Claims (6)
- トナーを現像装置に供給し、両端部が支持されることにより、自重によって撓むトナーボトルであって、
前記トナーを内部に収納し、駆動源の駆動力によって回転するボトル部と、
前記ボトル部の外周面の側面に設けられ、前記ボトル部の前記側面のたわみ量を検出する変位センサと、
前記変位センサによって検出される結果に基づいて、前記ボトル部に収納されている前記トナーの量を算出する制御部と、
を備えることを特徴とするトナーボトル。 - 前記変位センサは、前記ボトル部の前記側面に貼付された圧電素子を有し、前記たわみ量を前記圧電素子によって検出する、請求項1に記載のトナーボトル。
- 前記制御部によって算出された前記トナーの量を報知する報知部を備える、請求項1または請求項2に記載のトナーボトル。
- 前記制御部は、前記変位センサによって検出される電気信号の最大値と最小値とに基づいて前記トナーの量を算出する、請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれかに記載のトナーボトル。
- 前記制御部は、前記最大値と前記最小値との差に基づいて、前記トナーの量を算出する請求項4に記載のトナーボトル。
- 前記制御部は、前記最大値と前記最小値との比に基づいて、前記トナーの量を算出する請求項4に記載のトナーボトル。
