Description
[1] ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂(A)18~35質量部、ポリエチレンテレフタレート樹脂(B)10~25質量部、熱可塑性ポリエステルエラストマー(C)10~20質量部、エポキシ基含有エチレン共重合体(D)0.5~5質量部、球状および/または不定形の無機フィラー(E)12~20質量部、ガラス繊維系強化材(F)10~35質量部、ポリカーボネート系樹脂(G)0~10質量部、エステル交換防止剤(H)0~2質量部を含むことを特徴とするポリエステル樹脂組成物。
[2] さらに、共重合ポリエチレンテレフタレート樹脂(I)および/または共重合ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂(J)4~8質量部を含むことを特徴とする[1]に記載のポリエステル樹脂組成物。
[3] 前記ポリエステル樹脂組成物をシリンダー温度270℃、金型温度80℃で射出成形して得られる成形品(45mm×100mm×厚み2mm(100mm辺部には高さ6mmの壁があり、長さ14mm・高さ2mm・厚み1mmのリブ部を有する))のリブ部裏側のヒケ深さが3.0μm以下となることを特徴とする[1]または[2]に記載のポリエステル樹脂組成物。
ポリエステル樹脂組成物を構成する各成分の含有(配合)量は、特に但し書きをしない限り、ポリエステル樹脂組成物の質量を100質量部としたときの量(質量部)である。各成分の配合量(配合比率)が、ポリエステル樹脂組成物中の含有量(含有比率)となる。
具体的には、ガラスビーズ、シリカ、炭酸カルシウム、ワラストナイト、硫酸バリウム、針状性の小さいワラストナイト、粒子性のホウ酸アルミニウム等が挙げられるが、これらに限定されるものではない。また、一般的に公知のカップリング剤で処理されているものでも問題なく使用できる。球状および/または不定形の無機フィラー(E)の粒子径には特に制限が無く、任意のものが使用できるが、例えば、粒子径が1~80μmのものが好ましく、2~30μmのものがより好ましい。
ガラス繊維の平均繊維径、平均繊維長は電子顕微鏡観察にて測定することができる。
エステル交換防止剤(H)としては、ポリエステル系樹脂の触媒失活効果を有するリン系化合物を好ましく用いることができ、例えば、株式会社ADEKA製「アデカスタブAX-71」が使用可能である。
共重合ポリエチレンテレフタレート樹脂(I)を構成する全グリコール成分を100モル%としたとき、ネオペンチルグリコールの共重合割合は20~60モル%が好ましく、25~50モル%がより好ましい。
共重合ポリエチレンテレフタレート樹脂(I)を構成する全酸成分を100モル%としたとき、イソフタル酸の共重合割合は20~60モル%が好ましく、25~50モル%がより好ましい。
ISO-178に準じて測定し、曲げS-S面積は、曲げたわみ率0.0196%毎の曲げ強度を合算して算出した。
(2)熱変形温度
ISO-3167の多目的試験片を成形した。この多目的試験片に対し、ISO-75に準拠し、高荷重(1.80MPa)での熱変形温度を測定した。
ポリエステル樹脂組成物をシリンダー温度270℃、金型温度80℃で射出成形して、100mm×100mm×2mmの成形品を成形する際、充填時間が1秒になる射出速度範囲で成形した成形品の外観を、目視により観察した。「◎」、「○」、「△」であれば、合格レベルである。
◎:表面にツヤ感があり、外観不良が全くなく、良好
○:表面にガラス繊維や無機フィラー等の浮きによる外観不良がほとんど見られず、良好
△:一部(特に成形体の末端部分やゲート付近等)に、若干の外観不良が発生している
×:成形体全体に外観不良が発生している
ポリエステル樹脂組成物をシリンダー温度270℃、金型温度80℃で射出成形して得た成形品(45mm×100mm×厚み2mm(100mm辺部には高さ6mmの壁があり、長さ14mm・高さ2mm・厚み1mmのリブ部を有する))にリブを付けた部分を成形品の裏側からレーザー顕微鏡(商品名:「カラー3Dレーザー顕微鏡 VK-9700、株式会社キーエンス製」を用いて、倍率10倍で観察し、リブ部分とリブ無の部分の表面高さの差(ヒケの深さ)を測定した。表面高さの差が、2.5μm未満であれば「◎」、2.5以上3.0μm以下であれば「○」、3.0μmを超えれば不合格「×」とした。成形体の形状は図1に示す。

A:東洋紡社製 還元粘度0.75dl/g
ポリエチレンテレフタレート樹脂(B)
B:東洋紡社製 還元粘度0.63dl/g
C:ジメチルテレフタレート、1,4-ブタンジオール、および数平均分子量が1000のポリ(テトラメチレンオキシド)グリコールを原料として、ポリブチレンテレフタレートを75質量%、ポリ(テトラメチレンオキシド)グリコールを25質量%含有する熱可塑性ポリエステルエラストマーを合成した。
D:住友化学工業社製 「ボンドファースト 7M」、エチレン/アクリル酸メチル/グリシジルメタクリレート共重合体(質量比 64/30/6)、ガラス転移点-33℃、グリシジルメタクリレート含有量6%
E-1:炭酸カルシウム:白石カルシウム(株)製 「ホワイトンP-30」不定形フィラー
E-2:ガラスビーズ:ポッターズ・バロティーニ(株)製 「EGB731B」球状フィラー

(略号はそれぞれ、TPA:テレフタル酸、EG:エチレングリコール、NPG:ネオペンチルグリコール、IPA:イソフタル酸、1,4-BD:1,4-ブタンジオール成分を示す。)
実施例、比較例のポリエステル樹脂組成物は、上記原料を表1、2に示した配合比率(質量部)に従い計量して、35φ二軸押出機(東芝機械社製)でシリンダー温度270℃、スクリュー回転数200rpmにて溶融混練した。強化材以外の原料はホッパーから二軸押出機へ投入し、無機フィラー(E)とガラス繊維系強化材(F)はベント口からそれぞれ別々のサイドフィーダ―から投入した。得られたポリエステル樹脂組成物のペレットは、乾燥後、射出成形機にて各種評価用サンプルを成形した。評価結果は表1、2に示した。

Claims (3)
- ポリエステル樹脂組成物の質量を100質量部としたとき、ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂(A)18~35質量部、ポリエチレンテレフタレート樹脂(B)10~25質量部、熱可塑性ポリエステルエラストマー(C)10~20質量部、エポキシ基含有エチレン共重合体(D)0.5~5質量部、球状および/または不定形の無機フィラー(E)12~20質量部、ガラス繊維系強化材(F)10~35質量部、ポリカーボネート系樹脂(G)0~10質量部、エステル交換防止剤(H)0~2質量部を含むことを特徴とするポリエステル樹脂組成物。
- さらに、共重合ポリエチレンテレフタレート樹脂(I)および/または共重合ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂(J)4~8質量部を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポリエステル樹脂組成物。
- 前記ポリエステル樹脂組成物をシリンダー温度270℃、金型温度80℃で射出成形して得られる成形品(45mm×100mm×厚み2mm(100mm辺部には高さ6mmの壁があり、長さ14mm・高さ2mm・厚み1mmのリブ部を有する))のリブ部裏側のヒケ深さが3.0μm以下となることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のポリエステル樹脂組成物。
