Description
本発明の負極集電体は、フッ化物イオン電池に用いられる負極集電体であって、Fe、MgあるいはTiの単体、または、これらの金属元素の1つ以上を含有する合金であることを特徴とする。
図1は、本発明のフッ化物イオン電池の一例を示す概略断面図である。図1に示されるフッ化物イオン電池10は、正極活物質を含有する正極活物質層1と、負極活物質を含有する負極活物質層2と、正極活物質層1および負極活物質層2の間に形成された電解質層3と、正極活物質層1の集電を行う正極集電体4と、負極活物質層2の集電を行う負極集電体5と、これらの部材を収納する電池ケース6とを有する。本発明においては、負極集電体5として、上述した負極集電体を用いることを特徴とする。
以下、本発明のフッ化物イオン電池について、構成ごとに説明する。
本発明のフッ化物イオン電池は、負極活物質層と、負極活物質層の集電を行う負極集電体とを有する。負極活物質層は、少なくとも負極活物質を含有する層である。また、負極活物質層は、負極活物質の他に、導電化材および結着材の少なくとも一方をさらに含有していても良い。
本発明における電解質層は、正極活物質層および負極活物質層の間に形成される層である。電解質層を構成する電解質は、液体電解質(電解液)であっても良く、固体電解質であっても良い。
本発明のフッ化物イオン電池は、正極活物質層と、正極活物質層の集電を行う正極集電体とを有する。正極活物質層は、少なくとも正極活物質を含有する層である。また、正極活物質層は、正極活物質の他に、導電化材および結着材の少なくとも一方をさらに含有していても良い。
本発明のフッ化物イオン電池は、上述した負極活物質層、負極集電体、電解質層、正極活物質層および正極集電体を有するものである。また、本発明のフッ化物イオン電池は、正極活物質層および負極活物質層の間に、セパレータを有していても良い。より安全性の高い電池を得ることができるからである。
本発明のフッ化物イオン電池は、一次電池であっても良く、二次電池であっても良いが、中でも、二次電池であることが好ましい。繰り返し充放電でき、例えば車載用電池として有用だからである。なお、一次電池には、二次電池の一次電池的使用(充電後、一度の放電だけを目的とした使用)も含まれる。また、本発明のフッ化物イオン電池の形状としては、例えば、コイン型、ラミネート型、円筒型および角型等を挙げることができる。
測定試料としてFe板(純度99.99%、ニラコ社製)を用意した。一方、テトラグライム(G4、キシダ化学社製)に、リチウムビスフルオロスルホニルアミド(Li−FSA、キシダ化学社製)およびフッ化セシウム(CsF、関東化学社製)を、それぞれ4.5M、0.45Mとなるように混合し、フッ素樹脂製の密封容器内にて30℃の条件で撹拌することにより、電解液を得た。このようにして、測定試料および電解液を用意した。
測定試料としてMgリボン(純度99.9%、ニラコ社製)を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、測定試料および電解液を用意した。
測定試料としてCu板(純度99.96%、ニラコ社製)を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、測定試料および電解液を用意した。
測定試料としてPb板(純度99.99%、ニラコ社製)を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、測定試料および電解液を用意した。
測定試料としてPt板(純度99.98%、ニラコ社製)を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、測定試料および電解液を用意した。
測定試料としてSn板(純度99.9%、ニラコ社製)を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、測定試料および電解液を用意した。
測定試料としてZn板(純度99.5%、ニラコ社製)を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、測定試料および電解液を用意した。
測定試料としてFe板(純度99.99%、ニラコ社製)を用意した。一方、トリグライム(G3、関東化学社製)と、リチウムヘキサフルオロホスフェート(LiPF6、キシダ化学社製)と、フッ化リチウム(LiF、和光純薬社製)とを、G3:LiPF6:LiF=20:5:1のモル比となるように混合し、フッ素樹脂製の密封容器内にて30℃の条件で撹拌することにより、電解液を得た。このようにして、測定試料および電解液を用意した。
測定試料としてMgリボン(純度99.9%、ニラコ社製)を用いたこと以外は、実施例3と同様にして、測定試料および電解液を用意した。
測定試料としてSUS304板(ニラコ社製)を用いたこと以外は、実施例3と同様にして、測定試料および電解液を用意した。
測定試料としてCu板(純度99.96%、ニラコ社製)を用いたこと以外は、実施例3と同様にして、測定試料および電解液を用意した。
測定試料としてPt板(純度99.98%、ニラコ社製)を用いたこと以外は、実施例3と同様にして、測定試料および電解液を用意した。
測定試料としてMgリボン(純度99.9%、ニラコ社製)を用意した。一方、プロピレンカーボネート(PC、キシダ化学社製)と、リチウムヘキサフルオロホスフェート(LiPF6、キシダ化学社製)と、フッ化リチウム(LiF、和光純薬社製)とを、PC:LiPF6:LiF=20:5:1のモル比となるように混合し、フッ素樹脂製の密封容器内にて30℃の条件で撹拌することにより、電解液を得た。このようにして、測定試料および電解液を用意した。
測定試料としてSUS304板(ニラコ社製)を用いたこと以外は、実施例6と同様にして、測定試料および電解液を用意した。
測定試料としてTi板(純度99.5%、ニラコ社製)を用いたこと以外は、実施例6と同様にして、測定試料および電解液を用意した。
(クロノポテンシオメトリ測定)
実施例1〜8および比較例1〜7の測定試料に対して、各々の電解液中でクロノポテンシオメトリ(CP)測定を行った。具体的には、Ar雰囲気下グローブボックス内で、ディップ式3電極セルを用いて評価した。作用極には測定試料を、対極には、PTFE、アセチレンブラック(AB)、フッ化カーボンの合材電極を用いた。なお、合材電極は、PTFE:AB:フッ化カーボン=1:2:7の重量比で含有する電極である。また、基準極は、バイコールガラスを用いて電解液と隔離した。なお、基準極には、硝酸銀およびテトラブチルアンモニウムパークロレートがそれぞれ0.1Mで溶解したアセトニトリル溶液にAg線を浸漬させたものを用いた。また、測定は、室温にて行い、電気量が−0.01mAh/cm2となった電位を求めた。

Claims (5)
- 正極活物質を含有する正極活物質層と、負極活物質を含有する負極活物質層と、前記正極活物質層および前記負極活物質層の間に形成された電解質層と、前記正極活物質層の集電を行う正極集電体と、前記負極活物質層の集電を行う負極集電体と、を有するフッ化物イオン電池であって、
前記負極集電体が、Fe、MgあるいはTiの単体、または、これらの金属元素の1つ以上を含有する合金であり、
前記負極活物質をMとした場合、M/MFx反応の理論電位が1V vs.Li/Li+以下であり、
前記負極集電体と前記負極活物質とが別部材であることを特徴とするフッ化物イオン電池。 - 前記負極集電体が、Feの単体、または、Feを含有する合金であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフッ化物イオン電池。
- 前記Feを含有する合金が、ステンレス鋼であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のフッ化物イオン電池。
- 前記電解質層を構成する電解質が、電解液であることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3までのいずれかの請求項に記載のフッ化物イオン電池。
- 前記負極活物質Mが、Ce、Mg、またはCaを少なくとも含有するものであることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4までのいずれかの請求項に記載のフッ化物イオン電池。
