Description
The present disclosure relates to light emitting devices.
However, in the light-emitting device of
Accordingly, an object of one embodiment of the present invention is to provide a light-emitting device with improved light extraction efficiency.

According to one embodiment of the present invention, it is possible to provide a light emitting device with improved light extraction efficiency.

FIG. 1A is a schematic top view of a
The
The first
For the first
The
The first
First
(Sr, Ca) AlSiN3 :Eu(1)
By using the red phosphor having the composition represented by Formula (1), both the color rendering properties and light extraction of the light emitting device can be improved. The content of the first phosphor 61 is, for example, 9 wt % to 57 wt % with respect to the total weight of the first
The first phosphor 61 is not limited to a red phosphor that emits red light, and may be, for example, a green phosphor that emits green light or a blue phosphor that emits blue light. Also, the first phosphor 61 may be one type of phosphor, or may be a plurality of types of phosphors.
(sealing member 40)
The sealing member 40 covers the plurality of first
The second phosphor 62 is a phosphor that emits light with a shorter wavelength than the first phosphor 61 . In other words, the light emitted from the second phosphor 62 has a shorter wavelength than the light emitted from the first phosphor 61 . As a result, the rate at which the light emitted from the first phosphor 61 is absorbed by the second phosphor 62 can be reduced.
The second phosphor 62 may be one type of phosphor, or may be a plurality of types of phosphors. By using a plurality of types of phosphors as the second phosphor 62, for example, the color rendering properties of the
The
The arrangement of the plurality of first
The length of one side of the first
The number of the plurality of first
The upper surface of the first
The first
The first
The refractive index of the resin material that is the base material of the sealing member 40 is preferably the same as or higher than the refractive index of the resin material that is the base material of the first
The difference between the refractive index of the resin material that is the base material of the sealing member 40 and the refractive index of the resin material that is the base material of the first
As shown in FIG. 1B, the sealing member 40 preferably has a
In addition, as shown in FIG. 1D, each side of the first

(1st lead, 2nd lead)
The first lead 51 and the second lead 52 are conductive and function as electrodes for supplying power to the light emitting element. The base material of the first lead 51 and the second lead 52 can be metal such as copper, aluminum, gold, silver, iron, nickel, alloys thereof, phosphor bronze, iron-containing copper, or the like. These may be single layers or laminated structures (for example, clad materials). In particular, it is preferable to use copper, which is inexpensive and has high heat dissipation, as the base material. Also, the first lead 51 and the second lead 52 can have a silver-containing layer on their surface. Also, the first lead 51 and the second lead 52 can have an intermediate layer between the base material and the silver-containing layer. The intermediate layer contains, for example, aluminum, nickel, palladium, rhodium, gold, copper, or alloys thereof. The silver-containing layer or intermediate layer may be provided over the entire surface of first lead 51 and second lead 52, or may be provided partially. Also, the silver-containing layer or intermediate layer formed on the upper surface side of the lead can be thicker than the silver-containing layer or intermediate layer formed on the lower surface side of the lead.
A protective layer such as silicon oxide can be provided on the outermost surface of the first lead 51 and the second lead 52 (for example, the surface of the silver-containing layer). By providing the protective layer on the surface of the silver-containing layer, for example, when sulfur or the like enters the
