Description
以下、ワイヤハーネスの第一の実施形態を図面に従って説明する。上記従来例と同一構成部分は同一符号を付して説明する。
接続部10は、単芯線5の接続端部5aを平板状に打ち延ばした後に、単芯線5及び撚線6の接続端部5a,6aが超音波溶着される。次いで、接続端部5a,6aを筒状部材11で被覆し、さらに熱収縮チューブ7で被覆する。そして、熱収縮チューブ7を加熱して収縮させると、接続部10が熱収縮チューブ7で密封される。
従って、熱収縮チューブ7が接続端部5a,6a、特に撚線6の接続端部6aのエッジ部8に圧着されないので、熱収縮チューブ7が破れることはない。
(1)単芯線5及び撚線6の接続端部5a,6aの溶着部分を筒状部材11で覆い、その筒状部材11及び筒状部材11の長手方向両側の単芯線電線1及び撚線電線2の被覆3,4まで熱収縮チューブ7で覆うようにしたので、熱収縮チューブ7が接続端部6aのエッジ部8に圧着されることはない。従って、熱収縮チューブ7の損傷を抑制して、単芯線電線1と撚線電線2との接続部10の止水性を向上させることができる。
図3は、第二の実施形態を示す。この実施形態は、接続端部5a,6aを覆う筒状部材11を単芯線電線1及び撚線電線2の被覆3,4の端部を覆う位置まで延長したものである。
(第三の実施形態)
図4及び図5は、第三の実施形態を示す。この実施形態の接続部10は、単芯線電線1の接続端部5a上に撚線電線2の接続端部6aを超音波溶着するとき、接続端部6a上に金属プレート12を載せて、接続端部6aとともに接続端部5aに超音波溶着されている。
そして、溶着された接続端部5a,6aと金属プレート12を覆うように熱収縮チューブ7を被せ、熱収縮させると、接続部10が熱収縮チューブ7で密封される。
(1)接続端部5aと金属プレート12との間で超音波溶着された接続端部6aのエッジ部8は、接続端部と5aと金属プレート12との間に挟まれているので、熱収縮チューブ7が圧着されにくい。従って、熱収縮チューブ7の損傷を抑制して、単芯線電線1と撚線電線2との接続部10の止水性を向上させることができる。
・第一及び第二の実施形態の筒状部材は、円筒形以外の断面多角形状の筒体としてもよい。
Claims (1)
- 単芯線電線と撚線電線の接続端部を溶着して熱収縮チューブで覆った接続部を備えたワイヤハーネスにおいて、
前記接続部には、前記撚線電線の接続端部と前記熱収縮チューブとの間に、前記撚線電線の接続端部を前記熱収縮チューブから隔離する隔離部材を備え、
前記隔離部材は、前記撚線電線の接続端部のエッジ部を、前記単芯線電線の接続端部とで覆うように挟む金属板としたことを特徴とするワイヤハーネス。
