Claims (7)
- 第1電極と第2電極とを含み、巻き取られた電極アセンブリと、
前記電極アセンブリが挿入される開口が形成されたケースと、
前記ケースの開口に結合されたカバーと、
前記第2電極と電気的に接続され、前記ケースの外側に突出した端子と、
を含み、
前記電極アセンブリは、互いに反対方向を向く2つの面である前面および後面と、当該前面および後面を連結する2つの曲面とを含み、前記カバーは、前記前面に対向するように配置されており、
前記ケースは、底板と、前記底板から突出した4つの側面とを含み、
前記カバーには、前記ケースの側面端部が挿入される溶接溝が形成され、前記カバーは、前記ケースの前記側面端部が前記溶接溝に挿入結合された状態で前記ケースに溶接されていることを特徴とする、二次電池。 - 前記底板は、前記電極アセンブリの前記後面と平行に配置され、前記カバーは、前記電極アセンブリの前記前面と平行に配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電極アセンブリの両側側端には、活物質がコーティングされない第1電極無地部および第2電極無地部がそれぞれ形成され、前記ケースの前記底板には、前記第1電極無地部と溶接された支持顎が突出形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の二次電池。
- 前記ケースは、四角形状の底板と、前記底板から突出した第1側面、第2側面、第3側面、および第4側面を有し、
前記第1側面および第2側面は、前記電極アセンブリの曲面にそれぞれ対向するように配置され、前記第3側面は、前記第1電極無地部に対向するように配置され、前記第4側面は、前記第2電極無地部に対向するように配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の二次電池。 - 前記支持顎は、前記ケースが屈曲して形成され、前記ケースの前記底板および前記第3側面と当接することを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の二次電池。
- 前記溶接溝は、前記カバーの側端に沿って延在するように形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記ケースの厚さは、前記カバーの厚さの0.5倍〜0.8倍となることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
