Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 産業上の利用分野 本発明は請求項１の上位概念に記載のエンドプロテーゼ
に関する。
従来の技術 この種のエンドプロテーゼにあっては、強力な負荷がか
かった場合に、表面被膜層が摩耗し易いという問題があ
る。このことは、移植の際にプロテーゼを打ち込まなけ
ればならないような場合、又はプロテーゼがその他の形
式で強力な表面摩擦に曝されるような場合に、特に不利
である。
このような場合には、ヒドロキシルアパタイト層の摩耗
が、該層の装着によって得られた利点を消滅式せてしま
り。
発明が解決しようとする課題 本発明の課題は冒頭で述べた形式のエンドプロテーゼを
改良して、移植の際、表面応力に対してヒドロキシルア
パタイト層を保護することができるようなプロテーゼを
提供することにある。
課題を解決するための手段 上記課題は請求項１に記載の特徴によって解決すること
ができた。
発明の効果 本発明の特に有利な点は、本発明の対策により、プロテ
ーゼの嵌合状態もこの形式で改善されること、又骨格構
造内に強力な保合が実現されるということである。
目視可能な構造体が有利には角錐体を々していて、その
太き畑が０．５ｍｍ２から１．５ｍｍ２までの底面積を
有し、かつ角錐体が３０μｍから１００μｍの間の膜厚
のヒドロキシルアパタイト被膜層を備えているような場
合に、特に有利である。
プロテーゼ内に力を導き入れようとするこの考え方は、
傾斜面によって発生する（圧縮、引張及び剪断力の）複
合応力が、母材に対する結合層の純粋な剥離応力及び剪
断応力を減少せしめるという点で、極めて優れた考え方
である。このような形式で、プロテーゼ母材−有利には
チタン−と被膜層との間の結合部の寿命を著しく延長す
ることができる。その結果、移植特性が改善され、その
ために移植期間が延長でき、かつ再手術を避けることが
できるようになる。
角錐形又に円錐形の高地部がその脚部領域内で直接隣接
している場合が、癒着にとっては特に好都合である。こ
のような場合には、被覆面は谷間領域内で、プロテーゼ
の全表面の方向に対して、被覆面の傾斜が２倍の角度に
相当するような角度で隣接することになる。このような
形式で骨格材料とプロテーゼの表面との間の付着力が促
進されて、恰かも両材料がほぼ等しい（対称的な）表面
形状で互いに係合するかのようになシ、負荷時に係合す
る力が比較的大きな面領域に移行せしめられるようにな
る。その際両材料の局部的な負荷は、夫々他の材料の方
向に分解せしめられ、その分解の程度は、夫々支持に使
用きれる断面積の大きさにほぼ一致している。
本発明のその他の有利な構成が、請求項２以下に述べら
れている。
実施例 本発明の実施例を図面に示し、次にこれを詳二しく説明
する。
第１図には目視可能な角錐構造体の１部分が示されてお
シ、その際４つの側部の角錐体１から６までが、等しい
大きさで移植体７の表面を密に覆っている。角錐面は、
プロテーゼの主平面と１なっている角錐体の基面と、は
ぼ５０°の角度を形成している。この角度は要請によっ
て変えることができ、角度が大きくなれば表面の強度は
高くなる。ヒドロキシルアパタイトから成る被膜層は約
５０μｍの厚さを有している。
本発明の利点は、移植された状態で力が、プロテーゼの
癒着の際にヒドロキシルアパタイトの分解によって著し
く改善てれて導入されるという点にある。特に複合応力
の際には、面が基面に対して傾斜しているため、母材に
対する結合層の剥離応力及び剪断応力を減少させること
ができる。
第２図に図示の断面図から、プロテーゼ主平面７の方向
に延びる剪断力８が、角錐状の配置によシ角錐表面に対
して鉛直に作用する力成分９と、小でくなった剪断力成
分１０とに分解せしめられることが判る。被覆層が吸収
てれた後の被膜層乃至は肉体組織の付着力は、表面のポ
ロシティによって更に支持されることになる。
第２図には被覆層１１が、非縮尺状に拡大きれて図示て
れている。
本発明はその構成が、前述の有利な実施例に限定される
ものではない。寧ろ基本的には別種の構成でろっても、
前述の解決法により使用可能な多数の変化態様が考えら
れる。

Claims (5)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. １．ヒドロキシルアパタイトから成る表面被膜層を備え
    たエンドプロテーゼであつて、目視可能な構造を備えた
    領域が設けられており、該領域は、目視可能な構造を有
    する面の平面に対して４５゜から６０゜までの範囲内の
    角度だけ傾斜している平面のみを有していることを特徴
    とするエンドプロテーゼ。
  2. ２．円錐体又は角錐体から成る構造体が基体として存在
    していることを特徴とする、請求項１記載のプロテーゼ
    。
  3. ３．円錐体又は角錐体がほぼ０．５ｍｍ＾２から１．５
    ｍｍ＾２までの底面積を有することを特徴とする、請求
    項２記載のプロテーゼ。
  4. ４．被膜層が３０μｍから１００μｍの厚さを有するこ
    とを特徴とする、請求項１から６までのいずれか１項記
    載のプロテーゼ。
  5. ５．傾斜面が、高地部を形成する谷間領域内で直接隣接
    していることを特徴とする、請求項１から４までのいず
    れか１項記載のプロテーゼ。
