Description
図1において、燃料タンクシステム1は、車両、船舶などの乗り物に搭載されている。例えば、燃料タンクシステム1は、道路走行車両に搭載されている。燃料タンクシステム1は、液体の燃料を溜める燃料タンク2を有する。液体の燃料は、燃料タンクシステム1が使用される通常の温度において蒸発し、燃料蒸気を生成する。燃料蒸気は、空気と混じる。液体の燃料は、例えばガソリンまたは軽油である。燃料タンクシステム1は、内燃機関などの燃料消費装置に供給される燃料を貯えている。燃料タンクシステム1は、燃料タンク2に燃料を補給するために利用されるフィラーパイプ3を有する。フィラーパイプ3は、燃料タンク2から上へ延び出している。

Claims (7)
- 燃料タンク(2)と前記燃料タンクから排出される燃料蒸気を処理する燃料蒸気処理装置(4)との間の通路に設けられ、燃料を捕捉し、捕捉された燃料を貯留燃料として溜める燃料捕捉器(7)、および
前記燃料捕捉器から延び出し、フィラーパイプ(3)を通して前記燃料タンクに給油される燃料の流れによって低圧を生成する低圧生成部(8)に接続されることによって、前記貯留燃料を前記燃料タンクに戻す戻り系統(9)を備え、
前記低圧生成部は、前記燃料タンクと前記フィラーパイプとを連通する循環系統(8)であり、
前記戻り系統と前記循環系統とは合流部(11)において接続されており、前記貯留燃料は、前記戻り系統および前記循環系統を経由して前記燃料タンクに戻され、
前記循環系統は、前記燃料タンクと前記合流部との間に、前記合流部に低圧を作用させるように通路の断面積を調節する調節弁(12)を有する燃料戻し装置。 - 前記合流部と前記調節弁とを提供するひとつの配管部品(30)を有する請求項1に記載の燃料戻し装置。
- 前記燃料捕捉器は、前記燃料タンクから離れて位置付けられている請求項1または請求項2に記載の燃料戻し装置。
- 前記燃料捕捉器は、前記燃料タンクから前記燃料蒸気処理装置への燃料の漏れ出しを阻止する弁機構(6)を備え、前記燃料捕捉器は、前記弁機構と前記燃料蒸気処理装置との間において燃料を捕捉するように形成されている請求項1から請求項3のいずれかに記載の燃料戻し装置。
- 前記戻り系統は、前記燃料タンクへ向かう順方向流れを許容し、前記燃料タンクからの逆方向流れを阻止する逆止弁(28)を有している請求項1から請求項4のいずれかに記載の燃料戻し装置。
- 前記逆止弁は、差圧に応答する弁であり、前記燃料捕捉器側の圧力が、前記低圧生成部側の圧力より所定の閾値差圧を上回って高いときに開弁する請求項5に記載の燃料戻し装置。
- 前記逆止弁は、前記燃料捕捉器側に入口を有し、前記低圧生成部側に出口を有するダックビル弁である請求項6に記載の燃料戻し装置。
