Description
厚みが約0.3mm以下であるフレキシブルガラス基板と、
フレキシブルガラス基板の表面に連結されている補剛層であって、該補剛層が、フレキシブルガラス基板の表面に沿って延伸方向に延在する少なくとも1つの補剛要素を含み、補剛要素が、補剛要素の延伸方向と実質的に平行な方向にフレキシブルガラス基板の好ましい曲げ軸を与えるように選択されたヤング率を有するものである補剛層
を備えたフレキシブルガラス構造体が提供される。
厚みが約0.3mm以下であるフレキシブルガラス基板と、
フレキシブルガラス基板の表面に連結されている補剛層であって、該補剛層が、
フレキシブルガラス基板の表面に沿って第1方向に延在する第1補剛要素と、
フレキシブルガラス基板の表面に沿って、第1方向とは異なる第2方向に延在する第2補剛要素と
を含む補剛層、
を備えたフレキシブルガラス構造体であって、
第1および第2補剛要素が、それぞれ、第1方向および第2方向に延在し、かつ、フレキシブルガラス基板の捻れまたは2軸曲げを阻止するように選択されたヤング率を有する、フレキシブルガラス構造体が提供される。
少なくとも1つの補剛要素を、フレキシブルガラス基板の表面に隣接させ、延伸方向に沿って配置するステップと、
少なくとも1つの補剛要素を、表面に、延伸方向に沿って連結させるステップと
を有してなり、少なくとも1つの補剛要素のヤング率が、少なくとも1つの補剛要素の延伸方向と実質的に平行な方向にフレキシブルガラス基板の好ましい曲げ軸を与えるように選択される、方法が提供される。
Claims (9)
- 厚みが0.3mm以下であるフレキシブルガラス基板と、
前記フレキシブルガラス基板の表面に連結されている補剛層であって、該補剛層が、前記フレキシブルガラス基板の前記表面に沿って延伸方向に延在する第1補剛要素を含み、前記第1補剛要素が、前記第1補剛要素の前記延伸方向と実質的に平行な方向に前記フレキシブルガラス基板の好ましい曲げ軸を与えるように選択されたヤング率を有するものである補剛層、
を備え、
前記補剛層が、
前記フレキシブルガラス基板の前記表面に沿って、前記延伸方向とは異なる第2の方向に延在する、第2補剛要素をさらに含み、
前記第1および第2補剛要素が、前記フレキシブルガラス基板の捻れまたは2軸曲げを阻止するように選択されたそれぞれのヤング率を有するフレキシブルガラス構造体。 - 前記補剛層が被覆材料をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のフレキシブルガラス構造体。
- 前記第1補剛要素が前記被覆材料中に封止されていることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のフレキシブルガラス構造体。
- 前記第1補剛要素のヤング率が前記被覆材料のヤング率よりも高いことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のフレキシブルガラス構造体。
- 前記第1補剛要素がずり粘稠化材料、ガラス繊維または金属線を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のフレキシブルガラス構造体。
- 前記第1補剛要素が複数の補剛要素を含み、前記複数の補剛要素が互いに離間しており、かつ互いに平行であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のフレキシブルガラス構造体。
- フレキシブルガラス構造体の曲げを制御する方法において、
第1補剛要素を、フレキシブルガラス基板の表面に隣接させ、延伸方向に沿って配置するステップと、
第2補剛要素を、フレキシブルガラス基板の表面に隣接させ、前記延伸方向とは異なる第2の方向に沿って配置するステップと、
前記第1補剛要素を、前記表面に、前記延伸方向に沿って連結させるステップと、
前記第2補剛要素を、前記表面に、前記第2の方向に沿って連結させるステップと、
を有してなり、
前記第1および第2補剛要素が、前記フレキシブルガラス基板の捻れまたは2軸曲げを阻止するように選択されたそれぞれのヤング率を有するものであることを特徴とする、方法。 - 前記連結ステップが、前記第1補剛要素を、前記フレキシブルガラス基板の前記表面に結合する被覆材料内に封止するステップを含むことを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記第1補剛要素がずり粘稠化材料、ガラス繊維または金属線を含むことを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の方法。
