Claims (11)
- 偏光子;
前記偏光子の下部に位置し、下記化学式6で表示される正分散重合性液晶化合物の重合単位および下記化学式1で表示される逆分散重合性液晶化合物の重合単位を含み、385nm波長の光に対する透過率が3%以下である紫外線吸収性を有する第1位相差層;および
前記第1位相差層の下部に位置する第2位相差層を含み、
前記第1位相差層は、390nmの波長の光に対する透過率が2%以上であり、
前記第1位相差層において、全重合性液晶化合物の重合単位の重量を基準として、前記逆分散重合性液晶化合物の重合単位が70重量%以上の比率で含有され、前記正分散重合性液晶化合物の重合単位が30重量%以下の比率で含有される、偏光板。

R1~R5において、R2及びR3、又はR3及びR4は、互いに結合されて-L’-A’-P’に置換されたベンゼン環を形成し、残りの置換基は、それぞれ独立的に水素、ハロゲン、アルキル基、アルコキシ基、アルコキシカルボニル基、シアノ基、又はニトロ基であり、前記L’は、-C(=O)O-、-OC(=O)-又は-OC(=O)O-であり、A’は、アルキレン基であり、P’は、アクリロイル基、メタクリロイル基、アクリロイルオキシ基又はメタクリロイルオキシ基であり;
R6~R10は、それぞれ独立的に水素、ハロゲン、アルキル基、アルコキシ基、アルコキシカルボニル基、シアノ基、ニトロ基、又は下記化学式7の置換基であってよく、化学式中のR7~R9のいずれか1つは、下記化学式7の置換基である。

R11~R15において、R12及びR13、又はR13及びR14は、互いに結合されて-L-A-Pに置換されたベンゼン環を構成し、残りの置換基は、それぞれ独立的に水素、ハロゲン、アルキル基、アルコキシ基、アルコキシカルボニル基、シアノ基、又はニトロ基であり、前記Lは、-C(=O)O-、-OC(=O)-又は-OC(=O)O-であり、Aは、アルキレン基であり、Pは、アクリロイル基、メタクリロイル基、アクリロイルオキシ基又はメタクリロイルオキシ基である。 - 第1位相差層は、下記の数式Aによる位相差変化率の絶対値が17%以下である、請求項1に記載の偏光板:

数式AでRiは前記位相差層の550nm波長に対する初期面内位相差であり、Raは耐久条件後の前記位相差層の550nm波長に対する面内位相差であり、前記耐久条件は前記位相差層を85℃の温度で50時間以上放置する条件である。 - 第1位相差層は、紫外線吸収剤を含まない、請求項1または2に記載の偏光板。
- 第2位相差層は、垂直配向された重合性液晶化合物の重合単位を有する垂直配向液晶層である、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の偏光板。
- 垂直配向された重合性液晶化合物は逆波長重合性液晶化合物である、請求項4に記載の偏光板。
- 偏光子と第1位相差層の間に等方性フィルムをさらに含む、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の偏光板。
- 偏光子と第1位相差層の間に硬化樹脂層をさらに含む、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の偏光板。
- 第1位相差層は偏光子に直接付着されている、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の偏光板。
- 第2位相差層の下部に粘着剤層をさらに含む、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載の偏光板。
- 偏光子の上部に保護フィルムをさらに含む、請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載の偏光板。
- 請求項1~10のいずれか一項に記載の偏光板を含む、ディスプレイ装置。
