け、ソーチエン13を駆動する。また第3図に示
す如く、ソーチエン13を案内するための案内板
12をクランクケース7側でボルト14,14に
よつて締着される。案内板12の取付面には後述
する潤滑油ポンプからの給油孔15を連通開口し
て案内板のソーチエン摺動溝Sに連通し案内板の
油孔16を介して連通口17が形成されている。
従来のチエンソー給油の目的は、案内板周辺を摺
走するソーチエンの潤滑と、鋸断中の負荷による
過熱防止である。しかし乍ら過乗の給油は鋸断く
ずを湿潤させて、随所に固結推積を起して汚損や
通風の阻害、その他の故障の原因となり好しくな
く、不経済であるだけでなくそのための対策が必
要である。従来は給油ポンプがクランク軸による
カム駆動を受けてポンプ作動による給油が行われ
た。従つて複雑な構造のポンプ装置や、これらに
対する調量装置が設けられていた。

整備の容易等、多くの実用的効果を期待すること
ができる。
