- 走行用の駆動源として使用されるモータと、該モータを収容する収容筐体と、を有する モータユニットを車両内に備え、前記モータは、回転軸線回りに回転可能に配置されているロータと、該ロータの外周側に配置されているステータと、該ステータに設けられ走行 中に電気が流れる動力線と、を有する、車両において、
前記収容筐体のうち車両衝突時に受ける衝突荷重が他の部位に比べて大きい部位の壁面と、前記ステータの外周面とが面接触し、
前記収容筐体の壁面のうち前記ステータの外周面と面接触する前記部位は、前記ステー タの外周面に向かい合う壁面において前記ステータの周方向で複数箇所形成され、
前記収容筐体のうち前記ステータの外周面に向かい合う壁面における前記部位と異なる 前記他の部位の壁面と、前記ステータの外周面と、の間に空間が形成され、
前記収容筐体のうち前記ステータの外周面に向かい合う壁面における前記ステータの外 周面と面接触する前記部位は、前記収容筐体のうち前記ステータの外周面に向かい合う壁 面における前記他の部位の壁の厚みよりも、前記ステータの外周面に向かい合う壁面が面 接触可能になる分だけ厚い壁の厚みを有している
