Description
前記微粒子がポリウレタン樹脂からなり、該微粒子のTgが−10℃以下であって、該微粒子の平均粒径が10〜16μmであり、前記ポリオール成分100質量部に対し、該微粒子を1.5〜6.0質量部にて含有するとともに、該微粒子の、押込み深さ1μmでのユニバーサル硬度が2.0以下であるものである。
前記弾性層の外周に、上記本発明の導電性ローラ用塗料組成物が被覆されていることを特徴とするものである。
まず、本発明の導電性ローラ用塗料組成物は、ポリオールおよびイソシアネートを含む樹脂成分と、微粒子とを含有し、導電性ローラにおける表層の形成に用いられる。
トリレンジイソシアネート(TDI)とポリエーテルポリオールとから合成したウレタンプレポリマー100質量部と、アセチレンブラック2質量部とを混合して、アセチレンブラックが分散したウレタンプレポリマーを調製し、これをA成分とした。一方、ポリエーテルポリオール30質量部と、過塩素酸ナトリウム(NaClO4)0.1質量部とを70℃に加熱しながら混合し、更にポリエーテル変性シリコーンオイル(整泡剤)4.5質量部と、ジブチルスズジラウレート(触媒)0.2質量部とを混合して混合物を調製し、これをB成分とした。次に、上記A成分とB成分とをメカニカルフロス法により発泡させて、更に、芯金をセットした円筒形状の金型に注入し、RIM成形によって、発泡ポリウレタンからなる弾性層を有するローラ本体を作製した。

Claims (5)
- ポリオールおよびイソシアネートを含む樹脂成分と、微粒子とを含有する導電性ローラ用塗料組成物であって、
前記微粒子がポリウレタン樹脂からなり、該微粒子のTgが−10℃以下であって、該微粒子の平均粒径が10〜16μmであり、前記ポリオール成分100質量部に対し、該微粒子を1.5〜6.0質量部にて含有するとともに、該微粒子の、押込み深さ1μmでのユニバーサル硬度が2.0以下であることを特徴とする導電性ローラ用塗料組成物。 - 前記樹脂成分のTgが0℃以下である請求項1記載の導電性ローラ用塗料組成物。
- 前記樹脂成分が、ラクトン変性ポリオールを含む請求項1または2記載の導電性ローラ用塗料組成物。
- シャフトと、該シャフトの外周に担持された弾性層と、を含む現像ローラにおいて、
前記弾性層の外周に、請求項1〜3のうちいずれか一項記載の導電性ローラ用塗料組成物が被覆されていることを特徴とする現像ローラ。 - 請求項4記載の現像ローラが搭載されていることを特徴とする画像形成装置。
