッヂタイプの様に露出
していないので信頼性状の問題は発生しない.
(作用)
カード本体の開口から挿入された外部端子は、異方性電
導ゴム又は類似の物質からなる接続手段の上面に接触し
、その下にあるプリント基板の端子部と電気的に接続す
る.
結果として、プリント基板上の半導体記憶装置と外部端
子間に回路が楕戒され、外部記憶装置或いはプログラム
ソースとしての機能を果たす事になる.
(実施例)
以下、この発明の一実施例について図面を参照して説明
する.
第一図はこの発明によるカード上記憶装置の断面図であ
り、第二図は、その展開図である.図において、1はカ
ード本体であり、その一側面に沿って複数の開口4、4
゜、4”・・・及びプリント基板3上に搭載された半導
体記憶装置2を収容する為の空間7を有する.
プリント基板3はカード本体1の開口4、4゜4”・・
・に対応する位置に接続用端子部6、6、6”・・・を
持ち、配線により半導体記憶装置2と接続され回路を構
成している.
5は上下方向にのみ電導性を有する異方性電導ゴムの接
続手段であり、その上下方向の個々の電導パス間の間隔
はプリント基板上の接続用端子間の間隔より十分小さい
.
従って、接続手段の個々の電導パスとプリント基板上の
接続用端子およびカード本体の開口との整合は全く考慮
する必要がなく、完全なセルファライメントである.
8、8゜、8”・・・は外部端子であり、カド本体の開
口4、4゜、4”・・・からカード本体内部に挿入され
、接続手段5の上面と接触し、その結果としてプリント
基板上の端子部及び配線を通して半導体記憶装置2に接
続し回路を構成する.
この実施例では、開口及び接続手段が一列の場合につい
て説明したが、第三図に示す様に開口を二列とし、プリ
ント基板の両面に接続手段を配置する事により、更に多
端子接続が可能になる.その他、この発明の要旨を変え
ない範囲において、種々変形可能な事は勿論である.
[発明の効果]
以上、詳述した様に、この発明によれば、カドエッヂタ
イプのカード状記憶装置とほぼ同等の価格で、しかもツ
ーピースタイプに匹敵する高信頼性のカード状記憶装置
を提供する事ができる.そして、第三図は開口及び接続
手段を二列にした場合の断面図である.

の一主面状に半導体記憶装置を搭載し、前記カード本体
の開口に対応する位置に複数の接続用端子部を持ち、前
記半導体記憶装置と接続用端子部間が適当に配線された
プリント基板と、前記プリント基板上の接続用端子部の
上に置かれ、且つ前記カード本体の開口の後方に配置さ
れた、上下方向にのみ電導性を有する異方性電導性ゴム
又は類似の物質からなる接続手段を有し、前記カード本
体の開口から挿入される外部端子と前記接続手段により
電気的に接続し回路を構成する事を特徴とするカード状
