Description
以下、ハイブリッド車両の制御装置の第1実施形態を、図1~図7を参照して詳細に説明する。ここではまず、図1を参照して、本実施形態のエンジン制御装置が適用対象となるエンジンが搭載されたハイブリッド車両の駆動系の構成を説明する。
図6に、本実施形態において、第1走行モードから第2走行モードへの切替えに際してのエンジン10の始動方式を選択するための始動方式選択ルーチンのフローチャートを示す。車両制御部23は、第1走行モードから第2走行モードへの切替えが要求されたときに同ルーチンの処理を実行する。本ルーチンが開始されるとまずステップS100において、第1始動方式でのエンジン10の始動が許可されているか否かを示す許可フラグがセットされているか否かが判定される。そして、許可フラグがセットされている場合(YES)にはステップS110において第1始動方式でのエンジン10の再始動が選択され、許可フラグがセットされていない場合(NO)にはステップS120において第2始動方式でのエンジン10の再始動が選択される。なお、許可フラグは、車両の起動時にはクリアされており、次に説明する第1始動方式許可判定ルーチンの処理の結果としてセットされる。
本実施形態では、車両の起動時には許可フラグがクリアされているため、車両起動後の最初のエンジン10の再始動は、第2始動方式で行われる。そして、その第2始動方式でのエンジン10の再始動時にクランキング開始時間TCRの測定が行われる。このとき、燃焼開始時間を超える時間がクランキング開始時間TCRとして測定された場合には、次回のエンジン10の再始動は第2始動方式により実施され、再びクランキング開始時間TCRの測定が行われる。一方、燃焼開始時間以下の時間がクランキング開始時間TCRとして測定された場合には、許可フラグがセットされて、次回以降のエンジン10の再始動が第1始動方式で行われるようになる。
(1)本実施形態では、第2始動方式によるエンジン10の再始動時にクランキング開始時間TCRの測定を行い、燃焼開始時間を超える時間がクランキング開始時間TCRとして測定されている間は第1始動方式でのエンジン10の再始動を禁止するようにしている。すなわち、膨張行程停止気筒の燃焼までにクランキングを開始できる状態となっていることが確認された場合に限り、第1始動方式でのエンジン10の再始動を行うようにしている。そのため、始動性が悪化しない範囲において第1始動方式でのエンジン10の再始動を実施することが、ひいては第1走行モードで走行可能な車両の走行領域を広げることが可能となる。
次に、ハイブリッド車両の制御装置の第2実施形態を、図8を併せ参照して詳細に説明する。なお本実施形態にあって、上記実施形態と共通する構成については、同一の符号を付してその詳細な説明は省略する。
本実施形態では、車両起動後の最初のエンジン10の再始動は第2始動方式で行われる。そして、その第2始動方式でのエンジン10の再始動中に、クランキング開始時間TCRが測定され、その測定値に応じて燃焼開始時間が設定される。
(1)本実施形態では、クランキング開始時間TCRとして測定された時間が長いほど長い時間となるように燃焼開始時間を設定して、第1始動方式でのエンジン10の再始動を実施している。そのため、クランキング開始時間TCRが長い場合にも、クランキングの開始と共に膨張行程停止気筒の燃焼を行うことが可能となる。したがって、始動性が悪化しない範囲において第1始動方式でのエンジン10の再始動を実施することが、ひいては第1走行モードで走行可能な車両の走行領域を広げることが可能となる。
・有段式の自動変速機19の代わりに無段式の自動変速機を採用してもよい。
・始動モードとして、第1始動モード、第2始動モードに加え、更なる始動モードを備えるようにしてもよい。
Claims (3)
- エンジンと車輪との動力伝達経路に設置されたモータと、前記動力伝達経路における前記エンジンと前記モータとの間の部分に設置されたクラッチと、を備え、前記クラッチを開放した状態で前記エンジンの稼働を停止するとともに、前記クラッチを締結した状態で前記エンジンを稼働して同エンジンの間欠運転を行うハイブリッド車両の制御装置において、
前記クラッチの締結を指令するとともに、同クラッチがトルク伝達を開始したときに前記エンジンの燃焼を開始する第1始動方式と、前記クラッチの締結を指令するとともに、同クラッチを介して前記モータから伝達されたトルクにより前記エンジンの回転が開始した後に同エンジンの燃焼を開始する第2始動方式と、を含む複数の始動方式の中からいずれかの始動方式を選択して前記エンジンの再始動を行う再始動制御部を備えており、
同再始動制御部は、前記第2始動方式による前記エンジンの再始動時に前記クラッチの締結を指令してから同クラッチを介したトルク伝達が開始するまでの時間であるクランキング開始時間を測定するとともに、車両起動後に同クランキング開始時間の測定が行われている場合に限り、前記第1始動方式による前記エンジンの再始動を実施する

請求項1に記載のハイブリッド車両の制御装置。 - 前記第1始動方式での前記エンジンの再始動に際して前記クラッチの締結を指令してから燃焼を開始するまでの時間を燃焼開始時間としたとき、
前記再始動制御部は、前記クランキング開始時間として測定された時間が長いほど長い時間となるように前記燃焼開始時間を設定して、前記第1始動方式での前記エンジンの再始動を実施する
