Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease the deviation of a web center by providing the guide device between the inlet side and outlet side of the universal rolling mill. CONSTITUTION:This rolling mill has horizontal rolls H' which holds the web hb of a shape material A in place above and below therebetween and are changeable in roll width W and a pair of right and left vertical rolls V which restrain the outer sides of the flanges of the shape material A. The roll width W of the horizontal rolls H' and the roll gap of the vertical rolls are properly adjusted. The production of the shape steels having the specified outside widths and the production of the shape steels of diversified sizes within the same rolling chance are made advantageous in this way without requiring the frequent changes of the rolls and guides. Particularly the generation of the large deviation of the web center which may arise at the time of the rolling reduction of the web hb in the height direction is averted and the dimensional accuracy is additionally improved.

竪ロール■のロール間隔を適宜調整することによって、
ロールやガイドの頻繁な取り替えを要することなく外幅
一定の形鋼を製造したり、多種サイズの形鋼を同一圧延
チャンス内で製造するのに有利であり、特にウェブh、
を高さ方向に圧下縮小する際に懸念されるウェブ中心の
大きな偏りの発生は回避され、寸法精度をより一層向上
させることができる。

する形鋼の誘導装置。 2、ガイドに、形材のフランジ幅端に当接して転動する
ガイドローラを有する請求項1記載の装置。 3、フランジおよびウェブを有する形材の該ウェブを上
下から挟むロール幅の変更可能な水平ロールと形材のフ
ランジ面外側からフランジ厚みを圧下する左右一対の竪
ロールを備えたユニバーサル圧延機において、上記ユニ
バーサル圧延機の入側から出側に至るまでの間又は該圧
延機の入側から圧延ロールのロール中心に至るまでの間
に、形材のフランジ幅端面をそれぞれ上下に挟む左右一
対のガイドとこれら左右各々のガイドの上下における少
なくとも一方を上下方向に移動させる昇降手段よりなる
誘導装置を配設したことを特徴とするユニバーサル圧延
機。
