Abstract

PURPOSE:To give constant brightness to the whole plane of a display screen by adjusting the amplification degree of an amplifier to amplify a video input signal by an amplification degree adjusting signal obtained by superimposing a DC basic amplification degree adjusting signal and a parabola-shaped modulating signal to synchronize with the horizontal and vertical scanning cycles of a cathode ray tube. CONSTITUTION:The video input signal is supplied through a signal line 1 to an amplifier 2, and a video output signal amplified in this amplifier 2 is supplied through a signal line 3 to a cathode 4a of a cathode ray tube 4.
