制御回路17は、制御基板18上に実装されており、例えば、マイコンを主体に構成される。制御回路17は、各半導体リレー46A〜46Dの駆動を制御する制御信号を、各半導体リレー46A〜46Dに出力する。制御信号は、例えば、一対の半導体リレー46A,46Bによる電路4の遮断及び接続、一対の半導体リレー46C,46Dによる電路5の遮断及び接続を行わせるものが含まれる。制御回路17は、半導体リレー46から入力される検出信号に基づいて、制御信号を出力することができる。本実施形態の制御回路17は、銅パターン61BにおけるCD2点間の抵抗値Rbridgeおよび電位差Vsensを利用して、下式(3)により通電電流ILを算出する。銅パターン61Bは、温度が上がると、抵抗値Rbridgeが上がる温度特性を有する。抵抗値Rbridgeは、図19に示す銅パターン61Bの抵抗値Rbridgeの温度特性から得ることができる。図19に示す温度特性は、縦軸が銅パターン61Bの抵抗値Rbridge[Ω]、横軸が銅パターン61Bの温度T[℃]である。ここで、R0[Ω]をT0[℃]における銅パターン61Bの抵抗値、α[1/℃]を温度係数、T[℃]を温度センサ57で検出される銅パターン61Bの温度、T0[℃]を銅パターン61Bの基準温度とすると、T[℃]における抵抗値Rbridgeは、下式(4)で表される。

次に、本実施形態に係る車両用電流検出装置10における電流検出動作の一例について説明する。まず、制御回路17は、受信した検出信号に基づいて、半導体リレー46A〜46Dの開閉状態を識別し、電路4または電路5が通電しているか否かを判定する。次に、制御回路17は、電路4または電路5が通電している状態において、検出信号から電位差Vsens、温度T[℃]を取得する。制御回路17は、温度T[℃]に基づいて、図19に示す温度特性から銅パターン61Bの抵抗値Rbridgeを特定する。次に、制御回路17は、抵抗値Rbridgeと電位差Vsensとにより、通電電流ILを算出する。制御回路17は、例えば、通電電流ILに基づく制御信号を、半導体リレー46A〜46Dのいずれかに出力して、半導体リレー46A〜46Dの駆動を制御する。
