As a conventional combine harvester engine exhaust system, one is known that has a structure in which both a muffler and an exhaust pipe are arranged along the fuselage frame, such as the one disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 50-87025. Ta.

However, in this type of structure, since the muffler and exhaust pipe are arranged sideways, waste straw etc. tend to accumulate, and the heat of the exhaust gas causes the accumulated waste straw waste to be removed. There is a high risk that it will smolder or catch fire.

Therefore, in order to suppress problems such as ignition of deposits, a structure in which the muffler is arranged vertically has been considered, but as shown in Fig. 7, the muffler 8
The transition point of the exhaust gas from the air to the exhaust pipe 10, as well as the air inlet between the exhaust pipe 8A of the muffler 8 and the exhaust pipe 10 for cooling the exhaust gas by mixing it with outside air, are located along the fuselage frame. If installed at the location where the exhaust pipe 10 is installed, since the exhaust pipe 10 itself is located low relative to the ground, muddy water will easily enter the exhaust pipe 10 from the transition location and air intake port, clogging the exhaust passage. There is a high risk of it being lost, and
Since the muffler outlet leading to the transition point is arranged sideways, there is a possibility that the waste straw and the like accumulated on the muffler outlet may catch fire due to the heat from the muffler 8.

The present invention was developed in view of the above-mentioned circumstances, and includes problems such as muddy water entering the exhaust pipe from the transition point of exhaust gas from the muffler to the exhaust pipe, and
To provide an engine exhaust device for a combine harvester capable of suppressing smoldering or ignition of straw waste once accumulated in an exhaust pipe, etc.

In order to achieve the above object, the engine exhaust system for a combine harvester according to the present invention has the structure described above, and guides exhaust gas from the mounted engine via an elastic cushion to the upper part of a vertically installed muffler. , configured to guide exhaust gas emitted from the lower end of the muffler to an exhaust pipe extending horizontally along the fuselage frame, the front end of the exhaust pipe being configured to
a skirt that is bent upward so as to be above the fuselage frame and faces the downwardly opened exhaust outlet of the muffler in a non-contact state, and extends downward from the lower part of the muffler on the outside of the opposing part; A gap for introducing outside air into the exhaust pipe is formed between the exhaust outlet of the muffler and the front end of the exhaust pipe.

In other words, the front end of the exhaust pipe is bent upward so that it is above the aircraft frame and faces the downwardly-opening exhaust outlet of the muffler in a non-contact state, so that the exhaust gas from the muffler is transferred to the exhaust pipe. The transition point is located high relative to the ground, which prevents muddy water from entering the exhaust pipe from the transition point, and the transition point is surrounded by a skirt to further prevent muddy water from entering. is suppressed. Furthermore, since outside air is allowed to flow into the exhaust pipe through the gap between the exhaust outlet of the muffler and the front end of the exhaust pipe, the exhaust gas and outside air are mixed near the exhaust pipe and pass through the exhaust pipe. As a result, the exhaust pipe temperature tends to decrease.

Therefore, according to the present invention, it is possible to prevent muddy water from entering through the gap between the exhaust outlet of the muffler and the front end of the exhaust pipe, thereby avoiding clogging of the exhaust pipe due to entry of muddy water, etc. At the same time, by lowering the temperature of the exhaust gas passing through the exhaust pipe, the temperature of the exhaust pipe can also be lowered, making it possible to prevent problems such as straw waste accumulated in the exhaust pipe from smoldering or catching fire. This invention is characterized by the connection between the first half of the exhaust system, which is led from the exhaust manifold 7 at the front of the engine to the muffler 8 at the rear via a short pipe 9, and the second half of the exhaust system, which includes the exhaust pipe 10 after this muffler. The front end 10a of the exhaust pipe 10 is opposed to the downwardly opened exhaust outlet 8a of the vertical muffler 8 at a position higher than the fuselage frame 3 in a non-contact state. It is surrounded by a skirt portion 11 extending downward from the lower part. As shown in FIG. 3, the exhaust pipe 10 extends horizontally between the fuselage frames 3 and opens toward the rear end of the fuselage.

Further, the skirt portion 11 may have a straight cylindrical shape as shown in FIG. 1A, or a downwardly expanding shape as shown in FIG. It is only necessary that there is a gap between them in the radial direction, the axial direction, or both directions, and the skirt portion 11 surrounds this gap region. To supplement the case in Figure 1A, there is a receiving part 8b at the top of the muffler 8, into which a short pipe 9 is inserted concentrically with a gap S, and the muffler body has a double cylinder shape, with a porous inner cylinder. A short pipe 9 from the manifold is directly connected to 8c, and the receiving portion 8b is attached to the outer cylinder 8d. Therefore, the outside air flowing down the inner and outer sections as indicated by the arrow F and the engine exhaust E in the inner cylinder enter the exhaust pipe 10 while mixing in the region of the exhaust outlet 8a.
Then, from the space between the skirt portion 11 and the lower part of the muffler, other outside air is sucked in by the ejector action as shown by arrow G and further mixed into the exhaust gas.

In both cases of Fig. 1 A and B, the muffler 8, which vibrates integrally with the engine, is connected to the exhaust pipe 10, which vibrates integrally with the aircraft body, at a location with a high ground clearance for vibration isolation. The structure is such that outside air can be sucked in from the outside. Furthermore, since a skirt is provided vertically at this connection part, there is no risk of straw waste or the like getting in from the outside.

In addition, the muffler exhaust outlet 8a and the exhaust pipe end 10a
In order to easily perform non-contact alignment with the exhaust pipe 10, a bent pipe 10A is inserted and connected to the exhaust pipe 10 as shown in FIG. Positioning can be easily done by moving forward and backward like U.

To supplement the vibration-isolating connection mentioned above, when the combine harvester is stopped and only the threshing device is operated via the engine output pulley 6a and the threshing drive pulley P1 , the engine 6 moves in the direction of the arrow V in FIG. When the thresher is pulled in or when the thresher is in a rest state, only the traveling system is driven via the mission drive pulley P2 and the engine 6 is pulled in the direction of the arrow W, despite the presence of the elastic cushions 13 and 13'. There is a risk that the engine will collide with the side of the aircraft, causing large vibrations. In this case, the muffler exhaust outlet 8a or skirt portion 11 in the exhaust system collides with the front end portion 10a of the exhaust pipe, causing a source of noise.
10a may be damaged. To prevent this, a stopper 14 made of a highly rigid elastic material is provided on the side of one elastic cushion 13 at the front of the engine 6, as shown in FIG. It is sufficient to provide a stopper 14 whose at least abutment portion is made of an elastic material. Reference numeral 15 indicates a bonnet.
