The problem that this invention aims to solve is to provide a gaming machine that can execute interesting selection presentations.
The gaming machine of the present invention, which has been made to solve the above problems, is capable of executing a selection effect in which a plurality of options are presented, in which the player can select one of the plurality of options at his/her own discretion, and an automatic selection effect in which at least one of the plurality of options is the same type as the optional selection effect, in which one of the plurality of options is automatically selected, and is characterized in that the probability of an event advantageous to the player occurring after the effect ends is higher when the automatic selection effect occurs than when the optional selection effect occurs.
The gaming machine of the present invention is capable of implementing interesting selection effects.
1) Basic Configuration of the Gaming Machine Hereinafter, one embodiment of the gaming machine 1 (pachinko gaming machine) according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. First, the overall configuration of the
The
The
In such a
Note that we will not explain components of the
本実施形態では、始動領域904として、第一始動領域904a(いわゆる「特図1」の始動領域)と第二始動領域904b(いわゆる「特図2」の始動領域)が設けられている。
The lottery for the big win is executed by a winning/losing lottery means provided on a control board (not shown) when a game ball enters the
In this embodiment, as the
The maximum number of pre-change reserved information is limited. In this embodiment, the maximum number of first pre-change reserved information (
In this embodiment, as in known gaming machines, the result of the lottery is notified to the player based on the combination of decorative symbols 80 (see FIG. 2) displayed in the
In addition, images (so-called "small symbols" or the like) showing various information may be displayed unobtrusively near the outer edge of the first display area 111 (illustration of such images is omitted in each figure). The player can enjoy the game without being aware of this type of image. In other words, it is basically possible to understand the results of the lottery by looking at the
In this embodiment, a normal game state and a special game state are set as game states (see FIG. 3). The special game state is a game state that is more advantageous to the player than the normal game state. The normal game state is a low-probability game state in which the probability of winning a jackpot is low, and is a low base state (low probability, no time reduction) in which the game ball is unlikely to enter the
In this embodiment, the special game state is entered after all jackpot games have ended. The special game state ends when the winning/losing lottery results are a miss a predetermined number of times (for example, 100 times). When the special game state ends, the normal game state is entered. If the jackpot is won before the predetermined number of consecutive misses after the transition to the special game state, the game state will transition again to the special game state (the count of the predetermined number of times will be reset). In other words, the
When the winning/losing lottery result is a jackpot, a jackpot game is executed. A jackpot game is a unit game in which the jackpot area 906 (see FIG. 1; the
2) Combined Performance The
In this embodiment, the
The
The
The
In the pre-addition state (see FIG. 4(a)), the first numerical value N1 is displayed in the
After the pre-combination state, before the post-combination state, the state becomes an intermediate state (see FIG. 4(b)). Specifically, the

The basic pattern is to proceed in this manner.
In (1), the first numerical value N1 and the second numerical value N2 are displayed, and then in (2), the
There are various ways to use the summation effect. Basically, it is sufficient if it is a scene in which two numerical values are added together and displayed. In this embodiment, it is used to indicate the profit obtained by the player in the jackpot game that is executed when the result of the winning/losing lottery is a jackpot. The profit represents the number of game balls (number of prize balls) obtained by entering (winning) the
One of the first number N1 and the second number N2 represents a single profit, and the other represents a total profit. In this embodiment, the first number N1 represents a single profit, and the second number N2 represents a total profit. The single profit represents the profit obtained in the most recent jackpot game (hereinafter, sometimes referred to as the most recent jackpot game) before the combined effect is executed. The total profit is the sum of the profits obtained in one or more jackpot games executed before the most recent jackpot game after the establishment of a predetermined condition. In this embodiment, winning a jackpot in the normal game state and transitioning to the special game state (obtaining the so-called first win) is considered to be the establishment of a predetermined condition. Specifically, the total profit is the sum of the profits obtained by winning a jackpot after transitioning to the special game state, that is, the profits during the so-called consecutive wins. The profit obtained in the first win may or may not be included in the total profit. In this embodiment, the total profit includes the profit obtained in the first win. The total profit is reset when the game transitions to normal play (when the winning streak ends).
The combined effect is executed during the ending period after the final unit play (final round) of the jackpot game won in the special game state has ended. During the jackpot game before the combined effect is started, the effect for the jackpot game (the effect for the jackpot game) is executed in the area of the
After the final round is over, the combined effect starts. At the beginning of the combined effect (before the combined effect), the single profit obtained in the jackpot game (last jackpot game) that has just ended in the final round is displayed as the first number N1 on the first display device 11 (first display area 111). After the first win, the total profit obtained by adding up the profits obtained in one or more jackpot games obtained in the special game state before the last jackpot is displayed as the second number N2 on the second display device 12 (second display area 121) located in the standby position (see FIG. 5(b)). In this embodiment, the second number N2 is displayed before the combined effect starts. In other words, the player can grasp the total profit (second number N2) even during the last jackpot game and before the combined effect starts.
Then, the
In this embodiment, in the combined state, an image (explanatory image 15) for explaining the combined value Nt displayed on the second display device 12 (second display area 121) is displayed in the
The following describes specific examples of improvements, specific embodiments, and modifications to the combined effects described above. Note that, to the extent possible, multiple combinations of the techniques described using the following specific examples may be used in the configuration.

Specific example 1-2
In the above embodiment, in the total presentation, the total value Nt is displayed on the second display device 12 (second display area 121), as explained above. However, the total value Nt can also be displayed on the first display device 11 (first display area 111) as described below.
The state before the combination (see FIG. 6(a)) to the intermediate state (see FIG. 6(b)) is the same as the above embodiment. After the

Specific example 1-3
It is assumed that the change in the numerical value displayed on the second display device 12 (second display area 121) is shown from the intermediate state to the summed state. In the intermediate state, the second numerical value N2 is displayed on the second display device 12 (see FIG. 7(b)). In the summed state, the summed numerical value Nt is displayed on the second display device 12 (see FIG. 7(d)). In other words, from the intermediate state to the summed state, the numerical value displayed on the
The increase presentation may be in any form that allows the player to recognize that the combined number Nt has been reached as a result of the increase in the second number N2. For example, the second number N2 may increase slowly by one at the beginning of the increase presentation (see FIG. 7(c)), and the increase rate may gradually increase. In other words, it is acceptable for the increase rate to be so fast that the player cannot grasp it (it is sufficient for the player to recognize that the second number N2 is "increasing"). By using this example, the combined presentation can be made easier to understand (it is easier to understand that the combined number Nt has been reached as a result of the first number N1 being added to the second number N2).

In the above embodiment, it has been described that the

Specific example 1-6
The basic aspects of the "numbers" representing the first numerical value N1, the second numerical value N2, and the total numerical value Nt are made different. Examples of elements constituting the basic aspects include the color of the characters and the font. For example, the first numerical value N1 is "black," the second numerical value N2 is "white," and the total numerical value Nt is "red" (see FIG. 10(a)). By making the character colors of the respective numerical values different, it is emphasized that the respective numerical values have different meanings.
The basic aspect of the numerical value before and after the sum may be different. That is, the basic aspect of the first numerical value N1 and the second numerical value N2 is different from the basic aspect of the sum numerical value Nt (the basic aspect of the first numerical value N1 and the second numerical value N2 is the same). For example, the first numerical value N1 and the second numerical value N2 may be "black" and the sum numerical value Nt may be "red" (see FIG. 10(b)). In this way, the difference between the numerical value before and the numerical value after the sum can be emphasized.

The second numerical value N2 may be displayed on the second display device 12 (second display area 121) located at the original position (position in the normal state) in the pre-addition state. If the original position of the
3) Selection Presentation The
In the selection presentation, multiple options are presented, and one of the options is ultimately selected. In this embodiment, an image (option image 20) showing the option is displayed in the first display area 111 (see Figures 11 (b-1) and (b-2)). That is,
In this embodiment, the selection effect can occur as an introductory effect to the reach effect (super reach effect). The reach effect is executed after the selection effect, so it can be said to be a post-selection effect of the selection effect. The reach effect indicates the result of the lottery depending on the content of the ending. In this embodiment, after the selection effect, a battle effect, which is the reach effect, occurs. The battle effect (see Figs. 11(d-1)(d-2) and Fig. 12) is a battle between the player's character (ally character) and the enemy character (indicated with the word "enemy" in the drawings) that confronts it. If the win/loss lottery result (hereinafter sometimes referred to as the target win/loss lottery result) corresponding to the variable effect including the battle effect is a big win, the result is a win ending (including a so-called reversal pattern in which the character appears to have lost) (see Fig. 12(c-1)) in which the ally character wins, and if it is a miss, the result is a lose ending (see Fig. 12(c-2)) in which the ally character loses (the enemy character wins).
A plurality of types of battle performances may occur as the battle performance. In this embodiment, a plurality of types of battle performances may occur in which the types of ally characters fighting against the enemy character are different. Note that only one type of battle performance may occur during one change (two or more types of battle performances do not occur during one change). In this embodiment, a battle performance A in which an ally character A (indicated with the letter "A" in the drawings) fights an enemy character, a battle performance B in which an ally character B (indicated with the letter "B" in the drawings) fights an enemy character, a battle performance C in which an ally character C (indicated with the letter "C" in the drawings) fights an enemy character, and a battle performance S in which an ally character S (indicated with the letter "S" in the drawings) fights an enemy character may occur (see FIG. 11 (d-1) (d-2) and FIG. 12 (a)). The probability that the various battle performances will reach a successful conclusion, that is, the probability that the result of the target hit/miss lottery will be a jackpot (so-called (jackpot) reliability) is the same for battle performance A, battle performance B, and battle performance C. In other words, the reliability of a jackpot does not change regardless of which of battle effects A to C occurs, so the profit the player can obtain (direct profit resulting in balls) is the same regardless of which effect occurs. On the other hand, battle effect S is considered to have a higher reliability of a jackpot than battle effects A to C. From this point of view, it can be said that battle effects A to C are normal effects, while battle effect S is a special (extraordinary) effect (a so-called chance-up (effect)).
The first
The selection effects are divided into optional selection effects (see FIG. 11(b-1)) and automatic selection effects (see FIG. 11(b-2)). An optional selection effect allows the player to select one of the multiple options (option images 20) presented to him/her at his/her own discretion. In other words, the player can select the option of his/her choice. In contrast, an automatic selection effect allows one of the multiple options (option images 20) to be automatically selected (the player cannot select at his/her own discretion).
When a selection effect occurs during one of the varying effects, either a random selection effect or an automatic selection effect will occur, but not both. Specifically, the conditions for the selection effect to occur (hereafter referred to as the occurrence condition) are predetermined, and when the occurrence condition is met, either a random selection effect or an automatic selection effect will occur. If the point at which the occurrence condition is met is considered a "branch point," then reaching the branch point will trigger the occurrence of either a random selection effect or an automatic selection effect (at the point at which the branch point is reached, the player does not know which selection effect will occur). In this embodiment, the occurrence condition (branch point) is set to be the display of a specified image (introduction image 25) (see FIG. 11(a)).
In the optional selection performance, normal option images are displayed as multiple options, but the
After the optional selection performance, a battle performance is executed (see FIG. 11(d-1)) corresponding to the normal option image (any of the first
In contrast, the
After the automatic selection effect, a battle effect S is executed that corresponds to the
As described above, the reliability of the target winning/losing lottery result is higher when the battle performance S is executed than when the battle performances A to C are executed. Therefore, the probability of an event advantageous to the player, such as a big win, occurring is higher when an automatic selection performance in which the battle performance S is executed occurs than when a random selection performance in which any of the battle performances A to C is executed after the performance occurs (see FIG. 11 (d-1) (d-2)). In other words, the
In addition, the automatic selection effect displays
In addition, in the automatic selection presentation, the
The following describes specific examples of improvements, specific embodiments, and modifications to the above selection performance-related matters. Note that, to the extent possible, a configuration may be created that applies a combination of multiple technologies described using the following specific examples.
Specific example 2-1
The combination of normal option images presented in the optional selection performance may be changed each time. If three options are presented as in the above embodiment, four or more types of normal option images (and different types of battle performances (post-performances) corresponding to each of them) may be prepared, and three of them may be presented. However, regardless of which normal option image is selected, the jackpot reliability of the target winning/losing lottery result (the probability of an event advantageous to the player occurring) is the same.
〇Specific example 2-2
Two or more types of
Even if two or more types of
The jackpot reliability when the first
Specific example 2-3
The post-effect that occurs after the selection effect described in the above embodiment is a reach effect (battle effect), but is not limited to this. However, regardless of whether it is an arbitrary selection effect or an automatic selection effect, the post-effect that is executed after the selection effect corresponds to the
In the above embodiment, the reliability of the jackpot of the target winning/losing lottery result is higher when an automatic selection effect occurs than when an arbitrary selection effect occurs as the selection effect, that is, the event advantageous to the player whose probability of occurrence is suggested by the type of selection effect is a "jackpot", but an event other than a "jackpot" may be the event to be suggested. For example, a first jackpot and a second jackpot are provided as jackpots, and the game state after the second jackpot game is set to be a more advantageous game state for the player than the game state after the first jackpot game (as an example, a setting can be considered in which the game state after the first jackpot game is set to be a low probability state in which the probability of a jackpot is relatively low, and the game state after the second jackpot game is set to be a high probability state in which the probability of a jackpot is relatively high). The selection effect occurs during a jackpot game (a state in which it is not clear whether it is a first jackpot or a second jackpot), and the probability of the second jackpot is higher when the selection effect becomes an automatic selection effect than when the selection effect becomes an arbitrary selection effect. In other words, the event to be suggested can be "announcement of a favorable jackpot."
Specific example 2-4
In both the optional selection presentation and the automatic selection presentation, the options are displayed one by one (see FIG. 14). That is, the
Based on this premise, even when an automatic selection effect is executed, at least the
Preferably, when an automatic selection presentation is performed, the
Specific example 2-5
In the optional selection performance, the
As in the above embodiment, if the
4) Specific lottery 4-1) Setting The
The method of differentiating the "degree of advantage" is not limited to the probability of winning a jackpot in a normal game state (low probability state). Other probabilities may be targeted as long as they affect the player's profit (expected value of balls won). For example, the probability of winning a jackpot in a special game state (high probability state) may be targeted.
4-2) Non-volatile memory The
As described above, the specific information stored in the first
In the following description, the state in which specific information is stored in the first non-volatile memory 31 (the state in FIG. 16(b-2)) may be referred to as the stored state, and the state in which specific information is not stored in the first non-volatile memory 31 (the state in FIG. 16(b-1)) may be referred to as the non-stored state.
4-3) Specific Effects The
The type of special effect to be executed is determined by a special lottery that is executed based on the current settings. In this embodiment, there are four types of special effects that can occur: special effects A to D. The specific form of each special effect may be any form that allows the player to understand the difference between the effects. In this embodiment, special effect A is displayed as character A, special effect B is displayed as character B, special effect C is displayed as character C, and special effect D is displayed as character D. As described above, the special effects are executed during the opening period of the big win game, and the character that instructs the player to shoot the game ball aiming at the big win area 906 (instructs the player to hit to the right) is displayed as the special effect (see FIG. 16(c)).
4-4) Specific lottery When a specific condition is met, the type of specific effect to be executed is determined by a specific lottery. In other words, a specific lottery is a lottery for determining the content of the specific effect. As mentioned above, a specific effect is a "setting suggestion effect", so the specific lottery for determining its content is based on the current settings. Note that the execution of a specific lottery includes the execution of a lottery with a probability of 100% and a lottery with a probability of 0%.
The manner of the specific lottery differs depending on whether the specific information is stored in the first
As described above, the memory state occurs after a specific operation (setting change operation) when the erase condition is not met (a specific lottery is not being performed). Therefore, it can be said that a specific lottery using the memory state table is performed when the specific condition is met for the first time after the setting is changed. Also, in this embodiment, the specified number of times is set to 1, so after a specific lottery using the memory state table is performed, the specific information is erased from the first
In this way, the
In particular, in this embodiment, the specific information, which is information indicating that a setting change has been made, is stored in the first
Naturally, if the
As can be seen from FIG. 17, the specific lottery (specific presentation) in this embodiment has the following characteristics:
The probability of special effect A occurring decreases the higher the setting, regardless of whether the player is in a memorized or non-memorized state. Therefore, the occurrence of special effect A can be said to be an unpleasant event for players. However, for "Setting 4" to "
The probability of special effects B and C occurring increases the higher the setting, regardless of whether the player is in a memorized or non-memorized state. Therefore, the occurrence of special effects B and C can be considered a welcome event for the player. It should be noted that there is no difference in the probability of special effects B and C occurring between a memorized and non-memorized state, regardless of whether the setting is "Setting 1" through "
Special effect D occurs only when a certain setting counting from the highest setting is the current setting. In this embodiment, it can only occur when the current setting is "Setting 4" to "
This specific effect D can occur if a specific lottery is executed in a memory state, but will not occur if a specific lottery is executed in a non-memory state. In other words, although there is a possibility that specific effect D will occur as the first specific effect after a setting change, there is no possibility that specific effect D will occur as a specific effect thereafter. In this way, by configuring the game to include a type of specific effect (specific effect D) that can occur if a specific lottery is executed in a memory state, but will not occur if a specific lottery is executed in a non-memory state, it is determined that a setting change has occurred when that type of specific effect occurs. From the player's perspective, there is a possibility that the player can know whether a setting change has occurred by executing a specific lottery in a memory state.
In addition, when specific effect D occurs, it is confirmed that the setting is "○ or higher" (in this embodiment, "setting 4" or higher), but the ability to encounter specific effect D is limited to the memory state. In other words, the gameplay has the potential to confirm that the setting is "○ or higher" as a bonus for receiving a specific lottery in the memory state.
Below, we will explain specific examples of improvements, specific embodiments, modifications, etc., of the above-mentioned specific lottery-related matters. Note that, to the extent possible, a configuration may be created in which multiple technologies described using the following specific examples are combined and applied.
Specific example 3-1
In the above embodiment, it has been explained that the clearing condition is satisfied when one specific lottery is executed in the memory state (the specified number of times (N) = 1), but the specified number of times (N) may be set to 2 or more (see FIG. 18(a)). In this way, after the setting is changed, the game will not move to the non-memory state unless N specific lotteries are executed, resulting in a gameplay in which the specific lottery is executed N or more times in the memory state table.
Specific example 3-2
The value of the specified number of times (N) is indefinite. Specifically, when the setting is changed, a lottery is executed to determine the value of the specified number of times (N). That is, multiple values are provided as candidates for the value of N (for example, three values, "1", "2", and "3", are provided as candidates), and the value is determined by the lottery to determine the number of times (see FIG. 18(b)). However, the value of the specified number of times (N) determined by the lottery to determine the number of times is not shown to the player (the player cannot grasp it).
By doing this, after the setting is changed, the number of times the specific lottery is executed on the memory state table becomes indefinite (the player will not know when it will transition to a non-memory state), which makes it more difficult to guess the setting through the specific presentation.
Specific example 3-3
The specific lottery may be a lottery to determine whether or not a specific effect is to be executed. That is, a specific lottery is executed when a predetermined condition is satisfied, and the specific lottery is executed if the specific lottery is won. For example, as in the above embodiment, if a specific effect can occur in a big win game, a specific lottery is executed when a big win is won, and only if the specific lottery is won, a specific effect occurs in the big win game. The winning probability of the specific lottery is different depending on the current setting. That is, the current setting is not suggested by the content of the specific effect (the type of specific effect that occurs), but by whether or not a specific effect occurs (the occurrence probability of a specific effect per number of times the specific lottery is executed). And, the mode of the specific lottery is different between the memory state and the non-memory state. That is, the lottery table for the memory state used in the memory state is different from the lottery table used in the non-memory state. In this way, an interesting gameplay is realized in which the specific lottery for determining whether or not a specific effect is to be executed is different after the setting is changed and thereafter.
In the example shown in Figure 19, the memory state has a higher probability of a specific effect occurring (probability of winning a specific lottery) than the non-memory state (higher overall occurrence probability), so it is characterized by the fact that it is easier to benefit from setting suggestions after a setting change. In particular, in the example shown in Figure 19, regardless of whether the current setting is "Setting 1" to "
In addition, in the example shown in Figure 19, the difference in the probability of occurrence of a specific effect for each setting is greater in the memory state than in the non-memory state (10% in the memory state and 5% in the non-memory state), so there is also the characteristic that setting differences are more likely to appear when a specific lottery is performed in the memory state than when a specific lottery is performed in the non-memory state.
The specific selection may be a selection as to whether or not to execute a specific effect (as in the above embodiment), and may also be a selection for determining the content of the specific effect (as in the present example). In other words, the type of selection as to whether or not to execute a specific effect and the content of the specific effect may differ between the memory state and the non-memory state.
Specific example 3-4
In the above embodiment, the specific effect is described as a setting suggestion effect that suggests the current setting, but it can also be used as other suggestions. For example, it can also be used as a suggestion for a reset operation (a suggestion of how far away the "ceiling" is) for a
The ceiling function itself is well known, so it will be explained briefly. The transition of the game state in which the player is playing to win a jackpot from a certain game state (hereinafter referred to as the reference game state) to a more advantageous game state (hereinafter referred to as the advantageous game state) can basically occur as a result of winning a jackpot, but it is known that this can also occur as a result of the activation of the ceiling function. Any method may be used to set the difference in the degree of advantage between the reference game state and the advantageous game state. The reference game state may be set to a so-called low base state, and the advantageous game state to a so-called high base state (a state in which it is easier to receive a win/lose lottery than the low base state), or the reference game state may be set to a low probability state, and the advantageous game state to a high probability state (a state in which it is easier to win a jackpot than the low probability state). In addition, a difference in the degree of advantage may be set by combining these.
The ceiling function is activated when the winning/losing lottery results in the standard gaming state are a loss a predetermined number of times (so-called ceiling number of times (number of spins to the ceiling). For example, the predetermined number is 1000 times) in a row after a predetermined reset condition is met. Here, the reset condition is met when either "the end of a big win game that transitions to the standard gaming state" or "a reset operation" occurs. A reset operation is an operation that cannot be performed unless the inside of the gaming machine is opened, and is an operation that cannot be performed by a player (it is an operation that can be performed by a gaming store clerk). Therefore, in the state immediately after the gaming store opens (the so-called early morning state), a player cannot clearly know whether a reset operation has been performed or not. If a reset operation has been performed, the number of losses required to activate the ceiling function, i.e., the number of spins to the ceiling, will be the above-mentioned predetermined number (1000 times), whereas if a reset operation has not been performed, the number of spins to the ceiling required to activate the ceiling function may be less than the above-mentioned predetermined number (the number of spins from the previous business day may be carried over).
The above reset operation is considered to be a specific operation. In other words, when a reset operation is performed, specific information (information that a reset operation has been performed) is stored in the first non-volatile memory 31 (see FIG. 20(a)). After the reset operation is performed, the specific information remains stored even if the power of the
The specific effects suggest at least one of the following: whether or not a reset operation has been performed, and the number of consecutive misses since the reset operation (hereafter referred to as the number of consecutive misses. The more consecutive misses there are, the fewer the number of misses (remaining number) until the ceiling is reached, so the suggestion of the number of consecutive misses can also be said to be an indication of the remaining number of times) (the former is referred to as a "reset suggestion" and the latter as a "number of spins suggestion").
If a special effect is used as a "reset suggestion," for example, it can be configured so that when a special condition is met in a memory state and a special lottery is executed, the special effect occurs with a 100% probability, and when a special condition is met in a non-memory state and a special lottery is executed, the special effect does not occur (probability of
If the special effect is used as a "spin number suggestion", for example, it is conceivable that the special effect can occur if the number of consecutive losses is 500 or more. In other words, the special effect can occur if the number of consecutive losses is 500 or more (if the ceiling is relatively close), but will not occur if the number of consecutive losses is less than 500 (if the ceiling is relatively far). If the number of consecutive losses is 500 or more and the special condition is met in the memory state and a special lottery is executed, the special effect will occur with a 10% probability, while if the number of consecutive losses is 500 or more and the special condition is met in the non-memory state and a special lottery is executed, the special effect will occur with a 50% probability. In other words, the special effect indicating that the ceiling is relatively close is more likely to occur in the non-memory state than in the memory state. Since the number of consecutive losses is relatively more likely to be higher in the non-memory state than in the memory state, it is preferable to make it easier for a special effect suggesting that the number of spins to the ceiling is small in the non-memory state to occur.
When a specific effect can occur as a suggestion of a reset operation (a suggestion of how close or far the "ceiling" is), as in this example, the specific condition that triggers the specific lottery is not considered to be a condition that is established when a jackpot is won, as in the above embodiment. When a jackpot is won, the number of misses required to reach the "ceiling" is reset, so there is no point in making the suggestion when a jackpot is won. For example, the execution of a variable effect that satisfies a predetermined condition (a variable effect that includes a special effect) can be considered to be the establishment of a specific condition, and when a specific lottery that is executed when the specific condition is met is won, the specific effect can be executed during the variable effect.
By doing as in this example, gameplay is realized in which the ease of enjoying the effects of a specific presentation that suggests whether a reset operation has been performed or how close the player is to the ceiling differs between a memory state in which a specific lottery has not yet been performed since a reset operation that resets the number of spins until the ceiling has been performed, and a non-memory state.
5) Storage of target information The
The target information may change as the game progresses. In this embodiment, the target information is the number of times the game is changed (the number of rotations), which is the number of times the game is changed after a predetermined condition is met, and is stored in the second non-volatile memory 32 (hereinafter, the information on the number of times the game is changed is referred to as the number of times information). The predetermined condition is considered to be met when at least one of the following occurs: "power OFF→ON", "end of the jackpot game", and "setting change". In other words, when any of these events occurs, the number of times information stored in the second
The target information is stored in the second
The second
The target information, that is, the number of times information, is stored in a memory area different from the memory area in which it was stored when the previous update condition was met. If the number of times information was stored in the first memory area 321 (first
When the target information, the number of times information, is stored in a storage area, the processing information is also stored in the check area of the same storage area (see Figures 21 (b-3) and (c-3)). As described above, the number of times information is stored alternately in the
Specifically, when writing the number of times information to the corresponding storage area, information indicating "abnormal" (abnormal information) is written as the first processing information (see Fig. 21 (b-1) and (c-1)), the number of times information is written (see Fig. 21 (b-2) and (c-2)), and then information indicating "normal" (normal information) is written as the second processing information by overwriting the first processing information (abnormal information) (see Fig. 21 (b-3) and (c-3)). In other words, when the writing process is performed to the end, the information is written in the order of "abnormal information" → "number of times information" → "normal information", and when the normal information is also written, the abnormal information does not exist. In other words, when the writing process is performed normally, the normal information is written together with the number of times information in one of the
Although not shown, in this embodiment, the number of times of change based on the number of times information is displayed in the
Some kind of abnormality may occur during this write process (for example, a temporary power outage during the write process). If an abnormality occurs, the process of writing normal information to the check area will not be completed, and abnormal information will remain in the check area. In other words, if no normal information is stored, the process of writing the count information may not have been completed (the write process may be abnormal) (see Figure 22).
For example, when the latest update condition was met, the write process of the count information to the first memory area 321 (first
In contrast, if an abnormality occurs during the writing process, normal information will not be stored in the first storage area 321 (
Although not shown, if normal information is not stored in the second memory area 322 (
The same applies when the count information is written to the second memory area 322 (second
As described above, in the
If the writing when the latest update condition is met is not performed normally, the target information when the previous update condition was met (the information written one time ago) is read and output, so strictly speaking, the target information is not accurate (see FIG. 22(b-3)). However, the target information is stored when the update condition before the latest update condition was met, so the error is not that large. In particular, the number information that is the target information in this embodiment indicates the number of changes, and it is thought that the player will not be too concerned about an error of only "1" in the displayed number of changes (the player will not notice that an error of "1" has occurred). In this way, the
The following describes specific examples of improvements, specific embodiments, modifications, etc., made to the above-mentioned items related to the storage of target information. Note that, to the extent possible, a configuration may be made in which multiple techniques described using the following specific examples are combined and applied.
Specific example 4-1
In the above embodiment, it has been described that the second
When reading out the latest number of times information, if it is determined that the write process to a certain memory area was not performed normally when the latest update condition was met (if normal information is not stored in the check area), it is determined whether the write process to a memory area other than the certain memory area was performed normally when the previous update condition was met based on the presence or absence of normal information (processing information), and the most recent target information among those that were written normally is read and output. For example, if the memory area that was written to when the latest update condition was met is the
In this way, when three storage areas are provided, an error occurs only if the write processes to all three storage areas, i.e., all three most recent consecutive write processes, are abnormal. In other words, the advantage is that the more storage areas you have, the lower the probability of an error occurring.
Specific example 4-2
In the above embodiment, the target information is explained as the number of times information (variable number of times), but in addition to or instead of this, other information may be used as the target information as long as the content of the information can change with the progress of the game. For example, the number of times of big wins, etc. may be used as the target information.
Specific example 4-3
As described in the above embodiment, if the write process of the target information at the latest update condition is not performed normally, the target information (the previous target information) will be output if the write process of the target information at the previous update condition is performed normally. In the above embodiment, it has been described that the previous target information is output as is, but the target information is output after being modified so that it becomes correct information. For example, as in the above embodiment, if the target information is number of times information (number of changes), the previous number of times information is "the value of the exact number of changes - 1", so the value of the previous number of times information plus "1" (+1) is output (see FIG. 25 (b)). In other words, if the target information corresponds to "a value that increases by 1 each time the update condition is satisfied", the previous target information is information that is "1" less than the correct target information, so when the previous target information is used, the value plus "1" is actually output (displayed).
By doing this, even if the write process was not performed correctly when the most recent update condition was met, accurate target information (number of times information) will be output.
Although the embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail above, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments, and various modifications are possible without departing from the gist of the present invention.
The matters described in the above embodiment can also be applied to other gaming machines, such as slot machines, except for the use of a configuration unique to pachinko gaming machines.
In the above embodiment, the winning/losing lottery results are set as a jackpot and a losing lottery result, and a jackpot is acquired (a jackpot game is executed) when a jackpot is acquired, but a jackpot may also be acquired via a small prize. Since the gameplay that allows a jackpot to be acquired via a small prize (the gameplay of a so-called "two-type game machine") is well known, a detailed explanation is omitted. For example, if a small prize is won, it will lead to the acquisition of a jackpot (except in the case of an irregular event such as a malfunction of the game machine or the player not playing as instructed) (a setting in which the winning of a small prize and the winning of a jackpot can essentially be regarded as the same thing), and the winning of a jackpot as described in the above embodiment includes winning a small prize.

Measure 4-2
The gaming machine described in means 4-1 is characterized in that when the target information is stored in one of the memory areas when the update condition is met, processing information indicating whether the write process for that memory area was performed normally is also stored in the storage means, and when the target information stored in the storage means is read out, if it is determined based on the processing information that the write process for a certain memory area was not performed normally when the most recent update condition was met, it is determined based on the processing information whether the write process for another memory area different from the certain memory area was performed normally when the update condition was met prior to that, and the most recent target information for which the write process was performed normally is read out.
By doing this, if the target information was not written normally when the latest update condition was met, it is possible to read out the most recent target information that was written normally when the previous update condition was met.
Measure 4-3
The gaming machine described in Means 4-1 or 4-2 is characterized in that it executes a during-variation performance from when the decorative pattern indicating the result of the win/lose lottery starts to change until it stops in a manner indicating the result of the win/lose lottery, the target information includes number information which is the number of times the during-variation performance has been executed after a predetermined condition is satisfied, and the update condition is satisfied each time the during-variation performance is executed.
Even if the accurate value is not output as the number of times of the performance during the change (the number of times of change) (even if a value less than "1" is output), it is highly likely that the player will not be bothered. Therefore, it is preferable to perform the above control using the number information as the target information.
