Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce running agent ratio and to increase a projection height of special section patterns by controlling respective drafting amounts in work roll stands in the final stage and in the preceding stage by following a decided procedure. CONSTITUTION:At rolling for a range of 3-10m length in the top part of a steel sheet, a drafting amount in a work roll stand FL is reduced than a usually required amount and drafting amount in a work roll stand FL-1 in the preceding stage is increased than a usually required amount. Then, for a period of time from bitting the steel sheet top to a time after a required period of time passed, a roll gap amount is maintained and the top part of 3-10m length passes through in the required period of time. After passage of the steel sheet top range, a draft amount in the work roll stand FL is increased and a draft amount in the preceding stage roll stand FL-1 is reduced in correspondence to the increased amount in the stand FL to obtain a product thickness of required value. Hence, running against ratio of a strip generated in initial rolling time is reduced and a projection height of a special section patterns is increased.

[Detailed description of the invention] Industrial field of application The present invention relates to an improvement in a method for manufacturing a steel plate with a modified cross section in which a modified cross section is processed in the final rolling stage of hot rolling, and in which the reduction amount of a work roll stand and its preceding stand is controlled. The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a steel plate with a modified cross section, which can significantly reduce the overhang ratio of the strip material that occurs in the initial stage of rolling, and increase the height of the irregular cross section protrusions.

BACKGROUND TECHNOLOGY Deformed cross-section steel plates are widely used for floor plates, reinforcing plates, architectural plates, structural plates, and pipes, and the shape or pattern applied to the main surface depends on the purpose and application. There are various types depending on the manufacturing method.

On the other hand, the product with the diamond pattern having a spread angle of 90° can be used as a product in both the rolling direction and the direction orthogonal to the rolling direction, and is convenient and useful in terms of application. When the spread angle of the pattern exceeds 85°, the amount of material removed from the work roll during manufacturing becomes large, making mass production difficult.

Problems with the conventional technology When rolling a steel plate with an irregular cross section that has continuous protrusions diagonal to the rolling direction, the plate tends to wrap around the rolls, and the strip material that wraps around the rolls during rolling gets stuck on the rolling line. There has been a problem in that the frequency of troubles such as so-called bumping against guides and the like increases.

Summary of the Invention The present invention was developed as a result of various studies aimed at preventing the band material from wrapping around the work roll for processing irregular-shaped end faces and improving product value. is only at the tip of the strip, and after passing the tip, even if the strip wraps around the roll, a force acts in the direction of pulling it apart due to the weight of the plate, and the strip does not jump up significantly. The present invention was completed based on the finding that the object could be achieved by changing the amount of reduction of the front roll.

This invention provides a method for manufacturing a steel plate with a modified cross section in which a modified cross-section is processed in the final rolling stage of hot rolling, which requires a reduction amount in a work roll stand for processing a modified end surface when rolling a steel plate tip in a range of 3 to 10 m. The rolling amount of the non-processing roll stand in the previous stage of the work roll stand is made larger than the required normal amount, and after passing through the tip range, the rolling amount of the work roll stand is increased, and the product thickness is increased. This is a method for producing a modified cross-section steel plate, characterized in that the reduction amount of the front roll stand is decreased in accordance with the amount of increase in the reduction amount of the work roll stand in order to achieve the required value.

In other words, the present invention only covers the required tip end of the strip material.
The above-mentioned wrapping can be prevented by reducing the amount of reduction by the work roll and increasing the amount of reduction by the previous roll.Furthermore, after the tip has passed, by increasing the amount of reduction by the work roll and by increasing the amount of reduction by the previous roll. The method is characterized in that rolling is performed so as to increase the height of the protrusions of the irregular cross-section steel sheet by reducing the amount of rolling.

Figure 1 shows an example of a change in the roll gap amount in each roll stand of FL-1 and FL, that is, a change pattern in the rolling reduction. Assuming that the standard roll gap amount in the previous stage is s-1 and S, the roll gap amount of the rolling roll stand (FL-1) is smaller than 8-1 at time a before the tip of the steel plate is bitten, and the workpiece Roll stand (FL

Next, the roll gap amount is maintained from the time when the tip of the steel plate is bitten (time b) until after the required time has elapsed (time C). During this required time, the tip of the steel plate passes by 3 to 10 m.

If the length of the tip of the steel plate is less than 3 m, there is a possibility that the tip will wrap around the work roll, and if the length exceeds 10 m, the yield will decrease, which is undesirable. In C), in order to increase the rolling reduction amount of the work roll stand (FL) and to make the product thickness the required value, the front roll stand (FL-1) is installed in accordance with the increase in the rolling reduction amount of the work roll stand (FL). Reduce the amount of reduction.

The purpose of changing the roll gap of the rolling roll stand (FL-1) mentioned above is to prevent the thickness of the finished product from becoming thinner when only the work roll stand (FL) is tightened. By manufacturing the above-mentioned irregular cross-section steel plate according to the present invention, the protrusion ratio can be reduced to 1l10 compared to the conventional one, and the portions with low protrusion heights that have no product value can also be significantly reduced. The irregular cross-section steel plate with a diamond pattern (not shown in Figure 4) has a diamond pattern spread angle of 5° to 90' and a rib peak height of 2 m.
m~6mm, the contact angle with the steel plate at the bottom of the rib crest is 120°
Above, the distance between the intersections in the short diagonal direction of the diamond pattern is 50 mm
In order to satisfy the above specific conditions specified by the inventor, it was possible to increase the height of the ribs while preventing the steel plate from wrapping around the work roll compared to the conventional method.

However, as shown in FIG. 3, the occurrence rate of bumping suddenly increases when the amount of reduction in the work roll is about 6 mm. Therefore, it is understood that it is important to suppress the amount of reduction at the tip of the plate to 6 mm or less.
