Description
前記細溝のタイヤ幅方向の断面形状は、トレッド踏面からタイヤ径方向内側へ向かってタイヤ赤道面に平行に延びる第1溝部と、
前記第1溝部よりもタイヤ径方向内側かつタイヤ赤道面側に設けられ、タイヤ赤道面に平行に延びる第2溝部と、
前記第1溝部のタイヤ径方向内側の端部と前記第2溝部のトレッド踏面側の端部とに接続される連結部と、を備えることを特徴とする。
(1)前述の実施形態では、連結部23を直線状としているが、曲線状でもよい。
テストタイヤ(295/75R22.5)を、リムサイズ22.5×8.25のホイールに空気圧760kPa(TRA規定内圧)で組み付け、速度80km/h、荷重27.5kN(TRA100%荷重)の条件で走行試験を実施した。ショルダー陸部摩耗量のセンター陸部摩耗量に対する比の逆数を、比較例1を100とした指数で示した。値が大きいほど、耐偏摩耗性に優れる。
耐偏摩耗性と同じ条件で走行試験を実施し、5万km走行した時点での石噛みの個数を測定し指数評価した。比較例1を100とし、100より大きいほど耐石噛み性に優れる。
図1に示す細溝2を設けたショルダー陸部1を備える空気入りタイヤを製造した。かかる空気入りタイヤを用いて、上記評価を行った結果を表1に示す。
第1溝部21と連結部23のなす角度θ及び第2溝部22と連結部23のなす角度θを実施例1と異ならせた以外は、実施例1と同じ構成を有する空気入りタイヤを製造した。かかる空気入りタイヤを用いて、上記評価を行った結果を表1に示す。
図3に示す細溝を設けたショルダー陸部を備える空気入りタイヤを製造した。かかる空気入りタイヤを用いて、上記評価を行った結果を表1に示す。
図4に示す細溝を設けたショルダー陸部を備える空気入りタイヤを製造した。かかる空気入りタイヤを用いて、上記評価を行った結果を表1に示す。

Claims (3)
- トレッド踏面に、タイヤ周方向に延びるショルダー陸部と、前記ショルダー陸部の接地端よりもタイヤ赤道面側にてタイヤ周方向に延び、前記ショルダー陸部をタイヤ赤道面側のメイン陸部と接地端側のサブ陸部とに区分する細溝と、を有する空気入りタイヤにおいて、
前記細溝のタイヤ幅方向の断面形状は、トレッド踏面からタイヤ径方向内側へ向かってタイヤ赤道面に平行に延びる第1溝部と、
前記第1溝部よりもタイヤ径方向内側かつタイヤ赤道面側に設けられ、タイヤ赤道面に平行に延びる第2溝部と、
前記第1溝部のタイヤ径方向内側の端部と前記第2溝部のトレッド踏面側の端部とに接続される連結部と、を備え、
前記第2溝部のトレッド踏面側の端部は、前記第1溝部のタイヤ径方向内側の端部よりもタイヤ径方向内側に位置し、前記連結部は直線状であり、
前記第1溝部と前記連結部のなす角度及び前記第2溝部と前記連結部のなす角度は、130〜160度であることを特徴とする空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記第1溝部の溝幅中心と前記第2溝部の溝幅中心とのタイヤ幅方向の距離は、前記第1溝部の溝幅の0.3〜1.0倍であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記第1溝部の溝壁と前記連結部の溝壁との接続部位、及び前記第2溝部の溝壁と前記連結部の溝壁との接続部位は、曲率半径2〜4mmの円弧で構成されることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
