Claims (5)
- インクを吐出する複数のノズルを有し、インクを用いてシートに画像を形成する記録ヘッドと、
前記記録ヘッドを制御する制御部と、
前記記録ヘッドの周辺の温度を検出する第1検出部と、
前記記録ヘッドの周辺の湿度を検出する第2検出部と
を備え、
前記制御部は、
前記ノズルごとに、インクを吐出してから経過した経過時間を取得し、
前記温度と、前記湿度と、前記経過時間とに基づいて、前記ノズル内のインクの粘度を前記ノズルごとに算出し、
前記ノズルごとに前記粘度が閾値以上であるか否かを判定し、
前記複数のノズルのうち、前記粘度が前記閾値以上であるノズルを高粘度ノズルと判定し、
インクを吐出不能な不吐出ノズルを示す不吐出情報を取得し、
前記不吐出情報に基づいて、前記不吐出ノズル内のインクの前記粘度を取得し、
前記複数のノズル内のインクの前記粘度の平均値を算出し、
前記不吐出ノズル内のインクの前記粘度と、前記複数のノズル内のインクの前記粘度の平均値とを比較し、
前記不吐出ノズル内のインクの前記粘度と、前記複数のノズル内のインクの前記粘度の平均値との比較結果に基づいて、寄与値を変更するか否かを判定し、
前記寄与値は、前記複数のノズルの各々が前記高粘度ノズルであるか否かを前記制御部が判定する際の判定結果に寄与する値である、画像形成装置。 - 前記制御部は、
前記不吐出ノズル内のインクの前記粘度が前記平均値未満でないと判定した場合、前記寄与値を変更する判定をし、
前記不吐出ノズル内のインクの前記粘度が前記平均値未満であると判定した場合、前記寄与値を変更しない判定をする、請求項1に記載の画像形成装置。 - 前記寄与値は、前記閾値である、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の画像形成装置。
- 前記制御部は、特定の式に基づいて、前記粘度を算出し、
前記寄与値は、前記特定の式に含まれる値である、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の画像形成装置。 - 前記記録ヘッドのメンテナンスを促すメンテナンス情報を表示する表示部を更に備え、
前記制御部は、前記寄与値を変更しない判定をした場合、前記メンテナンス情報を前記表示部に表示させる、請求項1から請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の画像形成装置。
