Description
[0002] 本発明は、逆浸透システムに使用するようなスパイラル型巻線要素用の膜の分野に関する。
[0004] スパイラル型巻線要素は、当技術分野で公知であり、従来は採取するために穿孔中心管に分離した流体を長手方向に流すことができる、多孔質メッシュに密封した半透膜の被覆多孔質シートからなる。従来の装置は、要素内で軸方向若しくは長手方向に流すことができる、織物又は押出加工の多孔質スペーサメッシュも含む。このメッシュは、典型的には構築用であるが、生物汚染の可能性、流れへの抵抗、スケール形成、及び構築の複雑さという形で著しい不都合を提供する。
[0008] 本発明は、流体流れ抵抗が著しく低減し、チャネル流れ面積が増加し、印刷又は堆積材料から閉塞された膜表面の面積が少なく、製造の容易さが増した、流体構成要素を分離するためのスパイラル型巻線要素の構築の改良を提供する。具体的には、スパイラル型巻線要素は、膜シートの末端付近に糊の貫通及び密封のための支持を提供するために、固体の長手方向スペーサを含む印刷又は堆積スペーサを使用して構築される。改良された構築方法は、スパイラル型巻線要素の内部に使用できる供給スペーサがなくてもよい。

Claims (18)
- 浸透キャリアを備えた積層構造に使用するための膜シートであって、前記膜シートは、選択的な流体分離を提供するように構成された活性表面及び前記活性表面の反対側の不活性表面を有し、前記膜シートは、前記活性表面の2つの対向する縁部のそれぞれの付近の供給スペーサ領域で前記活性表面上に配置された供給間隔要素を有し、前記膜シートは、前記2つの対向する縁部以外の前記膜シートの縁部付近の領域で前記活性表面、前記不活性表面、又はそれらの組合せの上に配置された剛性橋梁特徴を有し、前記剛性橋梁特徴は、前記縁部の周りに延在しない、膜シート。
- 前記剛性橋梁特徴は前記活性表面上に配置される、請求項1に記載の膜シート。
- 前記剛性橋梁特徴は前記不活性表面上に配置される、請求項1に記載の膜シート。
- 供給間隔領域の間の前記膜シートの前記活性表面の中央領域は、供給間隔要素がない、請求項1に記載の膜シート。

(b)選択的に流体分離を提供するように構成された活性表面及び前記活性表面の反対側の不活性表面を有する膜シートであって、前記膜シートは前記活性表面の2つの対向する縁部のそれぞれの付近の領域で前記活性表面上に配置された供給間隔要素を有し、前記膜シートは、前記2つの対向する縁部以外の前記膜シートの縁部付近の領域で前記活性表面、前記不活性表面、又はそれらの組合せの上に配置された剛性橋梁特徴を有し、前記剛性橋梁特徴は、前記浸透キャリアの端部を覆わない、膜シートと、を備え、
(c)前記膜シートは、前記不活性表面が前記浸透キャリアと接触するように配置される、積層構造。 - 前記剛性橋梁特徴は前記活性表面上に配置される、請求項8に記載の積層構造。
- 前記剛性橋梁特徴は前記不活性表面上に配置される、請求項8に記載の積層構造。
- 前記膜シートの前記活性表面の中央領域は、供給間隔要素がない、請求項8に記載の積層構造。
- 前記橋梁剛性特徴は、前記膜シートに添付され、膜シートから前記供給間隔要素の高さに少なくとも等しい距離だけ離れて突出する、請求項8に記載の積層構造。
- 前記橋梁剛性特徴は、供給間隔領域の間で膜にわたって連続する、請求項8に記載の積層構造。

- 前記膜シートは幅及び長さを有し、前記膜シートは、前記活性表面が互いに面するように前記膜シートの長さのほぼ中間の折り線に沿って折り畳まれ、前記膜シートは、前記剛性橋梁特徴が前記浸透キャリアから遠位の前記膜シートの一部の上にあるように、前記浸透キャリア上に配置される、請求項8に記載の積層構造。
- スパイラル型巻線要素を生成する方法であって、
(a)長さ及び幅を有する浸透キャリアシートを提供することと、
(b)採取管を提供することと、
(c)選択的に流体分離を提供するように構成された活性表面及び前記活性表面の反対側の不活性表面を有する膜シートを提供することと、前記活性表面の2つの対向する縁部のそれぞれの付近の領域で前記活性表面上に供給間隔要素を配置することと、前記2つの対向する縁部以外の前記膜シートの縁部付近の領域で前記活性表面、前記不活性表面、又はそれらの組合せの上に剛性橋梁特徴を配置することとを含み、前記剛性橋梁特徴は、前記縁部の周りに巻いておらず、前記膜シートは、浸透キャリアの幅と実質的に等しい幅、及び前記浸透キャリアの長さの約2倍に実質的に等しい長さを有する、ことと、
(d)前記膜シートの前記活性表面が折り畳んだシートの内側であるように、前記膜シートの前記幅に沿って延在する折り線に沿って前記膜シートを折り畳むことと、
(e)前記膜シートの前記折り目付近の第1の端部及び前記折り目の反対側で前記折り目に平行な第2の端部を有する要素リーフを形成するために、前記不活性表面が前記浸透キャリアと接触するように前記折り畳んだ膜シートを置くことであって、前記2つの対向する縁部は折り畳まれ、前記第1の端部及び第2の端部を連結し、並びに前記折り畳んだ膜シートは、前記浸透キャリア付近の第1の部分及び前記第1の部分によって前記浸透キャリアから分離された第2の部分を有する、ことと、
(f)接着剤が前記第1の縁部付近及び前記2つの縁部付近で膜リーフにわたって延在するように、前記膜シート、前記浸透キャリア、又はそれらの組合せに前記接着剤を塗布することと、
(g)前記採取管を中心に前記要素リーフを巻き付けること、前記要素リーフの前記第1の端部が前記採取管の付近にある状態で、スパイラル型巻線要素を形成することと、を含む方法。 - 前記接着剤を硬化すること、次いで前記要素リーフの前記2つの縁部に対応する前記スパイラル型巻線要素の一部を取り除くことを更に含み、前記要素リーフは、このように取り除いた後、前記第2の端部及び前記2つの縁部に沿って前記浸透キャリアを中心に前記膜シートを完全に密封する接着剤を依然として有する、請求項16に記載の方法。
- ステップ(e)は、前記剛性橋梁特徴が前記膜シートの前記第2の部分を備えるように前記膜シートを置くことを含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
