Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the both edge parts of an outer cutting edge from receiving a large load from an inner cutting edge even when the side surface of the outer cutting edge is pressed to the skin and force is applied from a horizontal direction by interposing an outer cutting edge frame between the inner cutting edge and the both edge parts of the outer cutting edge. CONSTITUTION:An outer cutting edge 1, for which a lot of cutting edge holes 10 are formed, is formed by a thin metallic plate to be freely bendable and in the both edge parts of the outer cutting edge, plural positioning holes 11 are respectively provided. An outer cutting edge frame 2 to hold the outer cutting edge 1 is formed from a holding frame 20 and a fitting frame 25 here. Since the holding frame 20 in the outer cutting edge frame 2 is interposed between the both edge parts of the outer cutting edge 1 and an inner cutting edge 4, a pedestal 41 in the inner cutting edge 4 comes into contact the upper inner surface of the holding frame 20 and the over load is not applied to the outer cutting edge 1 even when the outer cutting edge is pressed to the skin and the force is applied from the outer cutting edge 2 to the inner cutting edge 4 in the horizontal direction.

In this case, when the inner cutter presses the outer cutter against the skin in sliding contact with the inner cutter, if a force is applied from the side that crosses the reciprocating direction of the inner cutter, the inner cutter will be located between the inner cutter and the inner cutter frame. The load from the inner cutter is applied to both ends of the outer cutter, resulting in severe wear at both ends of the outer cutter, sometimes resulting in breakage of the outer cutter. In addition, the radius of curvature when curving the outer cutter cannot be made too small due to the material of the outer cutter and the degree of adhesion with the inner cutter, and there are restrictions on thinning the outer cutter. The presence of the blade frame makes it even more difficult to make the blade thinner, and when shaving in areas where the skin is uneven, such as under the chin, it is difficult to apply the blade to the skin, resulting in unshaved areas. The present invention has been made in view of these points, and its object is to provide a reciprocating electric shaver that does not cause damage to the outer cutters and can be made thinner.

Accordingly, the present invention provides an electric shaver in which both ends of a curved outer cutter are attached to an outer cutter frame, in which both ends of the outer cutter are attached to the outer cutter frame on the outer surface side of the outer cutter frame.
It is characterized in that an outer cutter frame is interposed between the inner cutter, which has an inner cutter blade attached to a base that slides on the inner surface of the outer cutter, and both ends of the outer cutter. [Function] According to the present invention, even if force is applied from the side by pressing the side surface of the outer cutter against the skin, there will be no damage between the inner cutter and both ends of the outer cutter where it is attached to the outer cutter frame. Because the outer cutter frame exists, both ends of the outer cutter do not receive a large load from the inner cutter, and the outer cutter frame, which must be thick to a certain extent due to strength issues, is Since it is located inside the blade, there is no need to provide a thick member on the outside of the outer blade, and the blade can be made thinner. [Example] The present invention will be described in detail below based on the illustrated example.
An example is shown in FIGS. The outer cutter 1, in which a large number of cutter holes 10 are formed, is formed of a thin flexible metal plate, and a plurality of positioning holes 11 are provided at each end of the outer cutter 1. The outer cutter frame 2 that holds the outer cutter 1 is the holding frame 2 here.
0 and a mounting frame 25. The holding frame 20 is provided with a plurality of positioning protrusions 21a and 21b on the outer surface of both sides thereof, and is also provided with a through hole 22, and is further provided with connecting portions 23 on the outer surface of both end surfaces. Positioning protrusions 21 of the holding frame 20 are inserted into the positioning holes 11 at both ends thereof.
A, 21b are inserted, and the thin plate-like mounting plates 3 are placed on both ends of each end, so that they are attached to the holding frame 20 in a curved state. The mounting plate 3 here is provided with mounting pieces 30 at both ends thereof, which are passed through the through holes 22 of the holding frame 20 and bent on the inner surface side of the holding frame 20.
The surface facing the holding frame 20 is provided with grooves 31 for allowing the plurality of positioning protrusions 21a and 21b to escape. Incidentally, since this ridge 31 forms a protrusion on the surface side of the mounting plate 3, it also contributes to improving the strength of the mounting plate 3. On the other hand, the mounting frame 25 of the outer cutter frame 2 is attached to the main body 5 in which a motor, a driver 50 that converts the rotation of the motor into reciprocating motion, etc. are housed, and the mounting frame 25 is attached to the main body 5 in which a motor, a drive element 50 that converts the rotation of the motor into reciprocating motion, etc. are housed. The connecting portion 23 provided on the holding frame 20 is inserted into the groove 26, and the hook 24 in the connecting portion 23 engages, thereby connecting the holding frame 20. However, in this electric shaver, the inner cutter 4, which is made up of an inner cutter blade 40, a base 41, and a joint 42 and is attached to the driver 50, is pressed against the outer cutter 1 while being biased by a push-up spring 51. By slidingly contacting the inner surface, it cuts the whiskers introduced into the interior through the blade hole 10 of the outer cutter 1, and as is clear from FIG. 1, both ends of the outer cutter 1 and the inner cutter 4 In between, there is a holding frame 2 in the outer cutter frame 2.
0, the outer cutter 1 and the inner cutter 4 are inserted from the side when pressing against the skin, as shown by the arrows in FIG.
Even if a force is applied to the inner cutter 4, the base 41 of the inner cutter 4 comes into contact with the upper inner surface of the holding frame 20, so that the movement of the inner cutter 4 in the left-right direction in the drawing is restricted. Therefore, an excessive load is not applied to the outer cutter 1, and damage to the outer cutter 1 does not occur. Note that the positioning protrusion 21a on the holding frame 20. 21b, a pair of positioning protrusions 21a21a at both ends
In addition to making the height larger than the thickness t of the outer cutter 1, as shown in FIG.
The outer cutter 1 is prevented from coming off by making the gap g between it and the inner surface less than the thickness t of the outer cutter 1. Furthermore, the reason why there are two positioning protrusions 21a and 21a at both ends is that even if the gap g is almost zero or the height of the positioning protrusions 21a is greater than the depth of the groove 31, the mounting plate 3 can be kept almost parallel. This is to make it easier to install. Furthermore, the mounting plate 3 is provided with a warp in advance as shown by arrow A in FIG. As shown in FIG. 2, the mounting plate 3 protrudes upward from the holding frame 20 by an amount indicated by β in the figure, and the mounting plate 3 is fitted into the blade hole 10 near the upper end of the mounting plate 3. This prevents the introduced whiskers from being strained and pulled between them and the upper end of the holding frame 20. In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the outer cutter frame 2 is formed of a single member without being divided into both the holding frame 20 and the mounting frame 25, and is subjected to lateral forces. Inner blade of time 4
The movement of the joint 42 is restricted by the portion of the joint 42 facing the inner surface of the outer cutter frame 2 with a small gap coming into contact with the outer cutter frame 2. The outer cutter frame 2 may be formed integrally with the main body 5. In the figure, 21 is a positioning protrusion. Another embodiment is shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, in which the end of the outer cutter 1 is installed on the outer surface of the holding frame 20 of the outer cutter frame 2 by using a protruding part from the outer surface of the holding frame 20. This is done by heat-sealing the tips of a plurality of protrusions 27 that are inserted into the attachment hole 12 at the end of the outer blade 1. This eliminates the need for the mounting plate 3. To increase the mounting strength, as shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, the number of protrusions 27 whose tips are heat-sealed can be increased. If the protrusions 27 are shifted in position, the number of protrusions 27 can be increased. When attaching the end of the outer cutter 1 to the outer surface of the outer cutter frame 2 by heat-sealing the protrusion 27, see Figures 1O and 11.
As shown in the figure, a reinforcing plate 2 attached to the outer surface of the end of the outer cutter 1
8 may be used. After the protrusion 27 is passed through the attachment hole 12 of the outer cutter 1 and the two attachment holes of the reinforcing plate 28, the tip of the protrusion 27 is caulked by heat sealing. In this case, since the reinforcing plate 28 presses down the entire end portion of the outer cutter 1, deformation of the outer cutter 1 when an external force is applied to the outer cutter 1 can be suppressed. When installing the outer cutter 1 using the mounting plate 3, the first
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 13, a plurality of bosses 35 are provided protruding from the mounting plate 3, and these bosses 35 are inserted into the mounting holes 12 of the outer cutter 1 through mounting holes formed in the holding frame 20. 36 may be press-fitted. Furthermore, as shown in FIGS. 14 and 15, the mounting holes 1
The outer cutter 1 with a reinforcing plate 28 formed on the end thereof is put into a mold together with the reinforcing plate 28, and the outer cutter 1 is formed on the outer surface of the holding frame 20 by simultaneous molding (outsur) and molding to form the holding frame 20.
The ends may be fixed. In the figure, reference numeral 38 denotes a caulking portion that is formed integrally with the holding frame 20 during molding and locks onto the outer surface of the reinforcing plate 28. In this case, since post-processing is not required, it can be manufactured at low cost. In the case of the outer cutter 1 whose both ends are fixed to the outer surface side of the outer cutter frame 2 in this way, the shape of the surface fixed to the outer cutter frame 1 is as shown in FIG. It is preferable to have an arcuate cross-section and to make the second moment of area of the central portion 1a smaller than that of the other portions so that the bending rigidity is lowered. For example, the change in bending rigidity is caused by the change in the blade hole 1 in the central portion 1a.
The width of the part of the crosspiece between 0 is made narrower than the width of the other part of the crosspiece, the thickness of the central part 1a is made smaller than the thickness of other parts, and the percentage of the blade hole 10 that is open is reduced. This can be obtained by increasing the aperture ratio at the central portion 1a. Furthermore, when the outer cutter 1 is attached to the outer cutter frame 2, the shape of the outer cutter 1 is such that the radius of curvature r gradually increases from the central part to the end part K, as shown in FIG. Similarly, the radius of curvature of the inner blade 40 of the inner cutter 4 is made to gradually increase from the center to the end. In this case, the push-up spring 5 disposed inside the driver 50
Due to the spring biasing of the inner cutter 4 toward the inner surface of the outer cutter 1 by the inner cutter 1, the inner cutter blade 40 comes into contact with the inner cutter blade 40 gradually from the center to the end side, and the push-up force is small.
If the bending rigidity of the blade is kept low at the center as described above, even if the push-up force is further reduced, the radius of curvature at the center of the outer cutter 1 when attached to the outer cutter frame 2 will be quite small. Even if it is, the degree of adhesion between the outer cutter 1 and the inner cutter blade 4 can be made good with a small pushing force,
In addition to improving cutting performance, the outer cutter 1 and inner cutter 4
The sliding resistance between the two can be reduced. Further, reducing the radius of curvature means that the overall thickness can be reduced, but in the case of the present invention, the attachment of both ends of the outer cutter 1 to the outer cutter frame 2 is done on the outer surface side of the outer cutter frame 2. Therefore, even if a clamping member such as the mounting plate 3 or the reinforcing plate 28 that clamps both ends of the outer cutter between the outer surface of the outer cutter frame 2 is used, the thickness of these clamping members may be thin, and the outer There is no thick member on the outside of both ends of the blade 1, which makes it more effective to make it thin, and it can be used even in uneven areas such as under the chin and around the Adam's apple without leaving any residue. You can shave. To specifically explain the shape of the inner blade 40 corresponding to the outer blade 1, the curve drawn by the cutting edge of the inner blade 40 is as follows:
As shown in FIG. 18, the top of the inner blade 40 is
When using the origin of the coordinates, it is usually a hyperbolic shape expressed by Y=a-cosh-X/a (a is a constant) or a parabolic shape expressed by a high-order polynomial. In order to improve adhesion, the blade has a parabolic shape, and the I-I section where the cutting edge is formed is a curve that approximates a sixth-order polynomial. Inner blade 4
When the slope of the tangent to the cutting edge at 0 is θ, the shape is such that the slope θ monotonically increases as it moves away from the top of the inner blade 40, that is, the curve shown by A in FIG. 19 is obtained. When drawing the curves indicated by B and C, there are inflection points at locations A and A in the figure, and a gap is created between the curves and the outer cutter 1 at these locations. Now, when providing the outer cutter 1 that is thinner as described above, one surface of the outer cutter 1' is approximately flush with the front surface of the main body 5, as shown in FIGS. 20 and 21. It is preferable that the other surface of the outer cutter 1 is tilted significantly (α) toward the front, that is, the top of the outer cutter 1 is positioned largely toward the front side of the main body 5. The top part is the sharpest and has the highest cutting efficiency.
Normally, when shaving while holding the main body 5, the thumb of the hand that grips the main body 5 is placed at approximately the same position as the front surface of the main body 5, so the user can clearly recognize the position of the top. , can perform shaving work, and has outer blade 1.
The trimmer blade 55, which is disposed on the front side of the main body 5, and the top of the outer cutter 1 can be shaved by reliably placing the top of the trimmer on the desired area.
It becomes easy to shave with the outer cutter 1 and inner cutter 4 and to use the trimmer blade 55 properly while operating the switch handles 56 and 57. 58 in FIG. 21 is a motor.

As described above, in the present invention, both ends of the curved outer cutter are attached to the outer surface side of the outer cutter frame, so that the outer cutter frame is interposed between both ends of the outer cutter and the inner cutter. Therefore, even if force is applied from the side by pressing the side of the outer cutter against the skin, the movement of the inner cutter is restricted by the outer cutter frame, and for this reason, the attachment part of the outer cutter to the outer cutter frame Both ends do not receive a large load from the inner cutter, reducing wear on the outer cutter and reducing the risk of damage to the outer cutter. In addition, the radius of curvature of the outer cutter has been reduced to create a thinner profile. Even when attempting to reduce the thickness of the outer cutter, the thick outer cutter frame is not located outside both ends of the outer cutter, so the thickness can be effectively reduced.
