Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明は、着用使い捨て吸収性物品に関し、さらに詳し
くは、人体股部に着用する使い捨てオムツ、使い捨て失
禁パッド、使い捨てトレーニングパンツなどの物品に関
する。１ 〔従来の技術〕 従来、着用使い捨て吸収性物品、たとえば、使い捨てオ
ムツにおいて、液不透過性のサイドフラップにおける充
分なシール性を確保するため、該サイドフラップの外側
縁近傍に第１の弾性部材と、該第１の弾性部材と液吸収
性のコアの側縁との間に第２の弾性部材とを配置したも
のが、特開昭６２−２５０２０１号、同６３−２１９０
１号に開示されている。
これら公知技術においては、前記第２の弾性部材は、前
記サイドフラップから分岐する第２のサイドフラップの
自由端に取り付けである。また、前記第２のサイドフラ
ップは、その縦方向端部を内側または外側へ倒して固定
しである。
一方、使い捨てオムツにおいて、液不透過性のサイドフ
ラップにおける充分なシール性を確保するため、該サイ
ドフラップに取り付けた弾性部材を、その収縮下に、該
サイドフラップの一部を構成するトップシートを上方へ
弾性で押し上げるような特殊な断面形に形成したものが
、特開昭５７−８９６０２号、実開昭６２−８８７０４
号に開示されている。
これらの特殊な断面形は、倒Ｕ形、Ω形、Ω形などであ
って、前記サイドフラップを構成するトップシートとバ
ックシートの両方に接合しである。
〔発明が解決しようとする課題〕
前記特開昭６２−２５０２０１号、同６３−２１９０１
号における技術では、第２のサイドフラップを形成し、
これに第２の弾性部材を取り付け、かつ、該第２のサイ
ドフラップの縦方向両端部を内側または外側へ倒して固
定するので、サイドフラップの構造が複雑であり、その
ため物品製造工程が複雑でコスト高になることは避けら
れない。
一方、前記特開昭５７−８９６０２号、実開昭６２−８
８７０４号では、弾性部材の断面形を特殊な形に形成す
るので、該弾性部材のサイドフラップへの取り付は作業
性に難点があり、しかも該弾性部材を比較的広幅に形成
する必要から材料のコスト高は避けられない。また、前
記弾性部材は、前記サイドフラップを構成するトップシ
ートとバックシートの両方に固定しながら、該弾性部材
の特殊形でトップシートを上方へ押し上げるので、その
押し上げ高さは該弾性部材の幅や高さ（断面径の大きさ
）で制約され、したがって、その押し上げ高さを増大し
てシール性を向上するためには、前記材料のコスト高に
もかかわらず、その幅や断面形を大きくする必要がある
。
本発明の目的は、きわめて簡単な手段で前記各公知技術
における課題を一挙に解決することができる着用使い捨
て吸収性物品を提供することにある。
〔課題を解決するための手段〕
前記目的を達成するため、本発明は、液透過性のトップ
シートと、液不透過性のバックシートと、該雨シート間
に介在する液吸収性コアと、該コアの両側縁から延出す
る液不透過性のサイドフラップと、該サイドフラップの
外側縁近傍に取り付けた第１の弾性部材と、該第１の弾
性部材と前記コアの側縁近傍との間に取り付けた第２の
弾性部材とを含む着用使い捨て吸収性物品を対象とする
。
前記サイドフラップは、使用者の肌が接する面に位置す
る第１のシートと、該第１のシートの下面に重ね合せら
れた防液性の第２のシートとから構成され、前記第２の
弾性部材は、前記第１のシートと前記第２のシートとの
間に介在して前記第１のシートにのみ接合され、前記第
２の弾性部材の内側縁に最も近接して位置し、かつ、前
記第１のシートとこれに接合する別のシートとの第１の
接合手段と、前記第２の弾性部材の外側縁に最も近接し
て位置し、かつ、前記第１および第２のシートを互いに
接合する第２の接合手段とは互いに少なくとも２０ｒＩ
ｎ離れており、よって、前記第２の弾性部材の収縮下に
、該弾性部材が位置する前記第２のシート部分が前記第
１および第２の接合手段を支点として上方へ***する。
前記第１のシートは、通気防水性を有し、前記トップシ
ートとは別材から作られることができるし、そうしであ
ることが好ましい。
〔作用〕
前記構成によれば、前記物品を着用したとき、前記第１
および第２の弾性部材の収縮力でこれらが位置するサイ
ドフラップ部分が着用者の肌に圧接され、該部分と肌と
の間に有効な二重のシールが形成される。とくに第２の
弾性部材が位置する前記サイドフラップ部分、すなわち
、前記第１のシール部分は、該第２の弾性部材が収縮し
たとき。
前記第１および第２の接合手段を支点として上方に***
した状態で肌に圧接してシールを形成する。
したがって、***物、とくにその液がこの***による圧
接シール部を外側へ超えて前記第１の弾性部材による圧
接シール部側へ移行するのを最少にする。
〔実施例〕
第１図、第２図において、本発明の着用使い捨て吸収性
物品の一例としてのオムツを示しである。
オムツは、液透過性のトップシート１と、液不透過性の
バックシート２と、該両シート間に介在する液吸収性コ
ア３と、該コアの両側縁から延出する液不透過性のサイ
ドフラップ４と、該サイドフラップ中の縦方向に横方向
に所定間隔で配置した第１および第２の弾性部材５，６
と、テープファスナー７とを備えている６ サイドフラップ４は、好ましくは通気防液性を有し、コ
ア３の側縁近傍の上面におけるトップシート１から外側
へ延出している第１のシート８と、コア３の側縁から外
側へ延出して第１のシート８の下面に位置するバックシ
ート部分９（以下第２のシートという）から構成しであ
る。第１のシート８はコア３の外部を覆っていることが
漏れ防止のうえから好ましいが、トップシート１の下面
に位置していてもよく、また、第２のシート９の上面の
みを覆うようにしてあってもよい。第２のシート９は、
バックシート２とは別材で形成し、バックシート２に連
接してあってもよい。トップシート１と第１のシート８
、第１のシート８と第２のシート９とは、少なくとも、
接着剤、溶着などの縦方向に延びる接合手段１０．１１
．１２．１３で接合しである。第１の弾性部材５は、第
１および第２のシート８，９の外側縁近傍の間に介在し
、接合手段１４でそれらシートに接合しである。第２の
弾性部材６は、第１および第２のシート８，９間で、か
つ、接合手段１１．１２間のほぼ中央部に介在し、第１
のシート８にのみ接合手段１５で接合しである。
第３図において、第１および第２の弾性部材５゜６が収
縮している状態を示しである。第１の弾性部材５の収縮
力は、第１の弾性部材を第１および第２のシート８，９
の両方に接合しであるので、該第１および第２のシート
の両方に作用し、これらを上方へ弯曲させる。一方、第
２の弾性部材６の収縮力は、該第２の弾性部材を第１の
シート８にのみ接合しであるので、該第１のシートに作
用し、接合手段１１．１２間の該第１のシート部分を、
該面接合手段が支点となり、かつ、該第２の弾性部材が
位置する部位が頂点となるほぼ山形に上方に***する。
この***は高いほど好ましく、この高さは該第２の弾性
部材に最も近接して位置する接合手段１１．１２間の距
離に依存する。したがって、この***を所望高さになし
て本発明の目的を達成するためには、接合手段１１．１
２間の距離は２０ｍｍ以上にしであることが必要である
。この距離の最大限はとくに限定されないが、−量的に
は、サイドフラップ４の幅から考えて６０ｍａまでであ
る。これに加え、第２の弾性部材６の収縮性をよくする
ためには、該第２の弾性部材の内外側縁と接合手段１１
、１２とのそれぞれの間隔は少なくとも８ＩＩＩ１１で
あることが好ましい。第２の弾性部材６との最も近接す
る接合手段は、符号１１．１２の位置ではなく。
符号１０．１４の位置であってもよい。また、第２の弾
性部材６の幅、断面形、本数は任意であるが、該第２の
弾性部材は、前記***を限られた条件下で、可及的に高
くするためには、可及的に横方向範囲（幅）に集中する
ように配置しであることが好ましく、たとえば、それが
１本である場合には。
第３図に示すように、第１の弾性部材５よりも細いこと
が好ましい。こうしであると、前記***は、その頂点は
より鋭角になり、その結果より高くなるからである。第
１および第２の弾性部材の収縮応力は一般的には７０〜
７００ｇであり、その範囲であれば、第２の弾性部材６
の収縮応力は第１の弾性部材のそれよりも強くても弱く
てもよい。ちなみに、第２の弾性部材６それ自体の収縮
応力が第１の弾性部材５それ自体の収縮応力よりも弱く
ても。
該第２の弾性部材は、サイドフラップ４に取り付けた状
態では、第２のシート９には接合されないうえ、該第２
の弾性部材に最も近接する接合手段１１、１２の間隔を
少なくとも２０１ｍにしであるので、あまり拘束される
ことなく、第１の弾性部材５の収縮応力とほぼ同等の収
縮応力を有するようにすることができる。
トップシート１としては、不織布、多孔性プラスチック
フィルムなど、バックシート２としては、プラスチック
フィルム（好ましくは通気防水性を有するフィルム）、
該フィルムと不織布とのラミネートなど、コア３として
は、フラッフパルプに高吸収性ポリマー粒子を混合した
ものなどを使用することができる。
サイドフラップ４の一部を構成する第１のシート８とし
ては、通気防水性を有するシートが好ましく、こうした
シートとしては、疎水性繊維で構成したメルトボンド不
織布、スパンボンド不織布、ウォータージェットで繊維
交絡させた不織布、またはこれら不織布に撥水加工を施
したブーの、または疎水性プラスチックフィルムに微細
な多孔を付与したものなどを挙げることができる。ここ
に「通気」とは、ＪＩＳ　Ｌ　１００４による測定値が
２６０ｃｃ／ｄ以上であり、「防水」とは、ＪＩＳ　Ｌ
　１０９２による測定値が２０ｍｍ以上であるものを意
味する。また、第１のシート８の剛性は、クラーク式剛
度測定による縦方向値がｌθ〜８０ａｍのものが好まし
い。
第１および第２の弾性部材５，６としては、糸ゴム、ウ
レタンゴム、ウレタンフオームフィルムなど任意に使用
することができる。
〔発明の効果〕
本発明の物品は、上述したように、サイドフラップの外
側に位置する第１の弾性部材のほかに、該サイドフラッ
プの内側に第２の弾性部材を配置するとともに、該第２
の弾性部材を該サイドフラップの上面を構成する第１の
シートのみに接合し、しかも、該第２の弾性部材が収縮
したとき、該第２の弾性部材が位置する該第１のシート
部分が上方に充分に***するように、該第２の弾性部材
を両側において該第１のシートをその下面に位置するシ
ートに接合する両手段間の距離を設定しであるので、既
述した従来技術のように、第２のサイドフラップを設け
てこれに該第２の弾性部材を取り付けたり、該第２の弾
性部材の断面形を特殊な形に形成したりすることなく、
該技術と遜色ない***物の漏れ防止効果をうろことがで
きる。また、既述した従来技術とは異なり、構造がきわ
めて簡単で特別の工程を必要とせず、物品の生産性がき
わめて高く、低コストで供給することができる。
また、前記第１のシートは通気防水性を有しているので
、***液の漏れ防止性に優れるとともに通気性もえられ
、物品内部における蒸れを少なくすることができる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. （１）液透過性のトップシートと、液不透過性のバック
    シートと、該両シート間に介在する液吸収性コアと、該
    コアの両側縁から延出する液不透過性のサイドフラップ
    と、該サイドフラップの外側縁近傍に取り付けた第１の
    弾性部材と、該第１の弾性部材と前記コアの側縁近傍と

    下に、該弾性部材が位置する前記第２のシート部分が前
    記第１および第２の接合手段を支点として上方へ***す

  2. （２）請求項１記載の物品であって、前記第１のシート
    は、通気防水性を有し、前記トップシートとは別材から
    作られている前記物品。
