Description
前記親水性基材において、前記親水化処理は紫外線照射処理、電子線照射処理、及びイオン照射処理からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種であることが好ましい。
前記親水性基材において、前記親水性ポリマー層は親水性ポリマー溶液を用いて形成されたものであることが好ましい。
前記親水性基材作製方法において、前記親水化処理は紫外線照射処理、電子線照射処理、イオン照射処理、及びプラズマ処理からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種であることが好ましい。
前記親水性基材作製方法において、前記親水性ポリマー層は親水性ポリマー溶液を用いて形成されたものであることが好ましい。
本明細書において、水の接触角は、後述の実施例に記載の方法で測定可能である。
なお、本明細書において、表面粗さRaは、JIS B0601-2001で規定される中心線表面粗さRaである。
(1)、(2)の保持、乾燥時間は、基材の大きさ、導入する液種、等により適宜設定すれば良い。保持時間は、10秒~10時間が好ましく、1分~5時間がより好ましく、5分~2時間が更に好ましい。乾燥は、室温(約23℃)から80℃で行うことが好ましく、室温から40℃で行うことがより好ましい。また、減圧して乾燥しても良い。更に、保持して一定時間後、適宜、余分な親水性ポリマー溶液・分散液を排出し、乾燥してもよい。
AIBN(アゾビスイソブチロニトリル)12.5mg/mlトルエン溶液を用いて、2-メトキシエチルアクリレート(25wt%トルエン)を60℃で7時間熱重合し、ポリ2-メトキシエチルアクリレート(PMEA)を作製した。
1N NaOH水溶液をスライドチャンバー(底面:ソーダ石灰ガラス製)に加え、1時間放置した。その後、チャンバー表面を水で洗浄して自然乾燥した(親水化処理済の基材)。
作製したPMEAの0.25%メタノール溶液を前記親水化処理をしたスライドチャンバーに注入した。その後、直ぐに40℃のオーブン中で5分間真空乾燥させ、親水性基材を作製した。
1N NaOH水溶液をスライドチャンバー(底面:ソーダ石灰ガラス製)に加え、20分に一回振とうし、NaOH水溶液を攪拌した。1時間放置した(合計振とう回数:3回)。その後、チャンバー表面を水で洗浄して自然乾燥した(親水化処理済の基材)。
作製したPMEAの0.25%メタノール溶液を前記親水化処理をしたスライドチャンバーに注入した。その後、直ぐに40℃のオーブン中で5分間真空乾燥させ、親水性基材を作製した。
1N NaOH水溶液をスライドチャンバー(底面:ソーダ石灰ガラス製)に加え、20分に一回振とうし、NaOH水溶液を攪拌した。1時間放置した(合計振とう回数:3回)。その後、チャンバー表面を水で洗浄して自然乾燥した(親水化処理済の基材)。
作製したPMEAの0.35%メタノール溶液を前記親水化処理をしたスライドチャンバーに注入した。その後、直ぐに40℃のオーブン中で5分間真空乾燥させ、親水性基材を作製した。
スライドチャンバー(底面:ソーダ石灰ガラス製)に低圧水銀ランプを備えたUV照射装置(オーク製作所製:HMW-615N-4)でUVを10分照射し、1時間後に(親水化処理済の基材)、作製したPMEAの0.25%メタノール溶液を前記親水化処理をしたスライドチャンバーに注入した。その後、直ぐに40℃のオーブン中で5分間真空乾燥させ、親水性基材を作製した。
スライドチャンバー(底面:ソーダ石灰ガラス製)に低圧水銀ランプを備えたUV照射装置(オーク製作所製:HMW-615N-4)でUVを10分照射し、10分後に(親水化処理済の基材)、作製したPMEAの0.25%メタノール溶液を前記親水化処理をしたスライドチャンバーに注入した。その後、直ぐに40℃のオーブン中で5分間真空乾燥させ、親水性基材を作製した。
スライドチャンバー(底面:ソーダ石灰ガラス製)に低圧水銀ランプを備えたUV照射装置(オーク製作所製:HMW-615N-4)でUVを10分照射し、10分後に(親水化処理済の基材)、作製したPMEAの0.35%メタノール溶液を前記親水化処理をしたスライドチャンバーに注入した。その後、直ぐに40℃のオーブン中で5分間真空乾燥させ、親水性基材を作製した。
未処理のスライドチャンバーに作製したPMEAの0.25%メタノール溶液を注入した。その後、直ぐに40℃のオーブン中で5分間真空乾燥させ、親水性基材を作製した。
親水化処理済の基材の表面に蒸留水2μlを滴下し、30秒後の接触角をθ/2法(室温)で測定した。
なお、実施例4はUV処理後1時間後に、実施例5、6はUV処理後10分後に接触角を測定した。UV処理による親水化は時間と伴に効果が少なくなり、3時間後には接触角が10度を超えた。
作製された親水性基材の表面(親水性ポリマー層の表面)に蒸留水2μlを滴下し、30秒後の接触角をθ/2法(室温)で測定した。
親水性基材の親水性ポリマー層の膜厚は、親水性ポリマー層の断面を、TEMを使用し、加速電圧15kV、1000倍で測定(撮影)した。
レーザー顕微鏡を用いて、非接触で表面粗さを1つの親水性基材(親水性ポリマー層)で4箇所(第1ピーク)測定し、そのRaの4点の平均を表面粗さRaとした(JIS B 0601-2001で規定される中心線表面粗さRaの平均)。

- 前記親水性ポリマー層は、親水性ポリマー溶液を用いて形成されたものである請求項1又は2に記載の親水性基材。
- 前記親水性ポリマー層は、親水性ポリマー溶液を用いて形成されたものである請求項4又は5に記載の親水性基材作製方法。
