Some reciprocating electric shavers have an outer blade with numerous blade holes made of a thin, flexible metal plate and are attached to the outer blade frame in a curved state. A locking portion was provided on the inner surface of the outer cutter frame, and both ends of the curved outer cutter were locked to the locking portion. An example shown in US Pat. No. 4,660,283 is shown in FIG. In the figure, 1 is the outer cutter, and both ends are locking parts 2 formed on the inner surface of the outer cutter frame 2.
It is attached to the outer cutter frame 2 by being locked to the outer cutter frame 2. In the figure, reference numeral 4 denotes an inner cutter consisting of a base 41 and an inner cutter blade 40 attached to the base 41. In this case, when the inner cutter presses the outer cutter, which is in sliding contact with the inner surface, against the skin, if a force is applied from the side that crosses the reciprocating direction of the inner cutter, there will be a gap between the inner and outer surfaces of the outer cutter frame. The load from the inner cutter is applied to both ends of the outer cutter, which causes severe wear at both ends of the outer cutter, sometimes resulting in breakage of the outer cutter. In addition, the radius of curvature when curving the outer cutter cannot be made too small due to the material of the outer cutter and the degree of adhesion with the inner cutter, and there are restrictions on making the outer cutter thinner. The presence of the outer cutter frame on the outside of the blade makes it even more difficult to make the blade thinner, and when shaving in areas where the skin is uneven, such as under the chin, it is difficult to apply the blade to the skin, resulting in unshaved areas. In order to eliminate such problems, a structure disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 72680/1983 has been proposed. In this case, both ends of the outer cutter are held between the outer surface of the outer cutter frame and a holding member attached to this outer surface. In this case, since the outer cutter frame is interposed between both ends of the inner cutter and the outer cutter, the load applied to the outer cutter is reduced, and the thickness of the outer cutter can be easily reduced.

However, in the device disclosed in the above-mentioned publication, since the clamping member is made of synthetic resin, it is not possible to provide sufficient strength to the outer cutter frame when making the outer cutter frame thinner, and the clipping member protrudes from the clamping member. The clamping member can be attached to the outer surface of the outer cutter frame by simply inserting and engaging the protrusions that have been inserted into the outer cutter frame. There is a high possibility that the blade will float and cause rattling, and in the worst case, there is a risk that the clamping member will come off from the outer cutter frame. The present invention has been made in view of these points, and its purpose is to reliably attach the outer cutter end to the outer surface of the outer cutter frame in order to prevent damage to the outer cutter and reduce its thickness. To provide a reciprocating electric shaver which is capable of providing the outer cutter frame with sufficient strength.

Therefore, the present invention provides an electric shaver in which both ends of the curved outer cutter are attached to the outer surface side of the outer cutter frame, in which a thin plate-shaped blade is provided to sandwich the end of the outer cutter between the outer cutter frame and the outer surface of the outer cutter frame. Equipped with a metal clamping member,
The clamping member has a protrusion forming a groove on its inner surface, and a positioning protrusion that is provided on the outer surface of the outer cutter frame and is inserted and locked into a positioning hole formed in the outer cutter is fitted into the groove, and the holding member has a protrusion that forms a groove on the outer surface of the outer cutter frame. The part is pre-curved so that it curves convexly toward the outer cutter frame, and both ends are provided with mounting pieces that are passed through the mounting holes provided in the outer cutter frame and bent on the inner surface of the outer cutter frame, so that they can be slid onto the inner surface of the outer cutter. An outer cutter frame is interposed between the inner cutter, which has the inner cutter blade attached to the base, and both ends of the outer cutter, and the upper end of the clamping member is positioned closer to the top of the outer cutter than the outer cutter frame and to the outer surface of the outer cutter. It is characterized by protruding along the length. [Function] According to the present invention, even if force is applied from the side by pressing the side surface of the outer cutter against the skin, there is no force between the inner cutter and both ends of the outer cutter where it is attached to the outer cutter frame. Due to the presence of the outer cutter frame, both ends of the outer cutter do not receive large loads from the inner cutter.
In addition, the outer cutter frame, which must be thick to some extent due to strength issues, is located inside the outer cutter, and the only thing located outside the outer cutter is a thin plate-shaped clamping member, making it thinner. Furthermore, the whiskers introduced into the blade hole of the outer cutter near the upper end of the clamping member will not be strained and pulled between the upper end of the outer cutter frame. . In addition, although the clamping member is thin plate-like, it is made of metal and has protrusions that function as reinforcing ribs, so the strength of the outer cutter frame can be increased. This clamping member has a predetermined warp direction and is attached to the outer cutter frame by the mounting pieces at both ends, and is also done by bending the mounting pieces, making it easy to fix the clamping member to the outer cutter frame. It is possible to create a state in which no sagging occurs. Embodiment The present invention will be described in detail below based on an illustrated embodiment. One embodiment is shown in FIGS. 1 to 3. The outer cutter 1, in which a large number of cutter holes 10 are formed, is formed of a thin flexible metal plate, and a plurality of positioning holes 11 are provided at each end of the outer cutter 1. The outer cutter frame 2 that holds the outer cutter 1 is formed of a holding frame 20 and a mounting frame 25 here. The holding frame 20 is provided with a plurality of positioning protrusions 21a and 21b on the outer surface of both sides thereof, and is also provided with a through hole 22, and is further provided with outer connecting portions 23 on both end surfaces. The positioning protrusions 21a, 2 of the holding frame 20 are inserted into the positioning holes 11 at both ends thereof.
1b is inserted, thin plate-like mounting plates 3 are placed on each end portion, so that it is attached to the holding frame 20 in a curved state. The mounting plate 3 here has holding frames 2 on both ends thereof.
0 through the through hole 22 and bent on the inner surface side of the holding frame 20.
The outer cutter 1 is held between the outer surface of the holding frame 20 and the outer cutter 1 is provided with a groove 31 on the side facing the holding frame 20 for allowing the plurality of positioning protrusions 21a and 21b to escape. Incidentally, since this groove 31 forms a protrusion on the surface side of the mounting plate 3, it also contributes to improving the strength of the mounting plate 3. On the other hand, the mounting frame 25 in the outer blade frame 2 is
It is attached to the main body 5 in which the motor and the drive element 50 that converts the rotation of the motor into reciprocating motion are housed, and the connection provided in the holding frame 20 is connected to the engagement grooves 26 formed at the top of both ends of the main body 5. Part 2
3 is inserted, and the hook 24 in the connecting part 23
By engaging, the holding frame 20 is connected. However, in this electric shaver, the inner cutter 4, which is made up of an inner cutter blade 40, a base 41, and a joint 42 and is attached to the driver 50, is pressed against the outer cutter 1 while being biased by a push-up spring 51. By slidingly contacting the inner surface, the hair introduced into the interior from the outer blade hole 10 is cut.
As is clear from the figure, there is a holding frame 2 in the outer cutter frame 2 between both ends of the outer cutter 1 and the inner cutter 4.
0, as shown by the arrow in FIG. 1, even if force is applied to the outer cutter 1 and the inner cutter 4 from the lateral direction when pressing against the skin, the base 41 of the inner cutter 4 By contacting the upper inner surface of the holding frame 20, the movement of the inner cutter 4 in the left-right direction in the figure is restricted. Therefore, an excessive load is not applied to the outer cutter 1,
This prevents the outer cutter 1 from being damaged. Note that the positioning protrusions 21a on the holding frame 20,
A pair of positioning protrusions 21 at both ends of 21b
As for a and 21a, the height thereof is of course greater than the thickness t of the outer cutter 1, and as shown in FIG. By making the thickness t or less, the outer cutter 1 is prevented from coming off. Moreover, the reason why these positioning protrusions 21a, 21a are two at both ends is because
This is to allow the mounting plate 3 to be mounted substantially parallel even if the distance g is almost zero or the height of the positioning protrusion 21a is greater than the depth of the groove 31. Furthermore, the mounting plate 3 is provided with a warp in advance as shown by arrow A in FIG. As shown in FIG. 2, the mounting plate 3 protrudes upward from the holding frame 20 by an amount indicated by β in the figure, and the mounting plate 3 is fitted into the blade hole 10 near the upper end of the mounting plate 3. This prevents the introduced whiskers from being strained and pulled between them and the upper end of the holding frame 20. In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the outer cutter frame 2 is formed from a single member without being divided into both the holding frame 20 and the mounting frame 25, and is subjected to lateral forces. The movement of the inner 4 at the time is the outer blade frame 2
A portion of the joint 42 facing the inner surface of the outer cutter frame 2 at a booth angle contacts the outer cutter frame 2, thereby restricting the cutter frame 2. The outer cutter frame 2 may be formed integrally with the main body 5. In the figure, 21 is a positioning protrusion. As described above, the outer cutter 1 whose both ends are fixed to the outer surface side of the outer cutter frame 2 has a form shown in FIG. It is preferable to have an arcuate cross-section and to make the second moment of area of the central portion 1a smaller than that of the other portions so that the bending rigidity is lowered. The bending rigidity can be changed by, for example, making the width of the part of the crosspiece between the blade holes 10 in the central part 1a narrower than the width of the crosspiece in other parts, or by changing the thickness of the central part 1a to the thickness of other parts. This can be achieved by making the hole smaller or by making the aperture ratio, which is the percentage of the blade hole 10 open, larger in the central portion 1a. Furthermore, the outer cutter 1 when the outer cutter 1 is attached to the outer cutter frame.
As shown in FIG. 7, the shape of the inner blade 40 of the inner cutter 4 is such that the radius of curvature r gradually increases from the center part A to the end part K. The radius of curvature is made to gradually increase toward the end. In this case, the push-up spring 5 disposed inside the driver 50
Due to the spring biasing of the inner cutter 4 toward the inner surface of the outer cutter 1 by the inner cutter 1, the inner cutter blade 40 gradually comes into contact with the end portions from the center thereof, so that only a small pushing force is required. If the bending rigidity of the outer cutter 1 is lowered at the center as described above, even if the push-up force is further reduced, the radius of curvature at the center when the outer cutter 1 is attached to the outer cutter frame 2 will be Even if the outer cutter 1 and the inner cutter blade 4 are considerably smaller, the degree of adhesion between the outer cutter 1 and the inner cutter blade 4 can be made good with a small push-up force, and cutting performance can be improved. The sliding resistance between the blade and the blade 4 can be reduced. In addition, reducing the radius of curvature
Although the overall thickness can be reduced, in the case of the present invention, both ends of the outer cutter 1 are attached to the outer cutter frame 2 on the outer surface side of the outer cutter frame 2,
Moreover, the thickness of the mounting plate 3, which is a clamping member that clamps both ends of the outer cutter between it and the outer surface of the outer cutter frame 2, is thin and there is no thick member on the outside of both ends of the outer cutter 1. Therefore, it is more effective to make it thin, and it is possible to shave even in uneven areas such as under the chin and around the Adam's apple without leaving any residue. To specifically explain the shape of the inner blade 40 corresponding to the outer blade 1, the curve drawn by the cutting edge of the inner blade 40 points the top of the inner blade 40 to the origin of the XY coordinates, as shown in FIG. In the case of Therefore, the shape is expressed by a high-order polynomial, and the I section in which the cutting edge is formed is a curve that approximates a sixth-order polynomial. Inner blade 4
When the slope of the tangent to the cutting edge at 0 is θ, this slope θ
This is to obtain a shape in which the curve increases monotonically as it moves away from the top of the inner blade 40, that is, a curve indicated by A in FIG. 9. When drawing the curves indicated by B and C, there will be inflection points at locations A and B in the figure, and a gap will occur between the curves and the outer cutter 1 at these locations. Now, when providing the outer cutter 1 that is thinner as described above, one surface of the outer cutter 1 is substantially flush with the front surface of the main body 5, as shown in FIGS. It is preferable that the other surface of the outer cutter 1 is tilted significantly forward (α), that is, the top of the outer cutter 1 is positioned largely toward the front side of the main body 5. The top part of the main body 5, which has the best sharpness and the highest cutting efficiency, is where the thumb of the hand holding the main body 5 rests when shaving while holding the main body 5.
Since it is located at approximately the same position as the front surface, the user can perform shaving work while clearly recognizing the position of the top, and can ensure that the top of the outer blade 1 hits the desired area. This device allows you to shave your beard, and since the distance between the trimmer blade 55 arranged on the front side of the main body 5 and the top of the outer blade 1 is shortened, it is possible to shave while operating the switch handles 56 and 57. It becomes easy to use the trimmer blade 55 for shaving with the blade 1 and the inner cutter 4 and the trimmer blade 55. 58 in FIG. 11 is a motor.

As described above, in the present invention, both ends of the outer cutter are held between the outer surface of the outer cutter frame and the thin plate-shaped holding member, and both ends of the outer cutter are attached to the outer cutter frame on the outer surface side of the outer cutter frame. The outer blade frame is interposed between the inner blade attached to the base and both ends of the outer blade, so that the side surface of the outer blade is pressed against the skin. As a result, even if force is applied from the side, the movement of the inner cutter is restricted by the outer cutter frame, and for this reason, both ends of the outer cutter, which are the attachment points to the outer cutter frame, are subject to a large load from the inner cutter. This reduces wear on the outer cutter and reduces the risk of damage to the outer cutter. Also, when trying to make the outer cutter thinner by reducing the radius of curvature of the outer cutter, Since the thin plate-shaped clamping member is located on the outside of both ends, rather than the thick outer cutter frame, it is possible to effectively reduce the thickness of the clamping member. Because the top side of the outer cutter protrudes along the outer surface of the outer cutter than the outer cutter frame,
The beard introduced into the blade hole of the outer cutter near the upper end of the holding member is not twisted and pulled between the upper end of the outer cutter frame, and a comfortable shave can be performed. Furthermore, although the clamping member is thin, it is made of metal and has protrusions that function as reinforcing ribs, which increases the strength of the outer cutter frame and increases the outer cutter frame's strength. The outer cutter frame will not be damaged even if a large force is applied to the outer cutter frame, such as when holding both sides of the cutter frame in the longitudinal or lateral direction with fingers, and this pinching will not cause damage to the outer cutter frame. Since the member is attached at both ends by the pre-given warp direction and the attachment piece to the outer cutter frame, and by bending the attachment piece, it is possible to fix the clamping member to the outer cutter frame without lifting or rattling. It is possible to reliably create a state in which this does not occur.
