Description
またこの発明は、光源と、該光源に熱的に接続されるヒートシンクと、送風装置とを備えた車両用灯具において、上記ヒートシンクは、上記光源に対して、該光源の前方へ延びる光軸に交差する交差方向の外側へ延びる基部と、該基部の上記交差方向の外側に設けられ、上記送風装置の送風によって放熱される放熱部とを有し、上記放熱部は、上記光源よりも前方に延設する前方延設部を少なくとも備え、上記基部の背面に熱的に接続され、上記ヒートシンクよりも熱伝導率が高い熱拡散部材が設けられ、上記熱拡散部材は板状に形成され、その板面方向よりも板厚方向の熱伝導率が低い異方性を有し、上記熱拡散部材の背方に、上記ヒートシンクと上記送風装置とのうち少なくとも一方を灯具本体部材に取り付ける熱可塑性を有する取付部材が設けられたものである。
図1は本実施形態の車両用灯具の車幅方向の中央部における一部縦断面図であって、図4中のB−B線矢視に対応する本実施形態の車両用灯具の断面図、図2は本実施形態の車両用灯具の要部の斜視図、図3は本実施形態の車両用灯具の車幅方向の中央部縦断面における斜視断面図であって、図4中のB−B線矢視における斜視断面図、図4は本実施形態の車両用灯具の要部の正面図、図5は図4中のC−C線断面図、図6(a)は送風装置の要部を示す外観図、図6(b)は図2中のA−A線拡大断面図である。
なお、前方延設部13に設けた放熱フィン16は、前方に向けて先細りになるようにその径方向の肉厚を徐々に薄く形成されている。
また、本発明において前方とは光源の照射方向を示すとともに、背方(後方)とは光源の照射方向と反対方向を示すものであって、上述した実施形態では、LED5の照射方向と車両の前方とが一致する例、並びに、LED5の照射方向と灯具ユニットの照射方向が一致する例について説明したが、必ずしも一致しなくてもよい。

Claims (4)
- 光源と、該光源に熱的に接続されるヒートシンクと、送風装置とを備えた車両用灯具において、
上記ヒートシンクは、
上記光源に対して、該光源の前方へ延びる光軸に交差する交差方向の外側へ延びる基部と、
該基部の上記交差方向の外側に設けられ、上記送風装置の送風によって放熱される放熱部とを有し、
上記放熱部は、上記光源よりも前方に延設する前方延設部を少なくとも備え、
上記基部の背面に熱的に接続され、上記ヒートシンクよりも熱伝導率が高い熱拡散部材が設けられ、
上記放熱部の上記交差方向の外側部位は、該交差方向の内側部位よりも表面積が大きく形成された表面積拡大部が設けられ、上記放熱部の上記交差方向の内側部位には前後方向に延びる上記熱拡散部材を備えた
車両用灯具。 - 光源と、該光源に熱的に接続されるヒートシンクと、送風装置とを備えた車両用灯具において、
上記ヒートシンクは、
上記光源に対して、該光源の前方へ延びる光軸に交差する交差方向の外側へ延びる基部と、
該基部の上記交差方向の外側に設けられ、上記送風装置の送風によって放熱される放熱部とを有し、
上記放熱部は、上記光源よりも前方に延設する前方延設部を少なくとも備え、
上記基部の背面に熱的に接続され、上記ヒートシンクよりも熱伝導率が高い熱拡散部材が設けられ、
上記熱拡散部材は板状に形成され、その板面方向よりも板厚方向の熱伝導率が低い異方性を有し、上記熱拡散部材の背方に、上記ヒートシンクと上記送風装置とのうち少なくとも一方を灯具本体部材に取り付ける熱可塑性を有する取付部材が設けられた
車両用灯具。 - 上記熱拡散部材は、上記基部の背面の上記交差方向において上記光源の側から上記放熱部と熱的に接するように上記交差方向に延設された
請求項1又は2に記載の車両用灯具。 - 上記放熱部は、その周方向に設けられた放熱部本体と、該放熱部本体から上記交差方向の外方に起立して前後方向に延びるとともに周方向に配設された複数の放熱フィンとで構成され、
上記基部の板厚は、上記放熱フィンの板厚の2倍以下である
請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の車両用灯具。
