Description
The present invention relates to an electronic component mounting apparatus that mounts an electronic component on a substrate and a component suction nozzle that suction-holds an electronic component in the electronic component mounting apparatus.
As a component holding unit in an electronic component mounting apparatus that mounts electronic components on a substrate, a component suction nozzle (hereinafter simply referred to as “nozzle”) that holds an electronic component by using a suction force generated by a negative pressure generation source. Is widely used. In the component mounting operation, when the component is picked up by adhering the nozzle to the electronic component and sucking and holding it, or when mounting the component that lowers the nozzle holding the electronic component with respect to the substrate and lands the component on the substrate, the electronic component An impact force is applied along with the operation of the nozzle.
Since such impact force may cause damage to electronic components or displacement of mounting position, the nozzle main body, which is abutting against electronic components and adsorbed, is vertically arranged as a buffer mechanism for absorbing such impacts. A structure is used in which the nozzle body is movable and biases the nozzle body downward by an elastic body such as a coil spring. In this buffer mechanism, in order to avoid the negative pressure acting on the nozzle body itself from affecting the buffering effect of the elastic body, there is known a configuration in which the upper portion of the nozzle body is cut off from the vacuum supply route to atmospheric pressure. (For example, see

With the progress of miniaturization of electronic devices, the components to be mounted have become more miniaturized, and in order to prevent damage to the components during the component mounting operation, further reduction of impact by the component suction nozzle is required. Is becoming However, the conventional techniques including the above-mentioned patent documents have the following problems in realizing the reduction of impact. First, in

Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. First, the configuration of the electronic
Y-axis moving tables 6 are arranged in the Y-direction at both ends of the base 1a in the X-direction, and two X-axis moving tables 7 are installed on the Y-axis moving table 6. A mounting
A
Next, the configuration of the mounting
Each
Next, the configurations and functions of the
As shown in FIG. 3A, the vacuum supply passage in the
As shown in FIGS. 3A and 3B, in the
The
When the
That is, the upper end of the
Hereinafter, the detailed configuration of the component suction nozzle in each example of the present embodiment will be described with reference to the drawings. First, the
5 and 6, the
A nozzle
As shown in FIGS. 5 and 7, a pair of
The axial range of the
That is, by operating the negative
As shown in FIG. 6, a
In this configuration, the nozzle
That is, the
By adopting such a configuration, in comparison with the conventional configuration in which the rotation prevention mechanism and the vacuum suction path for vacuum introduction are configured in series in the nozzle body, and the coil spring for biasing is arranged above the rotation prevention mechanism. Thus, the length size of the
Inside the nozzle
The
FIG. 8 shows the behavior of the
Next, in FIG. 8B, the
Next, in FIG. 8C, the
In this component mounting operation, even if there is variation due to warpage or the like in the height position of the upper surface of the
Next, the
First, with reference to FIG. 9, the
The diameter of the
On the lower surface of the
As shown in FIGS. 10 and 11, in the nozzle
As shown in FIG. 11, in the elastic
That is, the
Next, the
First, with reference to FIG. 12, the nozzle
The diameter of the
As shown in FIGS. 13 and 14, in the nozzle body holding portion 22B, the upper side of the nozzle
As shown in FIGS. 14 and 15, in the elastic
Also in this configuration, similarly to the first embodiment, the
That is, the
Further, in the above-described third embodiment, the rotation preventing structure on the
Next, with reference to FIGS. 16, 17, and 18, a component suction nozzle 20C in a fourth example of the exemplary embodiment of the present invention will be described. 16 and 17 correspond to FIGS. 5 and 6 in the first embodiment, and correspond to the AA cross section and the BB cross section in FIG. 4, respectively. 18 shows a cross section taken along the line EE in FIG. 17, and the structures of the
In FIG. 16 and FIG. 17, the outer shape of the nozzle
The nozzle
As shown in FIGS. 17 and 18, a ring-shaped
An elastic body mounting portion 22j for mounting the
As shown in FIGS. 16 and 18, a
In the above configuration, the
That is, the
In the fourth embodiment having the above-described configuration, the nozzle
