Claims (6)
- 1つ以上の医療デバイスを患者の鼻腔を介して食道へ導入するためのイントロデューサデバイスであって、細長い管状本体を含み、
前記細長い管状本体は、前記細長い管状本体の第1の本体部分に形成される第1の開口部から、前記細長い管状本体の第2の本体部分に形成される第2の開口部まで延在する内部チャンバを画定する実質的に円形の内壁を有し、かつ前記第2の本体部分は、患者の鼻腔内部に適合するように特別に構成された外壁を有する円錐形状に形成された端部で終端し、
前記第1の本体部分の端部の縁は、周囲に沿って湾曲して、前記第1の開口部がその内部に配置される丸みを帯びた先端を形成し、前記丸みを帯びた先端は、前記イントロデューサデバイスを前記患者の胃腸系まで、又は前記患者の胃腸系を介して導入する場合に、患者の快適性を促進するように特別に構成され、
前記内部チャンバの径は、食道の内視鏡を受け入れるのに十分な寸法を有し、かつ、前記細長い管状本体の前記第1の開口部を介して前記イントロデューサデバイスの導入の視覚化を可能にして、前記患者の食道内への導入位置に前記イントロデューサデバイスの少なくとも前記第1の本体部分の位置付けを支持するように構成され、
前記食道の内視鏡を除去しかつ第2の医療デバイスを前記導入位置へ導入しつつ、前記イントロデューサデバイスの少なくとも前記第1の本体部分を前記第1の導入位置に残すように構成され、かつ
前記細長い管状本体の前記第2の開口部は、使用者に、前記内部チャンバへのアクセスを提供して、前記第2の医療デバイスを前記導入位置に維持しつつ、前記内壁の一部を把持しかつ引くことにより、前記細長い管状本体を2つの実質的に半円形の半分に分離して、前記イントロデューサデバイスを前記患者内部から除去することを支持するように構成される、
イントロデューサデバイス。 - 前記丸みを帯びた先端が、前記患者の食道の括約筋への刺激を軽減させることにより、患者の快適性を促進するように構成される、請求項1に記載のイントロデューサデバイス。
- 前記第1の本体部分は第1の材料で形成され、前記第2の本体部分は第2の材料で形成され、前記第1の材料は、柔軟で、かつ、少なくとも前記第1の本体部分の少なくとも一区分が食道の括約筋の上部内にある場合に、前記第1の本体部分が実質的に管状の形状を維持する程度に十分な剛性を有し、かつ前記第2の材料は前記第1の材料よりも剛性を有する、請求項1に記載のイントロデューサデバイス。
- 前記丸みを帯びた先端によって、前記イントロデューサデバイスが患者の咽頭後壁を刺激するのを防ぐ、請求項1に記載のイントロデューサデバイス。
- 前記食道の内視鏡のスコープ部が、少なくとも4mmの管状の内径を有する、請求項1に記載のイントロデューサデバイス。
- 前記円錐形状は、一対の対向するノッチを含み、各々のノッチがミシン目に向かって延在して、前記細長い管状本体の2つの実質的に半円形の半分への分離を可能にする、請求項1に記載のイントロデューサデバイス。
