Description
不連続繊維で強化された第1熱可塑性樹脂部品を成形し、
略連続繊維で強化された第2熱可塑性樹脂部品をレイアップし、
前記第1及び第2熱可塑性樹脂部品を一体溶接する、ことを含む方法。
モールド内に熱可塑性プリプレグフレークの充填材料を配置し、
前記プリプレグフレークにおける熱可塑性樹脂を溶融することにより、樹脂と繊維との流動性混合物を形成し、
前記モールド内において前記流動性混合物を圧縮する、ことを含む付記2に記載の方法。
前記第1及び第2熱可塑性樹脂部品の一体溶接は、当該第1及び第2熱可塑性樹脂部品における熱可塑性樹脂の溶融温度になるまで当該第1及び第2熱可塑性樹脂部品を加熱する、付記3の方法。
前記第1及び第2熱可塑性樹脂部品のそれぞれの接合面に沿って、当該第1及び第2熱可塑性樹脂部品を相互に組み立て、
前記接合面を溶融することにより行われる、付記1に記載の方法。
前記一体溶接は、前記第1熱可塑性樹脂部品の前記表面上に対して前記第2熱可塑性樹脂部品のレイアップがなされている間に行われる、付記1に記載の方法。
ウェブ及び当該ウェブと一体的な少なくとも一つのフランジを有する繊維強化熱可塑性部品を圧縮成形し、
繊維強化熱可塑性キャップをレイアップし、
前記フランジ上に前記熱可塑性キャップを設置し、
前記熱可塑性キャップと前記フランジを接合する、ことを含む方法。
前記ウェブ及び前記フランジの形状に対応したキャビティを有するモールド内に熱可塑性プリプレグフレークの充填材料を導入し、
前記熱可塑性プリプレグフレークにおける樹脂が溶融して流動性を有するまで前記モールドを加熱し、
前記モールド内において前記流動性樹脂を圧縮する、ことを含む付記11に記載の方法。
熱可塑性プリプレグフレークを用いてビームを成形し、
熱可塑性プリプレグテープを用いて少なくとも一つのキャップを作製し、
前記キャップと前記ビームとを一体溶接する、方法。
不連続繊維で強化された第1熱可塑性樹脂部品と、
連続繊維で強化され、前記1熱可塑性樹脂部品と接合された第2熱可塑性樹脂部品とを備える、構造体。
ランダム配向の不連続繊維で強化された熱可塑性樹脂で形成され、ウェブ及び当該ウェブと一体的な一対のフランジを含む複合ビームと、
前記一対のフランジのうちの一つと接合しており、連続繊維で強化された熱可塑性樹脂で形成されている複合キャップとを備える、複合構造体。
前記少なくとも一つの複合キャップ及び前記少なくとも一つのフランジは前記接合面に沿って一体溶接されている、付記23に記載の複合構造体。
Claims (12)
- 複合構造体を製造する方法であって、
不連続繊維で強化された第1熱可塑性樹脂部品をモールド内で成形し、
前記成形後に、前記第1熱可塑性樹脂部品を冷却し、
略連続繊維で強化された第2熱可塑性樹脂部品をレイアップし、
前記第1熱可塑性樹脂部品が冷却された後、前記第1及び第2熱可塑性樹脂部品を一体溶接する、ことを含む方法であって、
前記第1熱可塑性樹脂部品の成形は、熱可塑性樹脂と不連続ランダム配向繊維との流動性混合物を圧縮成形することにより行われる、方法。 - 前記圧縮成形は、
前記モールド内に熱可塑性プリプレグフレークの充填材料を配置し、
前記プリプレグフレークにおける熱可塑性樹脂を溶融することにより、樹脂と繊維との流動性混合物を形成し、
前記モールド内において前記流動性混合物を圧縮する、ことを含む請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記第1及び第2熱可塑性樹脂部品の一体溶接は、当該第1及び第2熱可塑性樹脂部品における熱可塑性樹脂の溶融温度になるまで当該第1及び第2熱可塑性樹脂部品を加熱する、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記一体溶接は、
前記第1及び第2熱可塑性樹脂部品のそれぞれの接合面に沿って、当該第1及び第2熱可塑性樹脂部品を相互に組み立て、
前記接合面を溶融することにより行われる、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記接合面の溶融は、組み立てられた前記第1及び第2熱可塑性樹脂部品を、炉の内部に配置することにより行われる、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記一体溶接の前に前記第2熱可塑性樹脂部品を一体化することを更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第2熱可塑性樹脂部品のレイアップは、前記第1熱可塑性樹脂部品の一表面に複数の層をレイアップすることにより行われ、
前記一体溶接は、前記第1熱可塑性樹脂部品の前記一表面上に対して前記第2熱可塑性樹脂部品のレイアップがなされている間に行われる、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記一体溶接は、前記第1熱可塑性樹脂部品の前記一表面上に対して前記第2熱可塑性樹脂部品のレイアップがなされている間に、前記第1及び第2熱可塑性樹脂部品のそれぞれの前記接合面を局所的に溶融することで行われる、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記第1熱可塑性樹脂部品は、ウェブ、及び当該ウェブと一体的な少なくとも一つのフランジを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第2熱可塑性樹脂部品は、前記フランジと一体溶接されたキャップを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記第1熱可塑性樹脂部品は、前記ウェブ及び前記フランジのうち少なくとも一つと一体的に形成された少なくとも一つのフィッティングを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記第2熱可塑性樹脂部品は、連続繊維で強化された複数の熱可塑性樹脂層を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
