本発明は上記の実施の形態例に限定されず、種々の変形が可能である。例えば、本実施の形態例に係る抵抗器において沿面距離を確保するための電極形状および抵抗体形状は、図5に示す例に限定されない。

Claims (7)
- 絶縁基板上に抵抗体と一対の電極を形成してなる抵抗基板と、
少なくとも前記抵抗基板の上面と側面を覆う絶縁性の外装材と、
一方端部が前記一対の電極それぞれに接続されるとともに前記外装材を貫通して外部に延出する一対の外部接続導体とを備え、
前記一対の電極は前記絶縁基板の端部を避けて形成されており、
前記絶縁基板の端部よりも内側に配置され、前記一対の電極上において該一対の電極と前記一対の外部接続導体の前記一方端部とを接合する接合部を設け、
前記抵抗基板の前記上面全体を覆い、かつ前記接合部のみを露出させる絶縁性の保護膜を形成し、
前記接合部は、該接合部から前記保護膜を介して前記絶縁基板の底面端部に至る沿面距離が所定距離以上となる位置にあることを特徴とする抵抗器。 - 前記所定距離は前記接合部と前記絶縁基板の底面に接する外部導体との電気的絶縁を確保できる最小距離であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の抵抗器。
- 前記接合部は前記一対の電極それぞれの一部を前記絶縁基板の内側に向けて突出させた凸部であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の抵抗器。
- 前記抵抗体は、前記一対の電極の形状に応じた形状を有しながら該一対の電極間を跨ぐように形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の抵抗器。
- 前記抵抗体は前記一対の電極それぞれの外周を取り囲むように形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の抵抗器。
- 前記抵抗体は角部を持たない渦巻状であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の抵抗器。
- 前記一対の外部接続導体は導線に絶縁性の被覆を施した、可撓性を有するハーネス電線であることを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の抵抗器。
