Claims (2)
- 燃料タンク内の蒸発燃料をキャニスタに一時的に吸着させ、上記キャニスタから脱離した蒸発燃料を含むパージガスをパージ通路を通して内燃機関の吸気系へ供給する内燃機関の蒸発燃料処理装置において、
上記内燃機関の吸気通路に生じる吸気脈動に応答するポンプ作用を用いて、上記パージガスを吸気系へ供給する脈動ポンプを備え、
この脈動ポンプは、
第1容積室と、
この第1容積室と上記吸気通路とを連通する連通路と、
上記第1容積室を密閉する壁部の少なくとも一部を構成し、上記第1容積室の圧力変動に応答して変位する弾性体と、
この弾性体を囲むように形成された第2容積室と、
この第2容積室内へのガスの流入を許容する逆止弁を備えた吸入ポートと、
上記第2容積室内からのガスの流出を許容する逆止弁を備えた吐出ポートと、
を有し、
上記パージ通路に、上記パージガスを搬送するエジェクタが設けられ、
上記吸入ポートから吸入した空気を上記吐出ポートから上記エジェクタへ作動ガスとして供給するように構成したことを特徴とする内燃機関の蒸発燃料処理装置。 - 上記内燃機関へ供給される吸気を加圧する過給機のコンプレッサを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の蒸発燃料処理装置。
