スレッドミル、
カウンタシンクカッタ、
又は、そのような切削ツールを製造することに対応するツールブランク、の内の1つなどの、いずれの種類の回転可能な切削ツールとすることができる。切削ツールボディは、複雑な内部又は外部ジオメトリを有してよく、例えば、複雑なクーラントチャネルジオメトリを有するドリル若しくはエンドミル、又は、異なるツールボディの直径を有するツールの異なる部品を有する、内部クーラントチャネルを有する、若しくは有しないステップドリルとすることができる。

Claims (4)
- 第1の部材(101)、第2の部材(102)、及び遷移部材(103)を製造するステップであって、前記遷移部材(103)を製造するステップは、付加製造方法を含み、前記第1の部材(101)及び前記第2の部材(102)の双方が実質的な円筒形状を有し、前記第1の部材(101)は、第1の大きさのツール特性を有し、前記第2の部材(102)は、前記第1の大きさとは異なる第2の大きさの前記ツール特性を有し、前記遷移部材(103)における前記ツール特性は、第1の端(106)にて前記第1の大きさであり、第2の端(107)にて前記第2の大きさであり、前記遷移部材(103)は、前記第1の端と前記第2の端(106、107)の間に遷移領域(108)を含み、ここでは、前記ツール特性が、前記第1の大きさから前記第2の大きさに変わる、第1の部材(101)、第2の部材(102)、及び遷移部材(103)を製造するステップと、
前記第1の部材及び前記第2の部材のそれぞれの中心軸(L1、L2)と一致するツールボディの中心軸(T)を有する切削ツールボディを作製するように、前記遷移部材の前記第1の端を前記第1の部材の1つの端に接続し、前記遷移部材の前記第2の端を前記第2の部材の1つの端に接続するステップと、を含む、切削ツールボディを製造する方法。 - 少なくとも1つのフルート、及び/又は、1つ以上の切削エッジを、前記切削ツールボディ内に形成するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記製造するステップは、焼結炭化物の前記部材を製造するステップを含む、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記部材を接続するステップは、焼結フュージングを含む、請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
