Description
まず、図1に基づいてエンジン制御システム全体の概略構成を説明する。
筒内噴射式の内燃機関である筒内噴射式エンジン11の吸気管12の最上流部には、エアクリーナ13が設けられ、このエアクリーナ13の下流側に、吸入空気量を検出するエアフローメータ14が設けられている。このエアフローメータ14の下流側には、モータ15によって開度調節されるスロットルバルブ16と、このスロットルバルブ16の開度(スロットル開度)を検出するスロットル開度センサ17とが設けられている。
まず、エンジン運転状態等に基づいて基本噴射量を演算すると共に各種の噴射量補正値(例えば、始動時増量補正値、暖機増量補正値、空燃比フィードバック補正値等)を演算し、これらの噴射量補正値を用いて基本噴射量を補正して要求噴射量を求める。
以下、本実施例でECU30が実行する図9及び図10の各ルーチンの処理内容を説明する。
図9に示す噴射制御ルーチンは、ECU30の電源オン期間中に所定周期で繰り返し実行される。本ルーチンが起動されると、まず、ステップ101で、エンジン運転状態(例えばエンジン回転速度と負荷等)に基づいて基本噴射量を演算する。
この後、ステップ104に進み、エンジン運転状態(例えばエンジン回転速度と負荷等)や要求噴射量等に基づいて、分割噴射実行条件が成立しているか否かを判定する。
図10に示す駆動電流設定ルーチンは、ECU30の電源オン期間中に所定周期で繰り返し実行され、特許請求の範囲でいう駆動電流設定手段としての役割を果たす。本ルーチンが起動されると、まず、ステップ201で、吸気行程噴射以外の噴射(圧縮行程噴射又は膨張行程噴射)を実施中であるか否かを判定する。
Claims (5)
- 内燃機関(11)の筒内に燃料を直接噴射する燃料噴射弁(21)と、前記燃料噴射弁(21)に供給される燃料の圧力(以下「燃圧」という)と前記燃料噴射弁(21)の駆動電流との関係を規定する駆動電流プロファイルを用いて前記燃圧に応じて前記駆動電流を設定する駆動電流設定手段(30)とを備えた筒内噴射式内燃機関の噴射制御装置において、
前記駆動電流設定手段(30)は、前記内燃機関(11)の圧縮行程で燃料を噴射する圧縮行程噴射又は膨張行程で燃料を噴射する膨張行程噴射を実施する場合に、前記駆動電流プロファイルとして、前記圧縮行程噴射又は前記膨張行程噴射の燃圧領域において前記燃圧に対する前記駆動電流の変化特性にヒステリシスを有しない第二の駆動電流プロファイルを用いて前記駆動電流を設定し、
前記第二の駆動電流プロファイルは、前記圧縮行程噴射又は前記膨張行程噴射の燃圧領域以外の燃圧領域において前記燃圧に対する前記駆動電流の変化特性にヒステリシスを有するように設定されていることを特徴とする筒内噴射式内燃機関の噴射制御装置。 - 前記駆動電流設定手段(30)は、排出ガス浄化用の触媒(25)を早期に暖機するための触媒早期暖機制御の実行中に前記圧縮行程噴射又は前記膨張行程噴射を実施する場合に、前記第二の駆動電流プロファイルを用いて前記駆動電流を設定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の筒内噴射式内燃機関の噴射制御装置。
- 前記第二の駆動電流プロファイルは、前記燃圧の変化に対して前記駆動電流がステップ的に変化するように設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の筒内噴射式内燃機関の噴射制御装置。
- 前記第二の駆動電流プロファイルは、前記燃圧の変化に対して前記駆動電流が連続的に変化するように設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の筒内噴射式内燃機関の噴射制御装置。
- 前記駆動電流設定手段(30)は、前記圧縮行程噴射又は前記膨張行程噴射の噴射時間に応じて前記駆動電流のピーク値を変更することを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の筒内噴射式内燃機関の噴射制御装置。
