Claims (11)
- 照明装置(10,20)であって、
435nm未満のピーク波長を有する青色光源と蛍光体とを含む白色LEDパッケージと、
光学部品(11,21)と、を含み、
前記白色LEDパッケージによって生成された黄色光の少なくとも一部が前記光学部品(11,21)によってフィルタリングされ、
前記光学部品(11、21)が、ポリマーマトリックス材料と、前記ポリマーマトリックス材料中にドープされたネオジム化合物の粒子と、を有する複合材料を含み、前記ポリマーマトリックス材料中の前記ネオジム化合物の前記粒子の重量百分率は0.4%~8%であり、
前記ネオジム化合物がNdOxFy(ここで2x+y=3)で表されるオキシフッ化ネオジム、またはNd(OH)aFb(ここでa+b=3)で表されるフッ化水酸化ネオジム、のいずれかから選ばれ、
前記ポリマーマトリクス材料がポリカーボネート、ポリスチレン、ポリアクリレート、またはこれらの任意の組み合わせである、
照明装置(10,20)。 - 前記青色光源の前記ピーク波長は430nm未満である、請求項1に記載の照明装置(10,20)。
- 前記青色光源のピーク波長の範囲は420nm~430nmである、請求項2に記載の照明装置(10,20)。
- 前記ポリマーマトリックス材料中の前記ネオジム化合物の前記粒子の前記重量百分率は2%~8%である、請求項1に記載の照明装置(10,20)。
- 前記ポリマーマトリックス材料中の前記ネオジム化合物の前記粒子の前記重量百分率は4%~6%である、請求項4に記載の照明装置(10,20)。
- 前記光学部品(11,21)の厚さは、1mm~14mmの範囲である、請求項1に記載の照明装置(10,20)。
- 前記光学部品(11,21)の厚さは、1mm~9mmの範囲である、請求項6に記載の照明装置(10,20)。
- 光拡散のために前記ポリマーマトリックス材料中にドープされた添加物の粒子を含む、請求項1に記載の照明装置(10,20)。
- 前記ポリマーマトリックス材料と前記ネオジム化合物の前記粒子との屈折率の差が、可視光領域において0.1未満である、請求項1に記載の照明装置(10,20)。
- 複合材料中のネオジム化合物の粒子のドーピング濃度を決定するための方法(30)であって、
前記複合材料を通過する可視光の比色特性と前記複合材料中のネオジム化合物の粒子のドーピング濃度との第1のマッピング関係を予め決定するステップ(31)と、
前記第1のマッピング関係に基づいて、所望の比色特性に対応する前記複合材料中のネオジム化合物の粒子のドーピング濃度を決定するステップ(32)と、を含み、
前記ネオジム化合物がフッ化ネオジム、NdO x F y (ここで2x+y=3)で表されるオキシフッ化ネオジム、またはNd(OH) a F b (ここでa+b=3)で表されるフッ化水酸化ネオジム、のいずれかから選ばれる、
方法(30)。 - 前記関係を予め決定するステップ(31)は、
白色光源によって生成された光を第1の複合材料に通して第1の比色特性を得るステップ(311)と、
前記白色光源によって生成された光を第2の複合材料に通して第2の比色特性を得るステップ(312)であって、前記第1の複合材料と前記第2の複合材料は、同じ厚さを有し、かつ、ネオジム化合物の粒子の異なるドーピング濃度を有する、ステップ(312)と、
前記第1および第2の比色特性に基づいて前記第1のマッピング関係を決定するステップ(313)と、を含む、請求項10に記載の方法(30)。
