Description
図18を参照すると、まず初めにステップ100において、負荷センサ41の出力信号に基づき算出された機関の要求トルクが読み込まれる。次いで、ステップ101では、要求トルクに基づき燃料噴射弁3からの燃料噴射量Qが算出される。燃料噴射量Qは要求トルクが高くなるにつれて増大する。次いで、ステップ102では、機関の運転状態が、図8および図15Aに示される自着火領域RR内にあるか否かが判別される。機関の運転状態が、図8および図15Aに示される自着火領域RR内にないと判別されたときには、ステップ103に進み、点火栓59により混合気を着火させる火花点火燃焼が行われる。

Claims (5)
- 燃焼室内に配置されてガソリンからなる燃料を噴射する燃料噴射弁と、燃焼室内に配置されて燃料噴射弁からの噴射燃料を点火する点火栓と、燃料噴射弁からの燃料噴射作用および点火栓による点火作用を制御する電子制御ユニットとを具備しており、燃料噴射弁から燃焼室内に噴射された主燃料を自着火させるようにした内燃機関の制御装置において、該主燃料の噴射後、該主燃料の自着火が生じる前の圧縮行程中に、該燃料噴射弁から、第1補助燃料と第2補助燃料とが順次噴射され、該電子制御ユニットにより、該第1補助燃料の噴射時期、点火栓の点火時期および該第2補助燃料の噴射時期を制御することにより、点火栓による点火作用により第1補助燃料を火炎伝播燃焼させ、該第2補助燃料を該火炎伝播燃焼領域内に噴射させて、主燃料の自着火が生じる前に、該第2補助燃料を拡散燃焼させ、該主燃料の燃料噴射と、該第1補助燃料の燃料噴射と、該第2補助燃料の燃料噴射とが順次行われるときに、機関の発生トルクが高くなるにつれて、該第2補助燃料の噴射量が増大され、該第2補助燃料の噴射時期、該第1補助燃料の噴射時期および点火時期が進角される内燃機関の制御装置。
- 機関の運転領域内において、自着火燃焼を行わせる自着火燃焼領域が予め設定されており、該自着火燃焼領域内において機関の発生トルクが予め定められた境界を越えたときには該主燃料の燃料噴射と、該第1補助燃料の燃料噴射と、該第2補助燃料の燃料噴射とが順次行われ、該自着火燃焼領域内において機関の発生トルクが予め定められた境界よりも低いときには該主燃料の燃料噴射のみ、又は該主燃料の燃料噴射と該第1補助燃料の燃料噴射のみが行われる請求項1に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 該第2補助燃料の噴射量が増大されて予め定められた限界量に達した後、機関の発生トルクが更に増大したときには、該第1補助燃料の噴射量が増大されると共に該第1補助燃料の噴射時期が進角される請求項1に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 該電子制御ユニットにより、該主燃料が自着火しにくい運転状態であるか否かが判別され、該主燃料が自着火しにくい運転状態であると判別されたときには、該第2補助燃料の噴射量が増大される請求項1に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 該電子制御ユニットにより、主燃料の自着火時期が予測され、予測された主燃料の自着火時期が目標自着火時期に対して予め定められたクランク角以上遅れたときに、該主燃料が自着火しにくい運転状態であると判別される請求項4に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
