Description
The present invention relates to a travel control device for an unmanned forklift, a travel control method for an unmanned forklift, a travel control device for an unmanned towing vehicle, and a travel control method for an unmanned towing vehicle.
An industrial vehicle is known in which a steering angle of wheels is detected by a potentiometer. For example, a control device for a reach-type forklift disclosed in
However, some unmanned forklift trucks do not have wheel speed detectors (encoders) attached to the left and right front wheels. In an unmanned forklift, when a target steering angle (steering instruction value) is given to the controller by an external command to steer the drive wheels, control convergence (deviation from the command value due to overshoot, etc.) remains), an error (target steering angle deviation) may occur between the steering command value and the actual steering angle. Therefore, the total steering angle error is the sum of the potentiometer offset value (origin deviation) and the target steering angle deviation, and the target steering angle deviation must be taken into account when calculating the potentiometer offset value. In addition, when considering the straightness of the unmanned forklift traveling along a straight path, it is necessary to consider not only the steering angle error but also other mechanical factors of the unmanned forklift. Note that the target steering angle deviation and other mechanical factors vary depending on the situation and are not constant values.
図13(a),(b)、図14(a),(b)及び図15(a),(b)を用いて直進性誤差について言及する。

It is a figure showing.

A detailed description will be given below.
By using two values of the movement distance obtained from the
In other words, the rear wheel potentiometer 31 for detecting the steering angle of the vehicle has a deviation from the origin due to an assembly error or the like, and has a constant steering angle deviation (offset value) due to the deviation from the origin due to the assembly error or the like. Therefore, the offset value is automatically calculated by running the
Therefore, as shown in FIGS. 7(a) and 7(b), an extension line La is drawn from the center of the vehicle at a certain position. After traveling a certain distance, the inclination of the vehicle with respect to the extension line La is defined as the attitude angle θ. In other words, the vehicle tilts to some extent with respect to the extension line La after traveling a certain distance due to an assembly error or the like. That is, as shown in FIG. 7(a), after traveling a certain distance with the steering angle instruction value=0 degrees, the vehicle speed is changed by the offset value of the rear wheel potentiometer 31 and the deviation of the target steering angle as shown in FIG. 7(b). A posture angle displacement θr is generated.
As a geometrical relationship between the attitude angle and the steering angle, the steering angle .delta. There is a relation of (7).
where vs is the speed of the
Integrating and transforming equation (7) yields equations (8) and (9). The integrated value in the formula is the running distance.
Reference is made to the procedure for obtaining the offset value of potentiometer 31 .
Based on the above, the offset value of the rear wheel potentiometer 31 is obtained in the following three steps.
In the first step, the vehicle is driven for a certain distance with the steering command value=0 degrees, and the
In the second step, the vehicle is driven with the steering command value=0 degrees. However, as described above, the target steering angle deviation δe actually exists. It will run (run with the steering angle ≠ 0 degrees). That is, the displacement .theta.r of the attitude angle of the vehicle after running includes the displacement .theta.e due to the target steering angle deviation .delta.e and the displacement .theta.os due to the offset value .delta.os due to the assembly error of the potentiometer 31 (see equation (5)).
The displacement θr of the attitude angle of the vehicle is expressed by the above equation (5). To calculate θe, the steering angle δe measured by the rear wheel potentiometer 31 is obtained when the steering command value is set to 0 degrees. do. Substituting δ=δe into the equation (8), the displacement θe due to the target steering angle deviation is calculated as shown in the equation (4).
Then, the displacement θos due to the offset is calculated from equation (5).
In the third step, the displacement .theta.os due to the offset calculated in the second step is substituted as .theta.=.theta.os in equation (9), and the offset value .delta.os of the rear wheel potentiometer 31 is obtained as in equation (6).
In this manner, the offset value of the rear wheel potentiometer 31 can be obtained even in a model in which encoders are not mounted on both front wheels. A target steering angle is given, and a vehicle (a vehicle that automatically travels autonomously) that is steered by following the steering angle has a target steering angle deviation. Even for a vehicle, the offset value of the rear wheel potentiometer 31 can be obtained.
In other words, even if the vehicle does not have a speed sensor on the front wheels, it is possible to detect the origin deviation amount of the potentiometer 31 for detecting the rear wheel steering angle (the offset value of the potentiometer 31 can be calculated without the encoder for the front wheels). In particular, the offset value (origin shift amount) of the potentiometer 31 for detecting the rear wheel steering angle can be detected even in an unmanned forklift with a deviation in the target steering angle.
Then, in step S110 of FIG. 5, the
In this manner, travel control of the unmanned forklift is performed.
According to the above embodiment, the following effects can be obtained.

A detailed description will be given below.
By using the two values of the movement distance obtained from the
That is, the front wheel potentiometer 53 for detecting the steering angle of the vehicle has a deviation from the origin due to an assembly error or the like, and has a constant steering angle deviation (offset value) due to the deviation from the origin due to the assembly error or the like. Therefore, the offset value is automatically calculated by running the
Therefore, as shown in FIGS. 12(a) and 12(b), an extension line La is drawn from the center of the vehicle at a certain position. After traveling a certain distance, the inclination of the vehicle with respect to the extension line La is defined as the attitude angle θ. In other words, the vehicle tilts to some extent with respect to the extension line La after traveling a certain distance due to an assembly error or the like. That is, as shown in FIG. 12(a), after traveling a certain distance with the steering angle instruction value=0 degrees, the vehicle posture changes according to the offset value of the front wheel potentiometer 53 and the deviation of the target steering angle as shown in FIG. 12(b). An angular displacement θr occurs.
As a geometrical relationship between the attitude angle and the steering angle, the relationship between the steering angle δ of the front wheels and the amount of change in the attitude angle per unit time (angular velocity) of the vehicle is given by the following equation (15).
where vs is the speed of the front wheels, and Ll is the length between the
Integrating and transforming equation (15) yields equations (16) and (17). The integrated value in the formula is the running distance.
Reference is made to the procedure for obtaining the offset value of potentiometer 53 .
Based on the above, the offset value of the front wheel potentiometer 53 is obtained in the following three steps.
In the first step, the vehicle is driven for a certain distance with the steering instruction value=0 degrees, and the
In the second step, the vehicle is driven with the steering command value=0 degrees. However, as described above, the target steering angle deviation δe actually exists. It will run (run with the steering angle ≠ 0 degrees). That is, the displacement .theta.r of the posture angle of the vehicle after running includes the displacement .theta.e due to the target steering angle deviation .delta.e and the displacement .theta.os due to the offset value .delta.os due to the assembly error of the potentiometer 53 (see equation (13)).
The displacement θr of the attitude angle of the vehicle is expressed by the above equation (13). To calculate θe, the steering angle δe measured by the front wheel potentiometer 53 is obtained when the steering command value is set to 0 degrees. . Substituting δ=δe into the equation (16), the displacement θe due to the target steering angle deviation is calculated as in the equation (12).
Then, the displacement θos due to the offset is calculated from equation (13).
In the third step, the displacement .theta.os due to the offset calculated in the second step is substituted in equation (17) as .theta.=.theta.os, and the offset value .delta.os of the front wheel potentiometer 53 is obtained as in equation (14).
In step S209 of FIG. 11, the

Embodiments are not limited to the above, and may be embodied as follows, for example.
○ In the explanation using FIG. 5 in the first embodiment, it is assumed that there is only an assembly error of the potentiometer as explained in FIGS. 13(a) and 13(b). As shown in FIG. 7(a), after traveling a certain distance with the steering angle instruction value=0 degrees, the attitude angle of the vehicle is determined by the offset value of the rear wheel potentiometer 31 and the deviation of the target steering angle as shown in FIG. 7(b). was applied when the error of the potentiometer occurs as the displacement θr of Then, in step S104 of FIG. 5, the displacement .theta.r of the attitude angle of the vehicle is the result of the error of the potentiometer. In step S107, the attitude angle displacement .theta.os with respect to straightness is calculated from the attitude angle displacement .theta.e due to the target steering angle deviation and the attitude angle displacement .theta.r of the vehicle. 31 offset value δos was calculated.
Alternatively, as described with reference to FIGS. 14(a) and 14(b), it may be applied to the case where there is no potentiometer assembly error but there is a wheel alignment error of the front wheels. In this case, as shown in FIG. 7(a), the wheel alignment of the front wheels is calculated as the displacement .theta.r of the attitude angle of the vehicle as shown in FIG. An error occurs. In this case, in step S104 of FIG. 5, the vehicle attitude angle displacement .theta.r is the result of the wheel alignment error of the front wheels, etc., and in step S107, the attitude angle displacement .theta.e due to the deviation of the target steering angle and the vehicle attitude angle From the displacement .theta.r, the displacement .theta.os of the attitude angle with respect to the straightness is calculated as a result of the error. Further, in step S108, the offset value .delta.os of the rear wheel potentiometer 31 is calculated as a straightness correction value from the attitude angle displacement .theta.os with respect to the straightness. Then, the steering angle is corrected based on the offset value. In other words, even if the steering angle is instructed to be 0 degrees, the vehicle will run obliquely due to other mechanical factors such as wheel misalignment of the front wheels. By correcting it, it is possible to drive straight.
Similarly, the second embodiment may be applied when there is no ponteometer assembly error but there is a wheel alignment error of the
In addition, as explained with reference to FIGS. 15(a) and (b), it may be applied to the case where there is a potentiometer assembly error and a wheel alignment error of the front wheels. In this case, as shown in FIG. 7(a), the displacement .theta.r of the attitude angle of the vehicle after traveling a certain distance with the steering angle instruction value=0 degree is calculated as shown in FIG. 7(b). Errors such as wheel alignment occur. In this case, in step S104 of FIG. 5, the vehicle attitude angle displacement .theta.r is the result of the potentiometer assembly error and the wheel alignment error of the front wheels. From the vehicle attitude angle displacement .theta.r, the attitude angle displacement .theta.os with respect to straightness is calculated as a result of the error. Further, in step S108, the offset value .delta.os of the rear wheel potentiometer 31 is calculated as a straightness correction value from the attitude angle displacement .theta.os with respect to the straightness. Then, the steering angle is corrected based on the offset value. In other words, even if the steering angle is set at 0 degrees, the vehicle will run diagonally due to other mechanical factors such as potentiometer assembly error and front wheel misalignment. By replacing it with the shape and correcting it, it is possible to run straight.
