Description
A.材料の準備
ランダムに配向した多数のガラス繊維からなる繊維材料シート(ガラスペーパー)2枚を用意した。使用したガラスペーパーは、オリベスト株式会社製の「グラベストSYS−80」である。使用したガラスペーパーは、その厚みが0.57mm、目付重量が80g/m2、空隙率が95%であった。
図4に示すように、厚さ0.6mmの熱膨張性マイクロカプセル配合未加硫フッ素ゴムシート40を2枚のガラスペーパー41で挟み込み、それらを熱プレスで加圧して一体化した。
圧力:4MPa
加圧時間:温間で60分+冷間で40分
C.マイクロカプセルの膨張およびゴムの加硫
一体化した繊維−ゴム複合体シート50(図5)を、加熱オーブン内で昇温して所定時間保持し、熱膨張性マイクロカプセルを膨張させ、さらにフッ素ゴムの加硫、ベーキングを行った。加熱オーブンの温度および保持時間は230℃×5hとした。熱膨張性マイクロカプセルは昇温過程で膨張し、繊維−ゴム複合体シート50中に多数の独立気孔を形成した。繊維−ゴム複合体シート50のゴムに対する繊維材料の体積比率は、1/9.5であった。
図5に示すように、繊維−ゴム複合体シート50の両面に、フッ素ゴムシート51(厚み50μm)を介してフッ素フィルム(厚み12μm)52を加熱プレスによって貼り合わせ、実施例サンプル1を得た。
実施例サンプル1で用いた熱膨張性マイクロカプセルを、フッ素ゴム100部に対して5部配合し、厚み0.5mmの未加硫フッ素ゴムシートを準備した。
実施例サンプル1で用いた熱膨張性マイクロカプセルを、フッ素ゴム100部に対して3部配合し、厚み0.6mmの未加硫フッ素ゴムシートを準備した。
実施例サンプル1で用いた熱膨張性マイクロカプセルを、フッ素ゴム100部に対して7部配合し、厚み0.6mmの未加硫フッ素ゴムシートを準備した。
実施例サンプル1〜4について、熱膨張性マイクロカプセルの配合量、未加硫フッ素ゴムシートの厚み、一次プレス後の厚み、膨張・加硫処理後の厚み、二次プレス後の厚みを以下の表1に示す。
フッ素ゴムに対して熱膨張性マイクロカプセルを配合しなかった点を除き、実施例サンプル1と同じ条件で、図6に示す比較例サンプル1を得た。繊維−ゴム複合体シート60中には、独立気孔が形成されていない。繊維−ゴム複合体シート60のゴムに対する繊維材料の体積比率は、1/9.5であった。
図7に示すように、補強材として作用する芳香族ポリアミド繊維からなるアラミドクロス71の両面にフッ素ゴム(厚み0.5mm、デュロメータA硬度60°)72を一体化させた繊維−ゴム複合体シート70の両面にフッ素フィルム73(厚み25μm)を貼り合わせたものである。繊維−ゴム複合体シート70中には、独立気孔が形成されていない。
オリベスト株式会社製のガラスペーパー「グラベストSYS−80」にフッ素ゴムを含浸させた繊維−ゴム複合体シートであり、内部に空隙(連続気孔)を有している。この繊維−ゴム複合体シートは、特許第4843396号公報に記載されている。繊維−ゴム複合体シートの空隙率は85%であり、ゴムに対する繊維材料の体積比率は1/2.2であり、厚みは0.64mmであった。
図8に示すように、目付重量190g/m2のクラフトペーパー3枚を重ねた積層体80の片面に熱可塑性フィルム81を貼り合わせたものである。
内部に多数の独立気孔91を有するフッ素ゴムシート90である。フッ素ゴムシート90中には、繊維が含まれていない。フッ素ゴムシートの厚みは1mmであり、その硬度(デュロメータA硬度)は22°であった。
プレス試験により、サンプルの凹凸追従性を評価した。図10は、プレスの構成を図解的に示す図である。
圧力:2MPa
加圧時間:温間で60分+冷間で15分
図11は、プレス1回後のポリイミドフィルム106の段差部の写真である。
評価対象サンプルの構造および凹凸追従性の評価結果を以下の表2に示す。
図13は、図5に示した構造の実施例サンプル1の断面写真である。繊維−ゴム複合体シートの両面に、50μm厚のフッ素ゴム層を介して12μmのフッ素フィルムが貼り合わされている。
本発明に係る熱プレス用クッション材の形態としては、種々のものが考えられる。一つの形態は、図1に示したように、多数の繊維1からなる繊維材料と、繊維1間の空隙に入り込んだゴム2と、ゴム2中に分散して存在する独立気孔3とを備えた繊維−ゴム複合体シートである。
A.材料の準備
ランダムに配向した多数のガラス繊維からなる繊維材料シート(ガラスペーパー)を用意した。使用したガラスペーパーは、オリベスト株式会社製の「グラベストSYS−80」であり、その厚みが0.57mm、目付重量が80g/m2、空隙率が95%であった。
粒子径(膨張前):10〜16μm
熱膨張開始温度:123〜133℃
熱膨張Max温度:168〜178℃
粒子径(膨張前):28〜38μm
熱膨張開始温度:123〜133℃
熱膨張Max温度:194〜206℃
図21は、図19に示した構造の実施例サンプル5の断面写真である。写真から明らかなように、厚み方向の中央に位置する繊維ゴム複合層(ゴム+繊維+独立気孔)中に独立気孔が存在し、上下のゴム層(ゴム+独立気孔)中にも独立気孔が存在している。
実施例サンプル5が実施例サンプル1と異なっているのは、以下の点である。
(a)実施例サンプル1では、繊維ゴム複合層(繊維−ゴム複合体シート)50の上下に位置するフッ素ゴム層51中には独立気孔が存在していない。それに対し、実施例サンプル5では、繊維ゴム複合層121の上下に位置するゴム層122,123中に独立気孔が存在している。
(b)製造過程において、実施例サンプル1では、繊維ゴム複合層(繊維−ゴム複合体シート)50の表面および裏面に厚み50μmのフッ素ゴムシート51を貼り合せたものであるが、実施例サンプル5では、上下に位置するフッ素ゴムシート20の一部が繊維材料シート(ガラスペーパー)10の繊維間の空隙に入り込んで繊維ゴム複合層121を形成し、残りの部分が上下のゴム層122,123を形成している。
(c)実施例サンプル1では、使用した熱膨張性マイクロカプセル「エクスパンセル920−DU40」の膨張前の粒子径が10〜16μmであるのに対し、実施例サンプル5では、使用した熱膨張性マイクロカプセル「エクスパンセル920−DU120」の膨張前の粒子径が28〜38μmである。そのため、実施例サンプル5の独立気孔のサイズは、実施例サンプル1の独立気孔よりも大きい。
実施例サンプル1および実施例サンプル5に対して、プレス試験により、繰り返しのプレスに対する厚みの変化および空隙率の変化を測定するとともに、それらの凹凸追従性を評価した。試験に使用したプレスの構成は、図10に示したものと実質的に同じであるが、スペーサ104の厚みを変更した。すなわち、今回の試験で使用したスペーサ104は、その厚みが0.2mmであり、0.5mmのスリットを有している。

加圧時間:温間で60分+冷間で15分
実施例サンプル1および実施例サンプル5に対する測定結果および評価結果を以下の表3に示す。
Claims (14)
- ランダムに配向した多数本の繊維からなる繊維材料と、
前記繊維材料の繊維間の空隙に入り込んだゴムと、
前記ゴム中に分散して存在する独立気孔とを備え、
前記繊維材料の繊維間の空隙に入り込んだゴムに対する前記繊維材料の体積比率が、1/15以上、1/7.5未満であり、
前記独立気孔は、周囲が完全に封鎖された独立気泡である、熱プレス用クッション材。 - 前記熱プレス用クッション材の気孔率が、体積基準で、15〜70%である、請求項1に記載の熱プレス用クッション材。
- 前記独立気孔は、前記ゴム中に分散配置された熱膨張性マイクロカプセルが膨張して形成されたものである、請求項1または2に記載の熱プレス用クッション材。
- 前記繊維材料は、ガラス、ロックウール、炭素、ポリベンザゾール、ポリイミド、芳香族ポリアミドおよびポリアミドからなる群から選択された1種または2種以上の材料を含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の熱プレス用クッション材。
- 前記ゴムは、フッ素ゴム、EPM、EPDM、水素化ニトリルゴム、シリコーンゴム、アクリルゴムおよびブチルゴムからなる群から選択された1種または2種以上の材料を含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の熱プレス用クッション材。
- 前記繊維材料の層の上方および下方のいずれか一方側に位置する一方側ゴム層を含み、
前記一方側ゴム層は、内部に分散して存在する独立気孔を備える、請求項1に記載の熱プレス用クッション材。 - 前記繊維材料の層の上方および下方の他方側に位置する他方側ゴム層を含み、
前記他方側ゴム層は、内部に分散して存在する独立気孔を備える、請求項6に記載の熱プレス用クッション材。 - ランダムに配向した多数本の繊維からなる繊維材料と、
前記繊維材料の繊維間の空隙に入り込んだゴムと、
前記ゴム中に分散して存在する独立気孔と、
前記繊維材料の層の上方および下方のいずれか一方側に位置する一方側ゴム層と、
前記一方側ゴム層中に分散して存在する独立気孔と、
前記繊維材料の層の上方および下方の他方側に位置する他方側ゴム層と、
前記他方側ゴム層中に分散して存在する独立気孔とを備え、
前記ゴム、前記一方側ゴム層および前記他方側ゴム層の全体ゴムに対する前記繊維材料の体積比率が、1/75以上、1/15未満であり、
当該熱プレス用クッション材の気孔率が、体積基準で、15〜70%であり、
前記独立気孔は、周囲が完全に封鎖された独立気泡である、熱プレス用クッション材。 - ランダムに配向した多数本の繊維からなる繊維材料と、
前記繊維材料の繊維間の空隙に入り込んだゴムと、
前記ゴム中に分散して存在する独立気孔と、
前記繊維材料の層の上方および下方のいずれか一方側に位置する一方側ゴム層と、
前記一方側ゴム層中に分散して存在する独立気孔と、
前記繊維材料の層の上方および下方の他方側に位置する他方側ゴム層と、
前記他方側ゴム層中に分散して存在する独立気孔とを備え、
前記上下のゴム層の合計厚みに対する前記繊維材料の層の厚みの比率は、1/7〜1/1.5であり、
前記独立気孔は、周囲が完全に封鎖された独立気泡である、熱プレス用クッション材。 - ランダムに配向した多数の繊維からなる繊維材料シートと、内部に熱膨張性マイクロカプセルを分散配置した未加硫ゴムシートとを重ね合せる工程と、
重ね合せた前記繊維材料シートと前記未加硫ゴムシートとを加圧して、前記未加硫ゴムシート中の未加硫ゴムおよびマイクロカプセルを前記繊維材料シートの繊維間の空隙に入り込ませて一体化した複合体とする工程と、
前記一体化した複合体を加熱して、前記マイクロカプセルを膨張させて周囲が完全に封鎖された独立気孔を形成する工程と、
前記一体化した複合体を加熱して複合体中の未加硫ゴムを加硫する工程とを備える、熱プレス用クッション材の製造方法。 - 前記重ね合せる工程は、前記未加硫ゴムシートを前記繊維材料シートの2枚で挟み込むことを含む、請求項10に記載の熱プレス用クッション材の製造方法。
- 前記繊維材料シートと前記未加硫ゴムシートとを加圧によって一体化する工程を、第1の温度で行い、
前記独立気孔を形成する工程を、前記第1の温度よりも高い第2の温度で行い、
前記加硫する工程を、前記第2の温度よりも高い第3の温度で行う、請求項10または11に記載の熱プレス用クッション材の製造方法。 - 前記重ね合わせる工程は、前記繊維材料シートを前記未加硫ゴムシートの2枚で挟み込むことを含む、請求項10に記載の熱プレス用クッション材の製造方法。
- 前記一体化した複合体とする工程は、前記マイクロカプセルを含む前記未加硫ゴムシートの一部を前記繊維材料シートの繊維間の空隙に入り込ませ、残りの部分を前記繊維材料シートの外に位置させることを含む、請求項13に記載の熱プレス用クッション材の製造方法。
