CONSTITUTION:A reflection-type recording paper sensor 8 incorporated in a device emits an infrared ray from an emission side 8-a and receives the light reflected by roll-form recording paper 2 into a reception side 8-b as a sensor output. When the roll-form recording paper 2 is consumed and a round hole part 2-b reaches a position just below the recording paper sensor 8, an infrared ray from the emission side 8-a passes through the round hole part 2-b of the roll-form recording paper 2. Therefore, the reception side 8-b does not receive the reflected light, and the sensor output results in zero. This is the state that the trailing end of the roll-form recording paper 2 is detected. はセンチ−出力が有る。この有無の信号により、ロール
紙の終端検出が可能となる。また巻芯にロール紙終端部
を固着することでロール紙の巻きもどしも可能となり、
往復記録も可能となる。また特罠ロール状記録紙が透明
シートの場合、透明部分のセンチ−出力が安定して出力
出来るように反射型センチ−のゲインを高(設定するた
め、記録紙終瑠部近傍金黒色印刷又は黒色テープ等貼付
る方法等も考えられるが、いずれも反射光を発生し安定
した検出とはならない。

紙終端検出が可能となる。また巻芯にロール紙終端部を
固着することで、熱転写カラー記録等の往復重ね記録時
における記録紙巻戻しも容易に出来、この結果終ysf
!i5の記録紙が装置内でジャムになるという心配も排
除することが出来る。
