Description
The present invention relates to grommets.
Conventionally, when an electric wire is routed between the engine room side and the passenger compartment side through a hole in a car body panel that separates the engine room and the passenger compartment of an automobile, a grommet is arranged between the electric wire and the hole in the car body panel. By doing so, it is possible to prevent water and dust from entering through the gap between the electric wire and the through hole.
FIG. 8 is a diagram showing a conventional grommet disclosed in
In the
However, in the
The present invention provides a grommet that suppresses disconnection from the hole when the electric wire is pulled in the direction opposite to the insertion direction of the panel into the hole.
In order to solve the above object, the present invention has the following configuration.
That is, the present invention according to
According to the third aspect of the present invention, in the present invention according to the first or second aspect, the second tubular portion suppresses the radial movement of the continuous portion in the second tubular portion. It is characterized in that the movement suppressing portion is provided for the movement suppressing portion, and the continuous portion is connected to the movement suppressing portion.
The invention according to
According to the first aspect of the invention, the continuous portion continuous with the second tubular portion of the connecting portion is located on the first tubular portion side of the peripheral groove, and the connecting portion is the first tubular portion. The first tubular portion can be displaced at a protruding position separated from the panel in the axial direction of the above and a retracted position closer to the panel than the protruding position. As a result, when the electric wire mounted on the first tubular portion is pulled toward the panel, the first tubular portion is displaced between the protruding position and the retracted position, thereby acting on the peripheral groove vicinity portion. The tensile force is absorbed. As a result, deformation in the vicinity of the peripheral groove is suppressed. Therefore, when the electric wire mounted on the first tubular portion is pulled toward the panel side, it is possible to prevent the peripheral groove from coming off from the hole portion of the panel.
Further, the continuous portion is connected to the inner peripheral surface of the second tubular portion at a position shifted from the end portion separated from the panel toward the panel side. As a result, when the electric wire mounted on the first tubular portion is pulled toward the panel side, the tensile force acts directly on the peripheral groove vicinity portion via the first tubular portion and the connecting portion. Therefore, the vicinity of the peripheral groove is less likely to be deformed. Therefore, when the electric wire mounted on the first tubular portion is pulled toward the panel, it is possible to further prevent the peripheral groove from coming off from the hole portion of the panel.
According to the third aspect of the present invention, the second tubular portion includes a movement suppressing portion for suppressing radial movement of the continuous portion in the second tubular portion, and the movement suppressing portion has a continuous portion. When the electric wire attached to the first tubular portion is pulled toward the panel, the connecting portion is displaced from the protruding position to the retracted position, so that a tensile force is applied to the continuous portion. The first tubular portion can be moved from the protruding position to the protruding position without any need. As a result, it is possible to increase the distance for the first tubular portion to move without applying a tensile force to the continuous portion, so that when the electric wire attached to the first tubular portion is pulled toward the panel side, , It is possible to further prevent the peripheral groove from coming off from the hole of the panel.
According to the invention described in
The grommet according to the embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 4.
FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view showing a grommet according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the grommet shown in FIG. FIG. 3 is a perspective view showing a cross section of a main part of the grommet shown in FIG. 4A and 4B are cross-sectional views of the grommet shown in FIG. 1, FIG. 4A is a view showing a state in which the first tubular portion is in a protruding position, and FIG. 4B is a view in which the first tubular portion is in a protruding position. It is a figure which shows the state which is in a retracted position. In FIG. 3, a part of the first tubular portion is omitted.
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the grommet is mounted on a vehicle in the present embodiment, is formed in a tubular shape, and has a body panel P (a body panel P) that partitions a space with an electric wire 2 inserted inside. It is attached to a hole (not shown) which is a through hole formed in a panel (shown in FIG. 1) to support the electric wire 2 and protect it from the outside. The electric wire 2 is inserted into the hole and arranged to electrically connect the parts installed in each of the two spaces partitioned by the vehicle body panel P. In the present specification, the term "electric wire" refers to a single electric wire or a general term for a bundle of electric wires formed by bundling a plurality of electric wires.
Here, the vehicle body panel P is a substantially plate-shaped member that separates the vehicle interior from the engine room and the trunk room in the vehicle, and the hole portion formed in the vehicle body panel is formed in a circular shape in the present embodiment. However, it may have an elliptical shape.
The
Here, the arrows Y and X shown in FIG. 1 and the like indicate directions orthogonal to each other. In the following description, the arrow Y shown in FIG. 1 and the like indicates the axial direction of the first
A plurality of first tubular portions 3 (2 in this embodiment) are provided. The lower end edge of each of the first
Further, the first
When the electric wire 2 is attached to such a first
As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the second
The peripheral groove 40 is provided in a substantially central portion of the second
The
By providing such a first support portion 41 (movement suppression portion), when the electric wire 2 mounted on the first
The
As shown in FIG. 4, the connecting
In the present specification, the "upper position" means that the lower end of the first
According to such a
Further, since the connecting
In the
Subsequently, the
The above-described embodiments merely show typical embodiments of the present invention, and the present invention is not limited to the embodiments. That is, those skilled in the art can carry out various modifications according to conventionally known knowledge within a range that does not deviate from the gist of the present invention. As long as the grommet configuration of the present invention is still provided by such deformation, it is, of course, included in the category of the present invention.
