Claims (2)
- それぞれが異なる文字に対応した複数の操作キーが設けられ、前記操作キーがユーザーに操作されることによって文字入力が行われ、かつ連続して操作された前記操作キーに対応する文字の組み合わせを他の文字あるいは語に変換する変換動作が行われる入力受付装置であって、
ローマ字入力方式の前記操作キーが用いられて英語入力が行われ、
前記ユーザーが前記操作キーを操作するに際し、前記ユーザーが当該操作キーに接触しない状態から接触した状態となった第1のタイミングと、当該第1のタイミングの後で前記ユーザーが当該操作キーと接触しない状態になった第2のタイミングを認識する操作キー状態認識部と、
前記第1のタイミングからの経過時間を認識するタイマーと、
前記第1のタイミングの後で前記経過時間を表示する経過時間表示部と、
前記第2のタイミングにおいて、予め設定された待機時間に対する前記経過時間の比率が小さな場合には大文字小文字変換を行う第1の変換動作、当該比率が大きな場合には大文字小文字変換を行った上で大文字小文字変換後の語の前又は後にブランクを挿入する第2の変換動作、を切り替えて行わせる変換制御部と、
を具備することを特徴とする入力受付装置。 - 前記経過時間表示部は、前記比率を表示することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の入力受付装置。
