Generally, rubber/plastic insulated cables are
An inner semiconductive layer, an insulator (polyethylene, crosslinked polyethylene, EPR rubber, etc.) layer, an outer semiconductive layer, a semiconductive cloth tape layer, a shielding copper tape layer, and a presser cloth tape layer are sequentially formed on the conductor, Finally, a sheath is applied to the outermost periphery.

However, in recent years, as the manufacturing speed of rubber/plastic insulated cables has increased, for example, the tape winding speed of semiconductive cloth tape, shielding copper tape, and presser cloth tape has increased. As a result, the semiconductive cloth tape and the external semiconductive layer were sometimes firmly fused due to the heat generated during subsequent extrusion of the sheath.

The rubber/plastic insulated cable of this invention is
As an example thereof can be seen in the drawings, on a conductor 1, an inner semiconducting layer 2a, an insulating layer 2, an outer semiconducting layer 2b, a semiconducting cloth tape 3, a shielding copper tape 5 and a presser cloth tape 6 are formed. Formed sequentially, and finally sheath 7
In the rubber/plastic insulated cable made of a semiconductive cloth tape 3, the semiconductive cloth tape 3 is a semiconductive cloth coated with or impregnated with 0.5 to 3 g of silicone resin per 1 m 2 of surface area on the side in contact with the external semiconductive layer 2b. It is characterized by being a tape.

Here, the outer semiconductive layer 2b of the semiconductive cloth tape 3
The surface that corresponds to is coated or impregnated with silicone resin. A method for applying or impregnating the semiconductive cloth tape 3 with silicone resin is to apply the silicone resin on the semiconductive compound coating layer when applying the semiconductive compound to the base fabric of the semiconductive cloth tape 3. Alternatively, it is preferable to apply a semiconductive compound kneaded with silicone resin to the base fabric of the semiconductive cloth tape 3.

The semiconductive cloth tape 3 used in the cable of the present invention is preferably obtained by applying a semiconductive compound to a base fabric as described above and then heating and vulcanizing it. Further, the silicone resin in the semiconductive cloth tape 3 is coated or impregnated as described above, and then usually heated and cured before use.

This eliminates the problem of forcibly peeling off the semiconductive cloth tape 3 from the external semiconductive layer 2b during the terminal and connection work, and allows the cable connection and terminal processing work to be performed smoothly.

The amount of silicone resin applied or impregnated in the present invention is limited to 0.5 to 3 g/m 2 .
The reason is that if it is less than 0.5 g/m 2 , the effect of easily peeling off the semiconductive cloth tape 3 will be reduced;
If it exceeds 3g/ m2 , use semiconductive cloth tape 3
This not only worsens the electrical contact with the cable external semiconductive layer 2b that is integrally extruded onto the surface of the cable insulator, but also makes it easier for rubber to adhere to the semiconductive cloth tape, causing corona discharge. This is because it becomes a cause.
