Claims (11)
- エンジンの排気ガスを浄化する触媒と、
前記エンジンの排気ガス成分を検出する排気ガスセンサと、
前記エンジンの下部に設けられ、凹部が形成されたオイルパンと、
排気ガスの流量を調整する排気制御バルブと、を備え、
前記触媒は、前記エンジンの下方で前記凹部に沿うように配置され、
前記排気ガスセンサは、前記触媒の上流側に設けられる上流側センサと、前記触媒の下流側に設けられる下流側センサと、を有し、前記エンジンの前後幅内で、前記触媒を前後で挟むように配置され、
前記オイルパンは、側面視において前記上流側センサと前記下流側センサとの間に位置し、
前記排気制御バルブは、前記上流側センサと、前記触媒との間に設けられ、
前記上流側センサ、前記排気制御バルブ、前記触媒及び前記下流側センサは、略同一直線上に配置されることを特徴とする排気ガスセンサの配置構造。 - 前記触媒の下流側に接続されるチャンバを更に備え、
前記チャンバの前面には凹部が形成され、
前記下流側センサは、前記チャンバの凹部に取り付けられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の排気ガスセンサの配置構造。 - 前記オイルパンの凹部は、車幅方向で前記チャンバの凹部と同じ側に偏って設けられることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の排気ガスセンサの配置構造。
- 前記下流側センサは、正面視において、前記チャンバの車幅方向の幅内に配置されることを特徴とする請求項2又は請求項3に記載の排気ガスセンサの配置構造。
- 前記触媒は、ハニカム部と、当該ハニカム部を覆う外筒部と、を有し、
前記外筒部は、前記ハニカム部よりも下流で前記チャンバ内まで延びており、
前記下流側センサは、前記チャンバ内の前記外筒部に取り付けられることを特徴とする請求項2から請求項4のいずれかに記載の排気ガスセンサの配置構造。 - 前記触媒の下流側に接続されるチャンバを更に備え、
前記チャンバは、前記触媒通過後の排気ガスを前記下流側センサに導く誘導パイプを有し、
前記誘導パイプは、前記触媒の下流端に重なるように設けられ、
前記下流側センサは、前記誘導パイプに取り付けられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の排気ガスセンサの配置構造。 - 前記誘導パイプは、前記チャンバの上流側の外壁に沿って配設され、
前記下流側センサは、前記外壁及び前記誘導パイプを貫通するように取り付けられることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の排気ガスセンサの配置構造。 - エンジンの排気ガスを浄化する触媒と、
前記エンジンの排気ガス成分を検出する排気ガスセンサと、
前記エンジンの下部に設けられ、凹部が形成されたオイルパンと、
前記触媒の下流側に接続されるチャンバを備え、
前記触媒は、前記エンジンの下方で前記凹部に沿うように配置され、
前記排気ガスセンサは、前記触媒の上流側に設けられる上流側センサと、前記触媒の下流側に設けられる下流側センサと、を有し、前記エンジンの前後幅内で、前記触媒を前後で挟むように配置され、
前記オイルパンは、側面視において前記上流側センサと前記下流側センサとの間に位置し、
前記チャンバは、前記触媒通過後の排気ガスを前記下流側センサに導く誘導壁を有し、
前記誘導壁は、前記チャンバ内の空間の一部を仕切るように形成され、
前記下流側センサは、前記誘導壁によって仕切られた所定空間内に配置されることを特徴とする排気ガスセンサの配置構造。 - 前記誘導壁は、前記チャンバの上流側の外壁に沿って形成され、
前記下流側センサは、前記外壁を貫通するように取り付けられることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の排気ガスセンサの配置構造。 - 前記触媒の下流側に接続されるチャンバを更に備え、
前記触媒は、ハニカム部と、当該ハニカム部を覆う外筒部と、を有し、
前記ハニカム部は、前記外筒部内で複数に分割されており、
前記下流側センサは、複数に分割された前記ハニカム部の間に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の排気ガスセンサの配置構造。 - 前記触媒の下流側に接続されるチャンバを更に備え、
前記触媒は、前記チャンバの前方で前記エンジンの下方に配置される第1触媒と、前記チャンバ内に配置される第2触媒と、を有し、
前記下流側センサは、前記第1触媒と前記第2触媒との間に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の排気ガスセンサの配置構造。
