Claims (10)
- 予燃焼室点火プラグであって、
ハウジング(6)と、
少なくとも部分的に予燃焼室(2)を画定するキャップ(3)とを有しており、該キャップ(3)が複数の貫通孔(30)を有していて、これらの貫通孔(30)は、前記予燃焼室(2)と内燃機関の燃焼室(11)との間の接続部を形成するように設計されており、前記貫通孔(30)がそれぞれ1つの孔中心軸線(31)を有しており、
前記キャップ(3)が、前記ハウジング(6)に向けられた領域に肩部(32)を有していて、該肩部(32)が、前記ハウジング(6)の、燃焼室側の端部(60)で前記ハウジング(6)に当接しており、
前記貫通孔(30)の、前記孔中心軸線(31)上に位置する流出ポイント(33)から前記肩部(32)までの間隔(A)が2mm乃至7mmの範囲内にあって、
前記予燃焼室点火プラグの中心軸線(X-X)と前記孔中心軸線(31)との間の第1の角度(α)が30°乃至70°の範囲内にあり、
前記間隔(A)が、組み立てられた状態で前記燃焼室(11)内の燃料の円錐形噴霧(80)の最も近くに位置するように設計された前記貫通孔(30)で定められている、
予燃焼室点火プラグ。 - 前記間隔(A)が4mm乃至7mmの範囲内にあって、前記第1の角度(α)が30°乃至50°の範囲にあるか、または
前記間隔(A)が5mm乃至7mmの範囲内にあって、前記第1の角度(α)が30°乃至40°の範囲内にある、請求項1記載の予燃焼室点火プラグ。 - すべての前記貫通孔(30)は、これらの貫通孔(30)の、前記孔中心軸線(31)上に位置するそれぞれの流出ポイント(33)が、1つの共通の平面(E)に位置する、請求項1または2記載の予燃焼室点火プラグ。
- 前記貫通孔(30)は、タンブル流(16)の一部が前記貫通孔(30)内に直接流入するように、組み立てられた状態において前記燃焼室(11)内で前記タンブル流(16)に向けて方向付けされるように、設計されている、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の予燃焼室点火プラグ。
- 前記貫通孔(30)の前記孔中心軸線(31)と、前記ハウジング(6)の外ねじ(4)のねじ始端部(40)と、前記中心軸線(X-X)とが、1つの共通の平面に位置している、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載の予燃焼室点火プラグ。
- 内燃機関であって、
燃焼室(11)と、
往復運動するピストン(12)と、
燃料を前記燃焼室(11)内に供給するためのインジェクタ(8)と、
請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載の予燃焼室点火プラグ(1)と、
を有する内燃機関。 - 前記インジェクタ(8)の円錐形噴霧(80)の中心軸線(81)が、前記予燃焼室点火プラグ(1)の中心軸線(X-X)に対して、30°乃至70°の範囲内の第2の角度(β)を成している、請求項6記載の内燃機関。
- 前記インジェクタ(8)の円錐形噴霧(80)の中心軸線(81)が、前記予燃焼室点火プラグ(1)の中心軸線(X-X)に対して、60°の第2の角度(β)を成している、請求項6または7記載の内燃機関。
- 前記燃焼室(11)内でタンブル流(16)が生ぜしめられ、前記タンブル流(16)は、このタンブル流(16)の少なくとも一部が、前記燃焼室(11)内の円錐形噴霧の最も近くに位置する、前記予燃焼室点火プラグ(1)の貫通孔(30)に直接向けられるように生ぜしめられる、請求項6から8までのいずれか1項記載の内燃機関。
- 前記予燃焼室点火プラグ(1)が前記燃焼室(11)の概ね中央に配置されていて、前記インジェクタ(8)が、前記燃焼室(11)で前記予燃焼室点火プラグ(1)に対して側方に配置されている、請求項6から9までのいずれか1項記載の内燃機関。
